For my build, I used Oil Kings that I hand lubed myself and I also added switch films. I love my keyboard and it sounds insane but I'm switching to Milky Yellow Pros in a few days when they get here for 1 reason and 1 reason only. The all black construction of the oil kings blocks my RGB so I can't see my keys in the dark, Milky Yellows however have a clear construction so Ill actually get use out of my RGB
oil kings bottom out at 65 grams. 80 grams is misinformation. They cleared it up a long time ago. Btw what do you think of the top out sounds of these two?
Hmm… I got that info from Gateron’s official website, unless you’re saying they haven’t update their page since it was first published 😂 I listened really closely and I think the oil king has a slightly more distinct bottom-out/top-out sound, but it’s really subtle (at least on this particular keyboard).
I just tried both out. Aula F99 is great and is almost identical to the F75 but with the numpad. I ended up keeping the F99. Great keyboard for the price!
@@MechWhisper you tried the AKKO switches? How do they compare to gateron? I like the akko cream yellow pro a lot atm. I like my SWK Blue Whale even more, but they are impossible to buy lmao.
The "Pro" is the new mold variant that Gateron created to fix the remaining issues of the old variant, such as: scratchiness, horrible stem wobble and very loose housing.
Very good video! I'm enjoying the Leobog Reaper, but those switches sound much better in the video. Do you think the Milky Yellow Pro sounds and feels better than the Leobog Reaper in person?
@@MechWhisper Thanks for the quick reply. Just one more question: What about the sound? I really liked how this switches sounds in the video because it seems quieter and thockier than the Reaper. Do you think it's worth buying for the sound?
@@matheusfernando7759 often we choose to buy a certain switch for it’s sound, more than how it feels. While I’d prefer typing on the reaper, the milky yellow is not bad too.
Are Gateron oil king hard to press? I like the sound but I like smooth switches; so I was considering between them and Akko rosewood that has less force . What would you suggest?
The Akko Rosewoods are one of the most lightest switches. The Oil KIngs one of the heavier switches. They are very different from eachtother. Also the sound of the Rosewoods is a bit dimmed. It's like between a linear and a silent switch.
The oil kings belong to the heavier switches, very smooth out of the box and thocky. The rosewood has similar sound profile, but slightly higher pitch. If you prefer lighter typing feel then the rosewood is probably better for you.
You are confusing me with so many videos on Aula f75 😭😭😭😭 . Please give me one solid recommendation for the switches. I need the creamy thocky feel. Which is better milky yellow pros or vertex v1 or are there any better options
I am currently having Keychron K pro brown switches on my Keychron K2 Pro. I am now looking for more smoother and linear swicthes with less and pleasing sound. Both of these are having same price in India! What do you recommend? and do these oil kings block RGB?
Does the oil king kill rgb and if so can you please make a vid with oil king on white colored rgb and then the milky yellows with white colored rgb (btw awesome vid u earned a new sub)
Would be curious to see a comparison of the Gateron Oil King and the Akko Rosewood switches too on the Aula F75.
Coming soon!
@@MechWhisper Rosewood switches on different boards please
Milky yellow for me. Just ordered them 👌. Thanks for the great comparison
Enjoy!
Just got them, crazy result for this price 👌
Enjoy wobble😂
@@username-thoccthey do t wobble, you must have had a cheap PCB
is the gateron milky yellow the v2 one?
They sound the same except the milky yellow’s are Half the price
Very nice comparison!
Bro this is your best video 🎉
Thank you bro!

Can you try milky yellow pros with moa keycaps? with other keycap profile too would be helpful!
I passed the quiz
Congrats ;)
great comparison.
how about gateron everfree curry vs milky yellow?
Hi ! Are the aliexpress links that you provide are "real" gateron switch ?
pls try aula f75 with xda keycap
Could you make Aula F75 x Aqua King v3 bro?
Have you tried the Aula F99? I need a numpad but I’m curious how it compares to the F75.
Not yet, might check it out!

I have the aula F99 and Leobog HI98 omg !!! Best keyboards either that thick creamy sound!
Passed it too. Oil kings are slightly deeper and fuller
Is it worth buying one of these two to replace the Reapers?
Totally! Swapped my Aula out with some 53g MMD princess switches and it feels and sounds amazing.
See what kind of sound you prefer. If you prefer a clackier board with louder feedback then stick with the reapers.
Is Milky Yellow the same as Milky Yellow Pros? On some sites I see the extra Pro at the end, but I don't see the difference in the specs?
Pros are factory lubed and have better housing tolerances (less wobblyness)
The "Pro" is the new mold variant that Gateron created to fix the remaining issues of the old variant, such as: scratchiness, horrible stem wobble and very loose housing.

Are Gateron Milky have wobble and rattle? And are its need to hand lube?
Bro, i dont chose, i want them all!!
Thank you for your freaking super ultra amazing video.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
One question did you do anything to the milky yellows/ the keyboard not counting changing the swithes
Nope I didn’t :)
Can you make a video about yunzii AL71 too?
Been hoping to see this comparison in the F75. How well can you see the lighting with the Oil Kings?
Oil Kings will the kill 90% of the RGB on any keyboard. Great switches and very smooth but definitely expensive and not for RGB boards IMHO.
@@MarbsMusicWhat about the Gateron Yellows ?
@@AbdulllahAlwadiethey are much better for RGB, not as bright as something with a diffuser but definitely won’t snuff them out like a Oil Kings
stock aula f75?
yes
Are the gateron milky yellow switches used here hand lubed or stock?
Both of them are stock factory lubed

the pre built aula f75 is really good. There's no need to change switches
the graywoodv3 or icevein is so good that you dont need to change it.
Is your keyboard north facing? Mine is, and when I swapped to gateron milky yellow my keycaps felt wobbly
But when I tried gateron silver 3.0, it was fine
Yes mine is north facing as well

Yes oil kings will reduce the rgb brightness, milky yellows are slightly better.
I heard it with my phone speaker and bad hearing 🤣
How good does the aula feel with leobog ice vein switches? Because I’m planning to buy it for myself but I just want to check if everything is good.
