Yeah, it's a legal plug n play , so just a few titles , going to be more of novelty. I hope someone hacks it and teaches how to dump lightgun roms and other game roms on it. 😅
I looked at so many videos for the sinden and wanted it. Saw so may user reviews say "because of all the setup mine has just sat there" I bought it. Because of all the setup mine has just sat there 😳 So actual plug and play I'd be down for
I did the same thing. Watched tons of videos and thought "That looks like a pain." Then time went by and I got the itch to play gun games again. Bought a Sinden and now it just sits there because it's a pain. I also hate the big white borders you're forced to use.
Pissed me off the guy had zero intensions of making it work for consoles - thats all I wanted … no hassles just plug it into one of the existing consoles. He was basically ‘supporting’ the continuation of game theft … computer rom use only
I set up my Sinden and it's great but yes a little daunting at first, once it's set up though it really is great and the white border isn't bad, you start to forget it's there.
Right there with you, I fully expected them to replicate most of the light gun games in vr even if simply by using a vr cabinet rather than a fully immersive remake
Same- just want Time Crisis 1-2, maybe 3 and definitely Crisis Zone on the VR. I tried out that cell shaded on rail ninja themed shooter for Quest - because it was supposed to be like Time Crisis, and ended up getting a refund for how boring and janky it felt.
I built my own lightguns, 2 pistols and 2 rifles, based on Gun4ir technology and they work great. This gun limited to Time Crisis and a few others is very limited compared to Gun4ir with its infinite customization possibilities and compatibility with any emulator for a very low price if you build it yourself.
Whoa. I’ll believe this when I see it. Dream come true if it lives up to the hype and if way more games become available, including NES/SNES/Genesis light gun games.
Problem is with these lightguns is that they're very expensive. I use a wii remote coupled with a gun attachment and a Mayflash sensor bar. Works pretty good and at a fraction of the price.
This is the sort of thing that makes me want to get the 1Up cabs, games with controls that you can not do with a controller. Gun games and Paddle games are so hard to play. I hoped more would come about in the Wii and PS3 move time frames, but now consoles are not bothering again.
Sinden and Batocera is what I have on my mini PC and it's great, light gun build is mainly what I got that PC for. Works really well and plenty playable gun games supported. I'd like to keep an eye on this though, could be another solution and if able to add more games or they start releasing other multi-game consoles to follow.. Light gun games are the most fun though

Great video ! I agree - love those light gun games !!! Hard to get that Singen !! Want a plug and play of the Virtua Cop series !! Should have all the Time Crisis games !!! If there are no licensing issues , expect to see more from this company !
I will be buying this at that price. I also have a Sinden that never gets used. Found it too slow in response to be good enough, feels like playing a platformer with lag. The best gun way I have played gun games is in VR with EMU VR.
That looks really cool. Like you said you're buying an arcade 1 up, but you supply the monitor. Who knows, maybe you can hack it and put a bunch of gun games on it. While I'm thinking about it. GAIME... There's AIM in. As in aim a gun. Kinda clever. Loved the video. Can't wait to see what you have next.
Went to it at TGS. They had it set up for people to test out. Didn't get to try it, but we asked the people there and they said more games would be made based on input from people. They also said they want it worldwide.
Right now, I already play all these games on my PS1/PS2 and Saturn with a CRT TV. But I know that's not a viable option for everyone. That being said, I would still buy one of these. I'm a sucker for all-in-one plug and play consoles. If they are done right, they can be really awesome!!!🤩👍
It sounds like it probably has a "camera" or some kind of sensor on the gun itself to see what you're aiming at when you squeeze the trigger. The fact the gun itself is wired is probably to reduce the latency as much as possible. And hey, not just the US... Wouldn't mind having one of these in Europe too!!
Naw, 3 has to be included as well even if it isn't digitized. I would like "Silent Hill" arcade included too as that was a good shame. Americans really missed out on that.

I played Time Crisis on the Playstation. I like where they're going with the tech, but I wish they'd try to include at least two or three of the games.
This gun needs to be compatible with PC though, so that ALL light gun games can be played. I'm not interested in buying a dedicated console to play one game lmao.
I'd want the other namco games from this generation - Point Blank 1 & 2, the other PS1 Time Crisis, and Ghoul Panic. I am so buying this. GLOBAL license!
I thinks it's going to come with several games. TC is the hook I guess, but the G'AIM'E branding makes me think it's going to be more versatile than just actually TC.
I wish for a "Terminator 2: Judgment Day (arcade game)" and house of the dead plug and play light gun games and many more games that uses this kind of format.
Force feed back and light guns have been missing for many years and I don't know why. Specially as theres been a few new on rail shooters released on consoles.
I love my Sinden gun too, the only Time Crisis I don't have working is number 4. Would be interested to know if they have remastered it or threw it through an emulator? I hate sensors too, prefer just the white border.
That's awesome. I just hope Nintendo re-releases the NES Classic and SNES Classic with Duck Hunt and Lethal Enforcers respectively. They need to be re-released in some form.
I do have Sinden lightgun and the pedals…but setting it all up is painful. I should check out those batocera builds, if those are basically ready to go… I love the Sinden on t2 1uparcade

@@ugandahater Yeah he's got a cabinet he set up a few years ago that is in the style of " Carnevil" . I believe he uses Gun4IR on it. It's been a minute since I saw him post any vids on his shooting can though so I can't recall for sure.
I wish SEGA would fire their entire team and hire some people who actually cared about their fanbase and develop a machine that would include all its arcade gun shooters that can easily be played and setup at home. They literally ruled the Arcade scene in the 90's
Matching the camera image from the gun and position on screen seems hard enough that they need to use AI (without it, you get more basic solutions like Sinden).
I think if you watch a few videos of how the Sinden works, then the term AI actually makes sense here. Like others mentioned, the AI portion is to dynamically understand what is your TV (and the game) and what isn't. Sinden uses solid video bars across the edge of your screen and requires calibration. This unit would use AI to determine the borders of your screen dynamically.
Great idea, and I hope it's as good as they say. However, after this long in failure after failure in this specific field of gaming, I'll wait to see the results. The price point isn't the issue, it's the performance that matters most to me. A good product is a good product, and in the lightgun genre, previous modern solutions have been mediocre, at best.
Could it be it’s actually using sinden unless the “ai” can do the same calculations without the white border? Interesting stuff, I’ve been dying to be to get a light gun setup but gun4ir (best tech) is expensive and hard to obtain here in the UK.

Lost me at AI equipped gun controller. What exactly makes it AI? Sounds as bad as AI powered pc case fans or AI thermal paste
What isn’t AI in our technology especially in gaming? All your NPC are AI
Maybe AI wrote the code for them to save them employing a knowledgeable developer 🤔 Or maybe they think it's marketing written by an AI.
If it works well, does it matter if it is AI? I don't care how they solved the problem as long as the problem is solved.
If this can be hacked to run other light gun games I'm all in!
