cute cat! toxicity is one thing that I don't have to worry about since my dogs don't care about the plants. Super glad I watched this because I didn't know the rhizomes.

I just adopted a blue star fern 2 days ago and found this very helpful! Thank you! :) My fern's leaves aren't as curly as yours! I'm sure they'll look more awake once I give it more humidity. :) I think he wasn't receiving enough in the store.

Thank you for your comment! I'm very happy that you found it helpful! Actually, I looked through a lot of images of those guys and it seems that some of them just tend to be more curly than others. :-) So If they're more on a straight side it's not particularly some kind of defect. Unless your leaves get brown or crispy edges - it seems that it should be doing fine.

most of these ferns can stand on a northern window, the same wit spathiphyllums and anthurium. The only get some morning sun and that is not to strong that the leaves will burn

Haha you'd think you're supposed to water them since they seem to be part of the root structure. I'm glad I watched this before I watered mine for the first time.

Why Americans call plants" guys"? I can't understand it, I'm not an English speaking person. Thank you for the video.

Your cat eats all your plants? No dieffenbachias/dumb canes for you then, I guess.

@@janknuckey ficus and begonia are toxic for cats too. I hope that the cat haven't access to the room with those plants...
