My top 3 would be a switching of yours.

2nd. PCS
3rd. Prime 1
Sideshow has just been knocking it out of the park this year with everything from customer service, reasonable pricing especially with shipping, and the quality of the statues themselves. I've honestly been astounded. PCS actually has some really affordable and high quality 1/10 scale statues for various video games and comics that I'm getting and I really don't mess with 1/10 typically. Prime 1 has the quality but their prices are flat out unrealistic in the current economy. They'd be bad even in a better economy! 😂 I'm actually in the pop culture retail business and I can't tell you how many high end Prime 1 pieces get massively discounted for retailers to buy at times. I hope they can make a course correction in 2025.
Prime1 has its downsides but their stuff continuously impresses me
Premium Collectible Studios and SSC are my favorite statue companies.
Honorable mention to Hot Toys, Three Zero and Iconiq Studios!
Because they are incredible as well.

Though i am not a collector, mainly due to a financial issue, i have grown to appreciate and follow the content of some (very few)statue collecting channels, yours being one of them. And being a movie and comic fan is difficult not to appreciate the quality and presence of all the statues of favorite films and TV, etc. Perhaps its not that the hobby is dying, maybe sales are not that high or the hype has slowed down a bit in the last couple? years. It surely is open to debate i believe
I'd have to agree with you on most of these. Iron Studios and PCS really came out the gate swinging lately.
Great count down. I’ve always wanted a Prime1 statue but size and price has kept me away! I own a few Iron Studios, there 1/10 scale I have room for! I couldn’t get the X-Men vs Sentinel but boy that set was nice. I have a few on PO. They have so many licenses I have to stay on my toes. But their prices are creeping up slowly. And Sideshow is definitely creeping back! I love that FastBall statute I have it on PO. Will be my first big Statue! I like a few of their Star Wars too. Tweeter statues are nice I like the Joker on chair!! Looks very nice. PCS are definitely looking good to but price is going to be an issue!
Very much agree with this list. A lot of folks sleep on PCS and Iron Studios but they make phenomenal pieces at a fantastic price point.
Sideshow is killing it with the Batman rogues.

Nice Tank! Great list! I do really like Sideshow's customer engagement with regular events and live streams. I think they have the best customer experience out there. No one else does that.
Great list and agree for the most part
QS is still high on my list, but that is mainly due to their 1/4 Iron Man line that I love. Sideshow has definitely brought some interesting pieces the past month, haven't gotten any myself, but I love the cannonball comic piece.
Best has to equal/include, on TIme Delivery. Order backlogs, and no capacity issues must be dealt with immediately. For most, high quality, prices. and superior design are not worth the 3+ year wait. Please, please wake these companies up, Mr. X. They are missing the boat. Waiting for containers to fill up for months is also totally unacceptable. Shipping price gouging is another.
I would put Prime 1 Studios as my number 1, only because it has most of the licenses that I collect but it is ridiculously priced with shipping as you said. My number 2 would be Iron Studios, again very similar licenses but this one is extremely affordable! Great list, it gave me more insight to the statue collecting world.

As someone new to collecting, what are the general thoughts on Weta Workshop sculptures?
I'm in a similar boat as you, all my latest restraints and PO's have been with PCS, particularly their MvC and SF 1/10 line. If I had the space definitely would've PO'd the Turtles coming out of the sewers.

Have you had any experiences with anime focused companies like tsume art or jimei palace? or are you not into resin statues in general? Thanks for the video btw. Very helpful as i am slowly transitioning from figures to statues.
Had some damages with some anime statues, but I never bought direct so hard to speak. Tsume pieces are great. I've had 3-4. Just not enough to make informed decisions I guess

My top 3 is
1) Prime1
2) Sideshow
3) Figurama
Prime1 because of their Berserk statues. Then Sideshow hasn’t released a single statue in the last 2 years that I disliked, and they’re doing amazing things like those perspective bases on the Spider-Man statues, that cool one of Wolverine coming out of the comic, then theyre the best at female portraits, they’re doing amazing stuff. Then Figurama for their anime statues, I want that Claymore statue so bad, I got the 2 busts, but I really want that statue.
Not a statue guy, but I bought my first PCS statue and it wasn’t cheap. I’ll let you know how it comes out when I get it.
I agree with your opinion in some matters but my opinion sideshow was always my favorite the art work the details on the statues are amazing, customer service was always helpful and I was always satisfied with the product I owned over 30 1/4 scale statues. That's my opinion on the matter not saying your wrong just keep it 💯
I agree with you that statue collecting is getting expensive. That’s why the shift in collecting is 3d printing. I’ve order kits, build and paint myself and saved money.
Never had an issue with PCS!
most of my pieces are sideshow or iron studios
but PCS are the company that really got my into these high end statues (and only last year) with their TMNT legends line
Nice countdown list although I sometimes get confused on the distributor/reseller vs the mfg. What's Iron Studios?
IS creates the statues. They do their own distributing but many distributors sell Iron studios as well. Sideshow actually does (Yes another statue maker, distributes for them)
Prime1 is the best for me even though they are expensive. I think you can get a lot of their pieces cheaper when they have their sales.

