This is definetly one of the Best versions of this song Ever! I love that Tarja is harmonizing with the choral back vocals troughout the song... those notes are high and her voice sounds really beautiful on that! Too bad there's not a remastered version of this... Thank you anyway! \m/ \m/

The voice made the band IMO. Tarja has such a powerful voice, she brought life to Tuomas's work, not the other way around. A new vocalist is going to be like a sequel to a movie, many times it's a risk avoided.. so, we'll see.

it wasnt disgraceful at all. they had their reasons that resulted in tarja not being in nightwish anymore. dont get me wrong though i love both tarja and anette. they bring thir individual styles to nightwish. my love is for the band as a whole. not just the vocals.

Have to agree. I have nothing against Anette personally - the things that happened in the band before she joined were not her fault! - and I wish her all the best. But my personal opinion is that Tarja is a better singer than she is.

Anette is not as good as Tarja, but she not ruined Nightwish, Tarja did it when she left. Tuomas knows that Anette can´t sing as Tarja and he changed the rhythm and music for matches what Anette can do. I think they should change the band's name, because what they are doing right now is not Nightwish.

But at the same token, rehearsing with the band, weather needed or not, helps bring unity and understanding amidst the members, it makes it so it seems like everyone is equal.
I just saw them in Chicago, and having seen them in Ohio in 2005 with Tarja, and with Annette recently I can say that I REALLY like both. You cannot compare the two! Its totally different now. They do seem to be much happier now and the energy was through the roof at the House of Blues!!! It blew me away!
Tarja, unarguably, brought an unrivaled sound to the band, she WAS good for the band. However she may not have been so good for the people in the band.

Thomas sure knows what he's doing. I heard new demo songs of nightwish, and i can asure you, that they are awesome, like they were!
I feel sorry for Anette but Tarja is just too good to replace with someone else. Nightwish would never be as popular as they are now without her.
