My wife was baptized during the Paschal Vigil and Mass this past Holy Saturday. I served Mass as a young man in the 60s. It has been many years since I have attended Mass, until I found the SSPX I thought the church was lost. It really is being corrupted from within, I am so glad to find this church so that I could once again receive the sacraments.

I was confirmed on Saturday too. My husband was baptized and confirmed. Both my kids did first communion. Daughter also baptized. I was raised by my catholic paternal grandmother and I’m sure for me for years. I am 46 but I’m glad I am now confirmed in Christ. ❤

Saying a prayer for you and your family, we also started listening to a lot of negative media regarding the Church leadership and began attending first an FSSP mass and then SSPX until, by the grace of God, he showed us that we were really seeking our own comfort and not willing to suffer with Christ in unity with His Bride, the Church. We also learned that many of those media sources were wrong about the Pope and were feeding pride and much slander against the Lord's chosen leaders. The greater comfort now, is to be in union with Him and with our brothers and sisters in Christ here and around the world! blessings

Thank you, Lila! I liked your Fr. Ambrose Christe Halloween episode where he explained how ghosts could be demons or souls seeking prayers for help, and Fr. Ambrose explaining asking for saints' intercession to our Lord Jesus, with Him being the one mediator, and everything flows through Him. Jesus being the center of all things, and in Him, all things came to be. There is instrumental causality that God loves to use amongst His created universe. The power of intercessory prayer, and the power of the intercession of the saints is about that.
Jesus Christ is the mediator, and our Blessed Mother Mary leads us to Him. She prays for us on our way to Him.
Jesus Christ is the fountain of the life giving waters, and our Lady is the aqueduct through which He comes.
Hebrew 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the leader and perfecter of faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him he endured the cross, despising its shame, and has taken his seat at the right of the throne of God.
James 5:16-17 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain upon the land.
Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the earth produced its fruit.
And I appreciated what you said, Lila, that the thing that is comforting about Hell is that we have to choose it in order to go there. We have to deliberately choose to not be on the side of Jesus Christ and His Church.
We shouldn't stop praying for our beloved dead because we don't know where they are. Just because someone was a "good person", it doesn't mean he or she is sanctified.
We can say we hope our loved ones are in Heaven.
We can say they're in the hands of Almighty God.
They are in the hands of Jesus Christ.
They are with Jesus in a sense they are with His plan for them.
And every soul who is in Purgatory is going to be in Heaven when the time of purification is over, so they are with God which might mean they're still in Purgatory undergoing their purification or rejoicing with the Angels and Saints on High.
    Praying for everyone! Happy Easter!

John 6:53-59 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.”
These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.
God loves us far more than we love ourselves. Hope you have a light-filled peaceful joyful week!

Oh praise the Son who raised up from the dead. Oh praise Him, for He is in glory interceding for us fallen saints.
Oh praise Him for He alone is worthy to bring broken saints home.
He and He alone is worthy. He and He alone is honorable. He and He alone iz true. He and He alone is just.
He and alone carried the cross.

This pastor or priest is in a rude awakening if he thinks celebrating is going to please the Lord. Matthew 5:17 we are to celebrate all of the old testament feast including passover. All who don't are willfully sinning and the day he comes back he will destroy all who don't fully repent.

    • @Squidwardsangryface
      @Squidwardsangryface 2 місяці тому +4

This is what it actually says: Matthew 5 : 17
"Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them."
This is clearly referring to the laws of the old testament. He also makes it clear that he is not discrediting the prophets.
Jesus is making sure that people understand that he is coming to add to the rules and not remove the old ones. Jesus also makes it clear that he is the messiah the Jewish Tanakh talks about.
This is why it's important to ask God for understanding while reading the Bible, because people can easily misinterpret it.

    • @TheMarineCorp1775
      @TheMarineCorp1775 2 місяці тому

@@Squidwardsangryface sorry but you have it backwards. Jesus celebrated all the old testament laws since he is the Word and the word is him. So by him celebrating passover so should we. Like I said before we are here to copy his ways.

@@GodSoLoved.Yeshua it's not about earning, it's about being obedient to him out of love since he created the laws and failure to do so will be death if we don't follow him, what happens when we turn away from him when it's too late?
