You going through all that. You could just make a 4 tire inflation system. It works the same it just pumps all 4 tires at the same time.

My Jeep Cherokee has dashboard tire gauges. I can watch them then turn off the compressor. I still like the idea for the Lock on tire chuck though.

l found those lock on connectors for tyre vavles wont fit motorbikes with wire spokes, l prefer the ball type, they fit any wheels

All you need is a better hose, the free flowing air chuck, and a quality gauge in your other hand..

Take the open or close flow for the clamp ?🤔

No problem using hose clamps? I’ve never used the little hose clamps for any more than 14psi. Fuel and oil!
If they can hold up to 50 psi would be great!
As for cutting hose’s my wife’s anvil pruners work perfect!

I've had this thing for about 4 years and barely ever use it. I've probably used it a total of 20 times. Now I can't even fill up a single tire with it without it shutting off. I think it's overheating, but I don't know how to fix it.

I cant find the video about the auto dial gauge / auto shut off inflator. Have you posted?

The compressor's overpressure relief value is popping open at around 160psi when you close your value. Those compressor's aren't made to run like that. All of the fittings come open flow for a reason. The valve stem quick connect you put on should be of open flow design too.

Replace the regular ball valve you put in there with a three way (diverter) valve. That type valve will shut air off to the tire, but allow air to bleed out a second outlet in the valve. Amazon has three way valves too.

I believe Amazon offers that same quick connect in open or closed configuration. Get the open one. Keep the compress running while you go from tire to tire and the air will just bleed out of the open quick connect. That'd probably be the quickest way to get aired back up.

Don’t do this with the smaller smittybilt. I don’t think it has the same pressure release system and you’ll probably burn it up. In that case you need to insert some sort of shut off valve that shuts off the tire side but allows free flow on the compressor side while active - I did it on mine prior to upgrading to an onboard system.

Good point, mine has the back pressure value.

There is another video that did exactly what you said. I didn't know the smaller once doesn't have a pressure relief. Good to know.

LOL You have a propane heater going and a short sleeve shirt on, that's not wasteful at all. Ever hear of a sweatshirt?
