Just what you said! Age doesn’t make maturity. People who want and are willing to care for an animal properly will. Even if they are not as experienced, they will adapt and learn.

I dont think age defines whether you can have a dog, or not. As long as you realize the responsibility, and time it takes. It is your love, and compassion for dogs also having the time to dedicate to the dog.

Hi! I’m about to experience pick day for the first time and I’m so excited! I have the option for an in person or FaceTime pick. I’m really on the fence on if I should fly in or do a FaceTime. I’m kind of worried that I won’t be able to really get a sense of the best fit through video. But would also like to invest the flight money into the puppy. Any tips on what to consider with video picks, or thoughts from others on their pick day experience would be great!
