I was always told to flip each pup on their back and the one that is the most relaxed w you doing that is the one to chose and I’ve always had fantastic dogs
Same here as it was a trust and chill test, did the same with my current puppy along with my usual finger-chomp test and let her come to me.
Well she was eager for me to pick her up, chewed my finger happily without chewing it off and was waggy tailed getting a tummy rub on her back. She's a dang good dog.
PUPPIES are not surprise Christmas presents....they are family forever.

I'm torn between a long-haired dachshund and a golden retriever.
My problem with a dachshund is the extreme barking(according to stats), and with golden retriever is the extreme shedding.
goldens definitely shed A LOT!! i have one and love her to death but dang does she shed A LOT
For me it a family/ motional support dog

I noticed that all of your puppies are the same color… that beautiful auburn color. I’m considering a golden doodle and the breeder I’m talking to has all different colors from her litters. Why is that?
I’m looking in to a mini poodle or a mini golden doodle for my family, we have 3 fun/loud children. We also would like as close to non shedding as possible. What would you suggest? Pure poodle? F1 or F1b doodle? What’s the most all rounder in temperament? I’m going round and round in circles on the internet and you just seem the person who knows everything there is so I would trust your input 😊 thank you x
Hi Gabe are these guys ok with someone going to work. I start at 6.30am through to 3pm. Is about 10mins or so drive there and back. Is this too long for them being at home without me. We have an older medium sized dog who lives inside who would also be at home with the new pup. With my sons type of work they are often home before me. Just wondering if this would work with this breed. Regards Marie from New Zealand

You really need to rename the title of this video to "How to pick a puppy at the end of the day" cuz I like the phrase at the end of the day cuz really when somebody picks out a puppy they're so picking out something in the now they need to think about what they want to deal with at the end of the day when they're tired and they don't have the energy to deal with certain behaviors That's how dogs end up in the pound is when that happens whereas if you pick a puppy out thoughtfully and strategically at the end of the day you're happy with it and it doesn't go to the pound

that’s a good option but not everyone wants to rescue, some people want a specific dog for a specific reason and that’s totally okay

Children and the dogs were not good with them… 😢 some rescue dogs can be the perfect dog… but sometimes not.
