    No Mark. The truth is you paid a fortune for shit players & gave them ridiculous wages. The club is also £800 million in debt. Your stadium roof looks like Swiss cheese, the stadium security think they work for the Krays, the stadium plumbing has bi-polar disorder & now it’s been invaded by an army of field mice. The best thing that could happen is you get relegated, get rid of these owners & incompetent players + get a new owner in who’ll pay off the debts & fix the stadium. Then you can rebuild. But trust me, to do it properly will take about 5 years.

      Five years??? To fix what you say will be around £1,5 Billion at a minimum and to do that in 5 years takes more than a miracle. You would also have to cheat in as many ways as you possibly could get away with. And to get new owners is not as easy as you think. The current owners want a profit for a sale. Meaning a new owner have to overpay. Then you believe they come in with a wand, cast some spells and 1B appears to pay off players that need to go and for new players to come in. This isn't FM with an editor, this is IRL och the fact of the matter is ManU are deep in the shite. It's turned into ManUre.

    liverpool fan here, what I dont understand is why amorim was brought into the club with a distinct standard of football with players who arent up for it, if they are gonna ban him from making signings, it really brings to light the incompetence of the owners and how much they are willing to scape goat ten hagg not saying he didnt need to be sacked but there was an underlined problem at the club and sacking the manager only touched the surface, the decision seem to be like a way to calm down angry fans rather than to actually better the club.

  • @bmjames
    @bmjames 2 дні тому +2

    Hit the nail on the head by identifying the lack of football IQ running through the club. For years your club relied so much on Sir Alex for its culture and football IQ, that in an era when other clubs were building more modern staff structures that were less reliant on a single genius head coach, Man Utd lagged behind out of respect for Sir Alex. When he left, the club found itself ill equipped for the modern game and the decline was inevitable, only slowed or temporarily disguised by continually spending money on new signings and managers.

      Nah. The fanbase is so splitted as it is. Nobody is organising anything. Can't blame fans from stepping away for the sake of their own mental health sake. Can't stand this agenda, that fans owe the club anything. It's the other way around - the club is nothing without the fans, and the club owe the fans everything. If someone wants to step away for a while because they can't stand more of the Glazers running the club into the ground and INEOS cutting charities, good on them. That doesn't make them any less fans.

    Week in and week out United never fail to deliver their brand of high/low energy entertainment. Each time they skip and prance out onto the field surely deserves a thunderous applause, a few chants and a loud song from the terraces. At the end of the game (when the curtain is brought down) we are so often overcome with gladness (and tears) that we also wonder why is it not that these brave eleven souls haven't at least earned an Oscar and movie contract? It wasn’t until Usmanov left that we started seeing results, the Kroenkes could finally take action and didn’t have to go into battle with someone else on every decision. The Glazers need to be 100% out before United make real progress, facts.

    I'm no Man United fan so I feel I got a 'fair and impartial' view on this; Amorim isn't the right guy for this job. He's not a good 'problem solver' coach. He is a coach like Slot who has a clear identity, playing style and whatnot. Maybe not as intelligent as Slot but you get the idea, a ''project'' manager type of guy.
    But for that to work you need clear vision from above. A plan. Slot came into Feyenoord with a bad bunch of players like Amorim at United, but the vision of the club was clear, and he made it work. Slot came into Liverpool where the club has had a steady vision for years and sturdy foundations, thus he makes it work.
    You need someone who gets their hands dirty, plays to the capacity of the players rather than making the players do something he wants but they cannot. United should have just stuck with Van Nistelrooy til summer. Now they wasted even more money than they had to on an incompatible coach.

  • @Robert.Sheard

    @jeromeportier4914 День тому

    I’m sorry but that’s complete bs. The sad state of the club is obviously not Amorim’s fault, but the recent slump 100% is. His job as a manager is not pick a different style of play, then expect £300 million to get the best suited players for this style of play. That’s not how it works. He should try and find the style that suits best the personnel he has got, then over time try and get them ready to play his style, or find players than can. But make the switch progressively as the players learn. You can’t force a new style of play overnight on a group of players, then raise your hands to the sky when it does not work.
    No matter how limited we think some of those players are, you’re not going to make me believe they’re so bad you cannot find a way to make them win enough games to finish 7th or 8th. They’re not Man City or Liverpool level of players, but they were all decent players in their respective clubs. And they all end up playing better under coaches that are not so entitled.
    And that talk of "Mazraoui and Dalot can’t play wingbacks" is bs too. What? We’re not talking about making astrophysicists out of them. You think they’re too thick to learn some different football tactics? Because they have enough pace and strength to make at least decent wingbacks…
