Ever since they collected the old duels into a menu category, I've been fully expecting Masq to become a second category in Duels that does not use the special capsules. So far, they've done exactly what I expected. As well, whenever we've had those duel capsules, they've shown them off in he headline and where to collect them. They didn't show any for this quest.
At this rate, Lee might as well give you 500 or 1000 star gems, because that is the only thing in that free scratch for 100 pools that holds any value. Everything else is just items that people already have and do not need, making it rather pointless. It's like Sega is throwing garbage at you and asking you to dispose of it for them. There might be some good items for new players, but for those who have been around for a while, it is all just trash that Sega no longer wants. They could have included some cosmetic items or something more desirable, but instead, they are offering stamps and weapon camos that people already have. Some cosmetic items are from the SG scratch that can be obtained at any time as well.
My only hope is that they scrap PA immunity mechanic, otherwise people can absolutely righteously demand more PAs. It worked in base game because we had so much to choose from.
i really hope not. they started phasing out duel augments in phase 4 and 5, and they didn't mention them at all in the headline, so i expect it to not have duel augments, but sega.

Well January is meh, masquerade carry that months. But for February/march new story (finally), level cap increase, dark falz vael, hunter power up etc etc 🎉
The items need to be gotten by everyone not 1% of the player base. This is the type of content that people stop playing a games over and move on to another. Not everyone has billions of gold to get the best of the best gear and augments. The cosmetic rewards should be on the lower teir and have wep camos for the highest rank.

Masquerade definitely isn’t getting specific duel gear, that would make it pointless. It’s supposed to be a challenge and all other duel augments are really really strong, and make duels sort of a joke. OR we could go the other way, and assume we DO get them. Eventually the handicaps from reaching higher levels of Masq would make earning a new set of gear really pointless. If they added specific duel quest augments for Masq I suppose one could argue we’d all be on the same level, no advantages and such. Granted, most people still wouldn’t farm for a new duel set, cause button pressing is difficult I guess. Bottom line. I think it’s a no brainer we won’t be getting specific duel gear for it. That would either eliminate some of the challenge or the opposite, make the augments pointless after the handicaps from higher Masq levels set in. It also takes away another incentive for people to grind for better gear. I think this will really give people a reason to. Which is nice.

i hope it doesnt need specific duel capsules and just lets us use our normal gear. that would give more incentive to chasing BIS
