What I said last season was that Ryan Gravenberch was the player I would least like to press of all the midfielders in the PL. He has a technically fabulous first touch, among the top in the league. And he is two footed. And he bends his knees to receive so he can reach far and shape his outside or inside foot to a wide range of angles. And with bent knees and his center of gravity low he can use his body effectively. The net effect is he can put the ball pretty much anywhere with his first touch, and leave you for dead. Now, it is not necessarily that he is the best midfielder in the league (although this season are making an argument), but that it is too difficult to learn from getting beaten by Gravenberch. He makes opposition players look stupid. There is not really any correct way to press him, other than do not press him. Press him and he is about 80% likely to leave you for dead.
I enjoyed this video alot, so well done. It could well just be the scanning but I also think its the decisioning on what to do with the latest information. I suggest its his decisioning as much as if not more than his scanning.
(Liverpool Fan) We get this is amazing from Gravenberch, and we’ve seen why. But can i just say though bro, your video is exceptional! Truly geezer phenomenal. Shame we have woke rubbish nepotism for media. Likes of boring Gary Neville. Independent media for the win mate. Hope you grow fast.
To think we only signed this guy because Romeo Lavia said no. Gravenberch has all the raw tools to become maybe the best midfielder in the world. I think he'll inevitably move out of the 6 position and be given a more free role as a box to box player and when that happens he will really stake a claim for one of the best midfielders around. He was compared to a young Paul Pogba at Ajax because of his size and athleticism and being a big box to box midfielder who could dribble the ball like a winger. I think his ceiling will be to become what Paul Pogba should have been.
Ryan doesn't just operate as a 6 but can turn into an 8 immediately with his jets has pace to beat opponents to play the final ball. He's still young and Slot is still putting it together so who knows how good Ryan will be next season with a full season under his belt.
Try to at least get the guy's name right! Its crazy to hear GravenBertsh ?! twice within 20 seconds. So I stopped. In future just think of Dennis BERGkamp. And use that BERG pronunciation for Gravenberch. Goldberg, Bergkamp, gravenBERG. Even if written Berch don't pronounce like he is a russian. Kinda big fail considering all the effort put into making a video.
He only had a year left on his deal at Ajax and refused a new contract. He was more valuable as a talent when Bayern bought him. He was seen as the top midfield prospect in Europe. When we signed him his value had gone down because he barely played for a year but because he had a long contract and it was Bayern selling him and not Ajax his price went up.
Crazy thing is, Jones has that ability too. They're hard to take the ball away from
Facts. Even if they don't get another 6. Jones can easily be converted to that ball playing 6 Slot wants
true no fancy tricks he makes it look so easy
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.😊

Pls say Burk instead of Burtch, it hurts!
Wonder if Gravenberch has been studying Busquets…doing alot by doing a little.
Busquet was a real master that build up play

Hearing the man's name being mispronounced for 10 solid minutes was so painful. It was so bad, that it seemed deliberate.
He could have said "Graivenburtsj". Ggggggrrrraivenbairggggg

Google translate makes it sound Gravenburtsj in English, but if you listen to Dutch it's pronounced correctly.
Now I know why we paid more than double what Bayern paid for Gravenberch...