PCS is doing real well right now.
This was a really interesting list to me. I have life-changing stuff happening soon so trying to be more responsible. For P1 I think their quality is fantastic and only own P1 Venom as my only piece but did preorder SF6 Cammy and a Vergil. They did modern Resident Evil which I don't like, and the other DC/Kaiju/anime licences I'm not interested in. I'd like their EX Spider-Man 2099 but too hard to get for a good price. Sideshow do a lot of great pieces and value for money, also preordered Berserker Wolverine and fastball special. I really like that Red Sonja and Mr Sin too but trying to #restraint. I hate how cliquey their community is and censor talking about other companies... used to be more generous/welcoming. XM do situationally great and only have the black suit Spidey on preorder. Their Scorpion/Hulkbuster are at the top of my grail list but too expensive. I like PCS but a lot of their Streetfighter statues don't seem to sell for cheap here. I bought their Akuma and although I have a MvC theme I skip a lot of SF in general because it's a slippery slope and I want a definitive version(e.g. nobody does Ken Masters doing a Shinryuken). Might pick up Charlie to customise next sale. F4F I have Amaterasu which I like. I wanted to buy Viewtiful Joe during a sale when it was ultra cheap but didn't realise it was limited and hesitated and someone bought the last one. There's a lot of good statue companies but few that really compel me for my interests vs quality vs price. Like I think HMO is great but they don't do many pieces... if they did an Anakaris or BB Hood I'd almost definitely buy. Tbh I'm glad companies aren't really doing what I want atm... trying to save money for the long term.

I almost fell out of my chair when you said sideshow 😂 you always down them. They are stepping it up, though I pre ordered their Mace Windu he looks great, in my opinion.
What do you think on niren studios? I thinking on ordering one of their statues (would be my first in that price range). Previous of their works look great on videos, but this one only has some pictures , which even may be just cgi.

what are your thoughts on Weta Workshop? the Warhammer statue they recently released has so much detail. i think their attention to detail is one of the best in the game.
I think they are hit and miss. I’ve reviewed a few. When they hit… it’s a big hit.
For me 1 is pcs . They really turned it around with the new ownership ...

Sideshow is stepping up their game. I appreciate PCS for their character range. I am loving Iron Studios and LBS lately. Tweeterhead has some amazing pieces but their customer service has not been so great lately.

I'm not bias or stuck to one company. I go with what I am looking for at the moment. If you happen to make a character that I am interested in and it peeks my interest, it doesn't matter what company makes it as long as the price and availability is right. For that reason Sideshow has moved up to number one in my opinion but I am not bound to them. If any company wants me to buy from them then make it available to me at the right moment and circumstance.

For me personally I always gotta go Prime 1 #1 ECC #2 and kind of torn between XM and PCS now for my number #3, based mostly off how much I have invested into the company besides ECC, still have yet to secure one of their pieces I want because the crack heads in secondary want 10k for a rosenberg bust lol.

Prime 1 is always a solid choice but PCS is making some massive headway with what they're doing! Shipping cost is always going to kill, over 300 on my prime 1 rogue alien!
the new kid on the block…and they are punching beyond their weight …Legendary Beast Studios….owner has a collector’s mind….very involved hands on in art direction….the most approachable and open to collectors’ ideas …they shud be up there on the list
They haven’t put any solo statues out yet. You can’t be a top ten company when you haven’t produced anything on your own yet

Sideshow has really impressed me.
In terms of the JND studio, I was shocked at the kind of faces they turned out when I saw Mera from Aquaman, but then I saw Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavil's Superman, which turned out terrible. I don't know what's going on with them, but the similarity of the actors' faces on their statues is very inconsistent.
I think P1 did better with Cavill with Polystone which is crazy
On the economical side - Kotobukiya has some top notch statues as well. 👍

To me, Sideshow has become the best statue company. Since late last year, they have stepped up their game in a huge way.

Prime1 have their flaws but they make the best statues for the licenses I like. Most of my statues are P1. Seems recently their prices seems to be comming down. Their guts + casca dio is $1899. Which a year ago would easily be 2k+.
I was pleasantly surprised by the price for sure.

SideShow and Tweeterhead have really attempted to keep the costs down and at the same time have up’d their quality which is really impressive. My biggest complaint is where the hell is LBS?!? They have been killing it and 2025 will be the year they blow away the other companies and pass P1S as the best quality studio.
LBS has been killing it? LBS hasn’t released any statues. They have some teasers but that’s it.

Think iron studios and pcs have the best licences. Iron studios I am a fan of their concepts, licences and 1/10 scale lines. But the quality (paint) is poor and some pieces are far too expensive for what they're.
Pcs is dojng really well, the odd paint issue, but they're fixing things. Plus their communication from ant is great (always get behind that). Prime 1, last four statues I've had, 3 had terrible QC issues. So I am put off with them. Ecc I do love also, but not cheap.

PCS's latest, Darth Maul, seems over priced. Hopefully they're not going in P1's direction with pricing. I rank P1 lower bc of over pricing and bad customer service.

Meeeeh I've been collecting for 3 years so not long enough but pcs would be my worst company of all known for making x edition size of a statue and then xx AP size of the same statue what a doddgy company. Also their paint app is the worst.

I'm pretty disappointed in Prime1Studios. I bought the Sam Porter Bridges 1/2 scale statue and many of the accessories felt cheap, the leather strap for the boots was literally peeling away as I'm trying to thread it through the backpack, and when I tried to tie the dream catcher to the backpack, the suede string literally disintegrated. The strap for the bridge baby was attached poorly such that you couldn't put the hook in his hand and I had to rip apart the thread and re-sow it so that it was long enough to go through his hand. Also scanner head did not fit properly because the stem was attached at the wrong angle for the hole, and their reply was well we can't see into the 1mm hole in the slot you're talking about and so we can't help you. Poor quality and poor customer service, personally I will not buy from them again.
