Am I the only one who thinks the Mars system could be improved to be less bulky? I was hoping for something more like Infinite Stratos, if I got the name right. A sleeker and more modern look for PSO2 New Genesis would have been better than the current design with big metal boxes on your back, a large green rifle, and a big sword. They could have added a dodge mechanic that leaves afterimages. There was so much potential for the Mars system instead of making it look so bulky, but that's just my opinion. I still hope they'll make some changes. If I had control over PSO2 New Genesis for just one month, I believe the game would improve significantly. But I guess everyone thinks that way.
Maybe there are certain limitations to their game engine that they cannot exactly replicate stuff like that. I wish game development was just drag and drop but the developers here need to learn about the game engine and it's code etc.
@@AzariusRWell, I can't speak specifically for Japan, but there is a controversy here in the West about hiring people who know nothing about games. This is causing development delays and affecting the quality of games because they are hiring people who don't know a CPU from an RPU. I'll admit, I have no idea what ARP is; I just made that up. However, this is one reason why some online or live games are taking so long for updates. As for Japan, they have always been slow, and I honestly don't think they know much about their games. They focus on gacha, but that's it. When I say Japan, I mean Sega specifically. If it isn't Sonic the Hedgehog or related to gacha, they seem lost. The Marx system is great, but they didn't put much thought into what NGS is when designing it. Essentially, all they did was attach big boxes to your back with an engine, a gun in one hand, and a blade in the other. It looks okay, but they could have made it look better and more streamlined. If they had looked at something like Infinite Stratos, it might have saved them a lot of work and money. They could have marketed the Marx system with a new cosmetic look, and people would have gone crazy for it. Instead, they went with something bulky. I really wonder what they're thinking. They're trying to make money, but it's their own approach. People love skins, and the fact that they aren't capitalizing on this is beyond me.
I believe they're also managing the server loads. Extra effects and even character accessories add to the server load. I'm sure things could look better but will it compromise game play.
@ACLMSC Honestly, I can't say with 100% certainty that I can answer that question because GS is one of the top games when it comes to fashion customization in cosmetics. So I'm not going to say they can, but at the same time, I'm not going to say they can't. If you really want to get technical about it, the Mars system, which I have mentioned before, is bulky. If they really wanted to, they could make the Mars system like your character where you can go into the salon and customize its appearance. They could also capitalize on this by selling parts that would make it look sleeker and offering scratches as rewards for logging into the game, completing certain quests, or participating in certain events. This would incentivize more people to play the game. However, I'm not sure about that, honestly. I would say it's probably possible if they put in the work and actually wanted to do it. But as everyone knows, NGS is extremely slow and lazy. Those are just my opinions.
@ZeroTwo-oni-princess I wouldn't be surprised if customizable parts would be made available in the future. By this time most players MARS skill trees are maxed out so there is probably some kind of update in the works.
I kinda prefer something closed like Namless City to a new feild like the old ones. Maybe not timed? But I miss the loop of zones in the base game, the aimlessness and empty rooms of fields as is kinda sucks. So while I want a new area to be in, I don't want another island.
I must admit, that is an intriguing mechanic. It certainly adds an element of strategy to the game, as I find myself constantly monitoring other players' health bars to determine if assistance is needed. However, I have observed that the enemies do not revive if they are not defeated simultaneously. For instance, if you eliminate the first boss and then, ten seconds later, defeat the second boss, they do not respawn. Technically, they died at the same time, although there was a ten-second interval between their deaths.
@@ACLMSC YYeah, but that takes away the excitement from it. That 15 seconds should be cut down to maybe 5 to 6 seconds. That's why I've always stated that PSO2 needs two separate modes. And then you have normal mode, where you have that 15 seconds or whatever they want to give you. I think that would satisfy a lot of people. It would also incentivize those players doing the normal mode to give hard mode a try. They might think, "If they're doing this, maybe I could do it." That is all, have a good day.
Pso2 version is better.
@@AmandaPeach Don't be like that, we haven't fought it yet. For all we know it will start boring and by depth 10 it will be a prettier version of the glorious monstruosity we faced in pso2.
@DreamlessVoid this is true but I'm not that positive they will do something really better because in this 3.5 years i saw nothing that make the real difference and overwhelming about ngs itself. Im still lock up on dext farm and the purgatory of buying fashion because there's nothing better to farm
i hope new Director gonna bring PSO2 back to its glory ~
and Masquerade~!!
Glory? What are you talking about?
This guy almost killed PSO2 (Ep5) bruh
@LeonMagnus-if7vn nah, compared to previous director who do eps 4 that actually the worst eps on pso2, he still better.
@@Nematoda4ever Bruh, you don't get it.
Ep4 was a major success that attracts alot of people to play PSO2 on the surface level.
On the other hand Ep5 suffered a whole year without a proper content to balance out all the base class 'cos Hero was too OP (and HMZK was planning to release 4x Buster Quest for each DF Omega but they scrapped into 2).
@@LeonMagnus-if7vn *BRUH* "Major success" lol
literally many players complained on eps 4
even the anime is flop because the story is bad.
they only try PSO2 because the anime and then stop playing, basically only 'tourists'.
meanwhile eps 5 is also not that good either, but still thanks to content like new class, dark blast, and Masquerade made people back to play PSO2.
@@Nematoda4ever BRUH, do you even understand what "surface level" mean?
SEGA...
Duel and solo quests are bad noe ond play it...
SEGA later...
Let's do more...
Something never changes....
