I miss having a camera button on a phone. Apples implementation actually looked kind of promising in the promo footage, such a shame if it actually sucks in real-life use.

And iPhone 16 colors are actually decent compared to last year's shitty colors on the base 15. Other thant that, there's not much worth getting on iPhone 16. Oh and more thing, 60hz refresh rate on a 800$ "flagship" phone 😂
From what I have seen the A18 Pro in the 16Pro Max gives astonishing gaming performance for a non specialist gaming phone. Worth noting for any gamers out there.
That's the problem, apple cares about the iPhone pro/pro max customers much more than the base iPhone 16/plus customers. Even the pro models has better colors than the non pros.
The light issue is "lens flare" caused by the kind of glass used by iPhone's cameras. It essentially doubles the lights present on scene, and they're very visible on the recording. Some other companies struggle with it too- but never to this extend.
It's the bright light passing through lens cover, then bouncing off the actual camera lens back on to the inside of the lens cover and back into the lens again. Drives me nuts having green aliens spaceships in my videos. They claim to have 'improved' it over previous versions, but its still there. It actually appears in the photos as well, but as its not wiggling around you can't see it and the software can remove/hide it as its only one one frame, not 25 - 60 frames a second. Long story short Ip12 below -> upgrade Ip13 up -> don't upgrade Also 60hz is not bad especially if the system is optimized for it, what's not good is the price they charge for it. Most of the people upgrading to the 16 would probably be on telco plans and won't be bothered by the pricing tho.
60htz does preserve battery life, and I think many reviewers leave that part out. If I had a 120htz option, I would likely only turn it on for gaming to preserve battery.

I think the base 16 model is the one with the lowest risk of getting stolen because of that. The cameras on the 16 are placed in a way many android phones are placed too, so its not as easy to see that its an iPhone based on the backside.
ok so i need help, i have an iphone 13 pro it’s not that old right? but its in BAD condition like real bad, the camera is fake because i needed to fix it, it broke while i was hiking😢 the back screen is shattered like really shattered the front screen is broken from the top and in the middle, the speaker is kinda ruined and i’ve also token this to a phone shop and they just ruined it even more😅 this can get fixed but it would be super expensive and with this money i can get a new phone, so should i get an iphone 15 instead of the 16 because it’s not that much of a difference and i like the colors and style of the 15.

The camera button is just dumb. As a professional photographer, I just can't with that. Also, as a photographer, higher contrast is not a selling point for me. It literally screams "This is a cell phone shot!" Lol. I do like how it handles low light and sunny situations. I hate how the back of the phone looks. The verticle camera layout coupled with the intense color makes the iphone look cheap to me. I love my more muted iphone 15 in pink. It's fun while not looking like a phone for a teen. But those are just personal preference things. For me, the promise of AI doesn't make it worth the upgrade, especially since my iPad pro, which I will use more for writing and photo editing and work, will get it. I simply think it's more useful on that device, with the one exception of siri upgrades. I will probably wait for a future release and redesign. Just not a big enough upgrade for me, plus, in an iPhone in particular, the asthetic actually is important to me, and I just think the 16 base models are ugly. I do like the pro models though. I'm looking forward to next year's design.

Tombol kamera hanya malah menambah kerepotan mengambil gambar. Apalagi, tidak menambah kualitas hasil foto. Juga, terlalu banyak tombol di telpon genggam.
The Teal is my favourite colour this year. My wife and i want to move to iPhone this year after a few years on Android but we cannot afford the 16 so we're looking at the 13 which should still be good for at least another 3 years.
If you guys want to know my tips, iPhone 16 is worth an upgrade if you really are into Apple Intelligence and camera hues are really better. Plus 15 base all have bad battery life span reported. Other than that, there’s no reason to upgrade imo. Camera button is nothing but a gimmick, you’re far better off without it. Plus every time you’ll risk damaging your thumbprints sliding 😂😂😂

Yep. For me, it would have been at least 90htz, give it a titanium casing, and drop the absolutely useless camera button.
