Beautiful shelter in the wilderness but can't help myself to concern the open entry and for ground level water drainage in rainy time.. really enjoyed the passionate work of the lady
Totally impracticable, an open hole in the ground without drainage that will be a come a quagmire the first time it rains -- or when winter snows thaw. All for show and unliveable. Utter rubbish!
I watch this in my own little brick cabin complete with tap water, electricity, freezer, bedding, exhaust fan, bathroom etc. Only that it's in a tropical forest. And good nettings and portable gas cooker. Beautiful lady in this video.
A small vent in the peak of the eaves helps with some of the excess heat during warmer months and can be easily plugged during cooler months. Great video.
I could not help but think of the enormous expense of energy despite how charming this appears. Its enormous effort for very little return. My advice, but a good tent, sleeping bag and stove. Enjoy your time in the forest
I love this woman. Platonically . . . for her incredible skill-sets. Brava, young lady. I'm 72 and one of my nick-names was "Trailblazer." But nothing EVER near the extraordinary talents you have exhibited. ty Have a blessed life . . . in Liberty ~
@@clasic36 you can hear the ambience of a neighborhood in the video. So she’s obviously not far from civilization. My guess is less than a football field away.
This was great but i have a suggestion...You have to make something over the opening of the enter of the shelter because if its rain the water will come inside...And you can make o little door for the cold....But the shelter is great....i love the way you make the fireplace
Very enjoyable video. It is always relaxing watching your videos and seeing how others enjoy practicing their bushcraft skills. Nice hut build, you did a excellent job. Be safe and be careful my friend.
Use the back of your knee/ leg to steady the branch when you cut in a crouched position. I’ve used foliage inside large plastic trash bags as a cushion- sure beats sleeping on those logs . Great video!
Shape-shifting is such a great gift: you can make tons of video pretending to be so many different people! But the truth always comes out in the end. 😄🤗😍😁👏😃🎶
The one thing that stands out to me is how she lays out the areas she is working in before she starts. I would like to see more videos of works she does. It’s nice seeing this.
I think this is one of the areas they cheated on a little. She did not eyeball perfect angles, dimensions and pole lengths, although there are millennia-old ways to do it, using only primitive tools. She did not eyeball her cuts either. In several instances you could see the pre-marks that had been made.
Excelente video !!!
One more suggestion: make yourself use your non-dominant arm and shoulder as much as the dominant. this will build both sides and not cause damage to only one side. I wish someone had suggested this to me as a young carpenter.
This is strictly for show. It's less of a shelter and more of a pretty arts and crafts project that gets lots bait clicks. Including my unfortunate click.🙄
@@truckerenoch8824 "pretty arts and crafts project". Arrogant, sexist and condescending keyboard warriors tend to write such drivel that gets lots of bait comments. Including mine!
@@sportysbusiness I've lived in the jungle in Papua New Guinea, as well as the boreal forest of Canada. My wife would kick her ass in a shelter building contest. i'll be honest, i'm really spoiled by the videos of people who take a random rock and turn that into an axe, I had to take a step back and remind myself jsut how difficult it is to do this with modern tools. You're skilled af!
I have only one suggestion for all bushcrafters. Carry a 4 or 5 foot walking stick with you made of hickory. Then while building, you can attach it to your shovel for leverage and ease of work? What do you think of this idea?
The way she inspects and touches the wood logs appreciating her skills/ art 💗

Fantastic shelter. Terrific video. To the point. No stupid music.
Особенно понравилось как девушка сделала камин, меня полностью впечатлила вся работа!!!Молодец!!!👏👏👏
She’s my hero!!!!
Ingenuity at it's best.
Excellent build young lady! I especially like the use of "chinking" or "mortar" you used on the ridge and walls, very impressive work!

Great tip!
Helps too, if the fireplace wants to put smoke inside.
Nice hut ! Like the chainsaw special effects in the background.

Impecable construcción la excelencia en cada detalle la chimenea, el descanso hasta el portal de la lámpara todo fue extraordinario, felicidades 👍

Yes I’m afraid in any rain the entrance would collect water, which would pool inside
What an interesting video! She is extremely talented...good for her. That shelter looks well built and very cozy! Thank you for sharing!

Great video damn very talented. She looks like she could have been in the military got a nice shape on her too.
I really enjoyed the video, thank you very much! Just one concern: in the event of a heavy rain, wouldn't a shelter of this type be flooded?
