Black Soldier Fly : కోళ్ళ ఫారాల దగ్గర పెద్దగా ఇబ్బంది పెట్టే సమస్య వాసన మరియు ఈగలు. ఈ సమస్యల వలన కోళ్ళ ఫారాలు గ్రామాలకు, మనుషుల సంచారానికి దూరంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుంటారు. ఈ నేపధ్యంలో సమస్య పరిష్కారం కోసం బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై ఎంతగానో కోళ్ల రైతులకు మేలు కలిగించేదిగా మారింది. దీనివల్ల వాసన మరియు ఈగల సమస్య నుండి బయటపడటముతో పాటు కోడి ఎరువును పోషకాల గనిగా మార్చటంలో ఈ బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై బాగా ఉపయోగపడుతుంది. దీంతో పాటుగా దాణా ఖర్చులు తగ్గించుకోవచ్చని నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు.
బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై పర్యావరణానికి ఉపయోగపడే ఈగ.ఇవి మామూలుగా మన చుట్టు ప్రక్కల కనిపించే ఈగల వంటివి కావు. ఈ ఈగలు పశువులు, కోళ్ళ వ్యర్థాలను కుళ్ళగొట్టి మంచి పోషకాలు గల ఎరువుగా మార్చేందుకు దోహదపడతాయి. సాధారణంగా కోళ్ళ ఎరువు వాసన వస్తుంది. కాని కోళ్ళ వ్యర్థాలలో ఈ బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై లార్వాను వదలితే కేవలం 45 రోజులలో మంచి ఎరువుగా మార్చి కోళ్ళ ఎరువును ఎలాంటి వాసన లేకుండా చేస్తాయి.
లేయర్స్‌ కోళ్ళ ఫారమ్‌లలో పైన ఉన్న కోళ్ళు కిందకు రెట్టను వదులుతుంటాయి. ఈ రెట్టలో బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై యొక్క లార్వాలను వదులుతారు. ఈ లార్వాలు కోళ్ళ వ్యర్థాన్ని కుళ్ళగొడతాయి. 45 రోజులలో మంచి ఎరువుగా తయారవుతుంది. పూర్తిగా తయారయిన ఎరువు వాసన లేకుండా, తగు మొత్తంలో తేమ శాతంలో పొడి పొడిగా ఉంటుంది. పొడిగా ఉన్న ఎరువును జల్లెడపోసి లార్వాలను వేరు చేసి ఆ లార్వాను కోళ్ళకు దాణాగా వేస్తుంటారు.
ఈ ప్రక్రియ వలన ఒకవైపు కోళ్ళ ఎరువులో పోషకాలు అభివృద్ధి చెందడముతోపాటు ఇంకో వైపు కోళ్ళ దాణా ఖర్చు తగ్గడంతో పాటు కోళ్ళ ఆరోగ్యం మెరుగుపడడం, కోడిగుడ్లలో పోషకాల శాతం పెరగడం లాంటివి జరుగుతుంటాయి. కాబట్టి బ్లాక్ సోల్జర్ ఫ్లై ఈగలు రైతుల పాలిటి ప్రత్యేకించి కోళ్ళ రైతుల పాలిటి వరంగా చెప్పవచ్చు.
