- A boss fight vs Minamoto no Yoshitsune, before tackling other games, with no damage(?). Got hit by something I supposedly dodged.
It's been a while since I havent messed with some Nioh bosses and pushed the gameplay to its limit. Going in with high intensive play for more than 3 minutes can be very exhausting = ='
#Nioh2
Still one of the best designed bosses of any character action game ever released.
Add with his theme and the fight is topnotch
As opposed to the best designed bosses of any character action game never released.
nioh 2 has great mechanistic design but questionable art direction.. wish they didnt have to make him a monster in this boss. i wouldve preffered to fight him in human form
@VVeltanschauung187 agree I think it would've been cool if he started off as human then has a 2nd phase in yokai form
Most ingenious use of the Kappa shell I have ever seen.
On behalf of the internet, welcome back sensei!
I throw that one in for the variety
@@LasttoLoad and I'm here for that haha always a treat to watch a skillful player who learns and makes use of the mechanics in the most ingenious and flashy ways
you got a creative mind my friend. not just kappa, using karasu tengu 3:22 was amazing as well. not to forget burst countering his burst attacks with brute was also on another level
Those high stance attacks to low stance dodges are so smooth.
That part where you do high stance dash attacks at 1:27 isn't exactly complicated, but it looks surprisingly nice when you're doing it three times in a row after dodging each of Yoshitsune's homing blades. Also, holy shit at 1:39. I knew that Kappa's soul core had a block effect when timed right, but I didn't know that it could block attacks with literally no ki loss.
I wanted him to use a different move than the homing blades, but he kind of asked for it.
What does kappa shell do after the initial effect?
That masterful finish!
Its one of my fav finisher!
Very inspiring for us Nioh players 🙏🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
I liked the variety of different moves and cores you used to avoid Yoshi's wake up attack the most. Always fun to watch your content SacredForce, hope you will make more videos before moving onto Wo Long.
I'll see how I can make more. There are few games up to several weeks that is going to have my attention.
bro comeback and shows good stuff
I'll love to. I'll see what I can bring
may I ask, how long you come up with this idea to fight him? I always bring my personal favorite, generalized, for everything without changing much so my style pretty much the same all time
@@su88906 For this one, I had it in mind since last year. I mostly went with dlc1 theme with yokai skill and gs spirit attacks because I find it fitting personally. Then again, you can just do anything you prefer as long as you want to.
First and foremost is self exploration. You will have to remember everything, beside your favorites, that you can possibly do at your disposal (from techs to tools) knowing how everything work along with many ideas that you practiced/tested from personal experience to watching others playing the game. That includes your movesets, gs attack, items and yokai skill to learn how they interact with any situation.
Next, its exploring others. With your options, you can try to experiment which one work against enemy moves and see the result. if you know well what you have, you can already go through your ideas which one work properly and which one doesnt vs any enemy while knowing their moves/AIs.
@@LasttoLoad @Last to Load whoa.. that must have taken a lot of patience. I mostly go melee with jutsu item only, not much for gs skill except when I bring the ones that can stagger or apply ailment. Combos that I still cannot do consistenly are the ones that include juggling and item cancel, grilled potato pc with some fps drop :') . Figuring out moves to respond certain enemy move is a pain tho. It is crazy people manage to get fluid combo mid combat. 👍
Excellent fight my friend! He is definitely one of my favorites.
Yea, he's undoubtedly one of the best boss in Nioh.
Beautifully done.
god this was amazing
Hes back very nice
Awesome fight, and of course: this game is still unbeaten, it's rare to find other games that offer the same variety in playstyles.
phenomenal!
What blows my mind is how you never even come close to running out of Ki. You're consistently keeping it topped up with Pulse Stance Changes.
While flux (ll) plays a major part of ki management, the build I have mainly with Ultimate Skill/Strength and Path of the Gods scroll allows me to freely dodge/block without ki cost.
Bad ass fight, one of my favorite bosses
His playstyle makes the fight possible to be badass
Nice stuff, as usual, Mr. Clean.
Thank you, I clean 2 times a week.
Its funny, how little boy from kyoto became to this
Finally a game with deep combat mechanics :weirdyasuda:
:weirdyasuda:
This is exactly what i use to farm lumicite
No way they made a game with me
Very cool.
Still got it!
It stays with me!
actually there is a great way to knock him off the lamp(whatever it is)
when he sends purity blades(missiles?) on you, you can perfectly block with yata-mirror, and send all this projectiles back, dealing a lot of damage and knocking him down
yea i am aware of this accessory. I just didnt want to use it
kappa build OP
:kappa:
Good game! 🎉
The kappa part hahaha.
Legend 😁
It was fun using/testing it
How does your ki never go down? Don’t have to do anymore pulses?
Amazing fight 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 If you feel 4min exhausting against him, now imagine him on high depths stone+9 :harold:
Truly beautiful fight and awesome ending 🙏🏻
For that, its more of a marathon than a fight.
Where is monki video?
