This is a great “treat” meal and introduction to REAL food. IT'S NOT A COMPLETE MEAL that you can give your pup every single day, but for those who are coming from a kibble diet, this a great introduction to healthy real food instead of processed kibble.

My German Shepherd lets me put my hand in her bowl while she’s eating. It’s all about training them from puppyhood. If they know that you’re the hand that feeds, they learn to trust that your hand isn’t there to take it away. ❤️

This is my first time watching your channel and I love how sweet, calm, and nice you are. Also it's nice to see other dog owners feed their dog healthy foods. This helps me keep my all black German Shepard healthy and I actually tried some of this food in my dog Cocoa diet and she absolutely loved it. It has definitely improved her health. Having had northern breed pups in our family, in the past, and currently, I realize how challenging harnessing that energy is! I also enjoyed your video with the soothing music. Thank you for explaining the necessity of feeding a homemade diet that is properly balanced with muscle meat, organs, and bone (for calcium). You're so sweet ♥ Thank you! Most days I love my hair, and sometimes I miss my long hair 😜can't decide if I should stay short or not! Yes, some dog parents love the home cooked and our holistic vet definitely recommends it over kibble. He suggest reading Dr. Karen Becker's books which is what we're doing. We are pretty much 95% raw with the HuskySquad, but we do incorporate treat meals like this for them. Lots more to come on this subject! I cook for my dog every day. Boiled, chicken, green beans , carrots, egg and i use a probiotic powder for the kale because it's not always available at the grocer. He does have grain free kibbles in a bowl incase he gets hungry. He rarely eats eats it.

This was great! For the past 22 years that we've had Great Danes (always rescue), we've found free feeding them kibble was the best. Never had issues. The oldest pure Great Dane we had was 14 years old. This is the first time we have a Dane that has 2 fistulas and the vet said to start her on a no chicken/beef diet. Wouldn't you know, she and the male are allergic to salmon. The other female can eat anything LOL. What do you think would be a good sub for the fish oil? Also, I'm trying to figure out how much to actually feed them. I just want to make sure they get their correct crude protein and crude fat for their breed. My 3 say hello "woof!" to your three! :-)

So what do you feed them on the daily day basis??
The HuskySquad now eats a 95% raw diet - this is a diet that needs to be researched though or you can chat with a holistic vet. Getting "human grade meat" from the grocery store is not the route, we learned. It has to be balanced for dogs like I touched on in this video. Hope this helps! :)
