One of my favorite games to play solo! Sometimes I just keep going past 20 turns and use all the tiles in the box. Beautiful game and gets me in that zen mood every time.

@sgalley22 That sounds like such a great way to play, I absolutely need to try this, thanks for sharing! I agree, this has quickly become one of my favorite solo games too. I like that it's quick to set up, the decisions are interesting and frequent without being complicated, and the components are high quality.
Cascadia will be back on this channel again for sure!

@markdandridge4433 This playthrough was recorded less than an hour after I unboxed the game, so I can absolutely say it's quick and easy to learn! As I played more and got better I started to appreciate the depth that emerged.
I really like it solo and 2-player. I've also played with 4 and that had a little more downtime, but it still worked. I'll definitely be shooting another Cascadia video (hopefully in the not-too-distant future) to show playthroughs with the 3 other sets of scoring cards.

One my 1st solo games that I absolutely love! It is so pleasant and calming to play. Actually considered bringing Cascadia to the hotel that I watched this vid at but it lost out to Parks & Splendor😂

@corey3145 Ha! Well I'm glad I was able to help you still fit a little Cascadia into your Friday. We've already talked Splendor, but what's your take on Parks? Sounds like you probably like it haha. I haven't played it.

@table_for_one Yes, I like Parks. Fits into or gives a similar vibe as Cascadia as being a very pleasant lower complexity game that has an awesome aesthetic. Everyone is spot on to rave about the artwork. It's a game I get a mood to play 2 or 3 times in a row, but then not for a few weeks. If you get or try Parks, only buy the Nightfall expansion unless you are a completionist because the other expansion (Wildlife) doesn't add to the experience much I've seen. Probably could've shortened this by saying it's a cute little game that brightens your shelf. Was my 3rd or 4th game when getting into the hobby, so it has OG status for me😉

@corey3145 I am trying super hard to NOT be a completionist but it's an ongoing effort haha! I'll definitely take the opportunity to play Parks if/when I next come across it.
