I got a small lawn mower battery that I will use for welding tabs onto lithium cells using a momtary button hooked into an solenoid would it be ok to leave a small hot wheels gel cell charger on the battery to keep it topped off and while using can I put a 2 amp or 10 amp charger on it to keep it charged up the current of my welding within the cranking amps of the battery so not worried their yes its flooded but with a slow charge it should not gas but while doing actual welding a faster charge would be ideal

On an ezgo rxv do I need to take a wire from the old charger plug and run to the positive bus bar for the eagle set up. Thank you for the help.

I just bought the BigBattery EAGL 2 battery kit, I have not installed them yet. It was supposed to come with a 17 amp charger, but they sent me a 14 amp charger with the sticker for a 17 amp charger, and now they wont respond to any of my emails and I have not been able to get through on the phone. At this time I can not support BigBattery.

gibve them time and shoot them an email, the support team is small and probably overworked. You very much want the higher amp charger, we have seen issues with lower amp models

@@DeepcyclebatterystoreSanDiego BigBattery finally offered me $30 refund, but then changed their mind. BatteryEvo told me that their yellow 58 volt charger is only a 14 amp charger, the 17 amp charger is black. I sent BigBattery a picture of the yellow charger I recieved with the sticker partially off. They now want me to pay to send the charger back and then they will send me a 48 volt charger. Things are still up in the air and I can not be without a charger for weeks.

What year Tomberlin golf cart? I have a 2010 that has 86 V batteries. I talked to Tom Berlin and they said I would have to switch over the computer, wiring harness, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but it looks like your install system was plugged and play. Almost. did you install four lithium batteries so you would get 50 mile range? I only drive 2 to 3 miles a couple times a week so I was recommended the two batteries system. I have a factory controller, so I’m guessing we have the same one not sure if it’s adjustable or not.

I had the same question. I'm looking to upgrade my '09 Tomberlin. Have you done any more discovery Chris? The tricky thing on these older Tomberlins is finding someone who can update the controller (if that is, indeed, needed). All of the stuff online that I'm seeing makes it look easy and that there aren't major mods needed to make this work, but they also all seem to be sponsored by the battery companies.

@@laverma1 from talking to direct Tomberlin you can’t upgrade their computer and I saw a video of somebody that did it in San Diego. Got a hold of them and they said they tried it. They put the battery in but they could not upgrade the Curtis computer they’re looking for a workaround.

Have you done any Novitas controler install on a tomberland e merge 48ss, using existing motor?

Ok I have been looking into a lithium upgrade to my 2018 Tomberlin SS Coupe 48 v, with 8, 6v T105 Trojan batteries. My biggest issue so far is every lithium manufacturer has told me the max controller wattage is 400! The Tomberlin uses a 450watt controller! So how did you address that? I would love to use the 3, 48v Big Battery combo as I don’t need over 30-35 miles of range, I’m just tired of replacing lead acid batteries every 3-4 years.
