- Today we have another taste test and this time its whipped honey!
With the power out we had some honey start to crystalize, but here is a great way to utilize it to make something amazing!

Your whipped honey looks delicious. That's what I would go for, just the plain whipped honey. I never knew you could whip honey. I'm always learning something from you Steph in the kitchen cooking or whipping honey etc. Thankyou and I'm so happy your power is back on. I bought whipped honey several years ago and was told by the Amish it has no expiration date or time
I think that's why the old folks before electricity would put everything below ground in "root cellars". I love whipped honey, personally. My favorite though is whipped butter honey with a touch of cinnamon or nutmeg - goes great on anything and everything.
@tammyfrey956 real honey from the bees don't expire. When they found honey in the pyramids they discovered honey and it was still good. My husband works for USDA, and he said that when it is pure honey with nothing added to it, it is always good. That is the biggest problem with supermarket bought honey. I try to get pure honey from local farmers because of this plus it helps with seasonal allergies, better than the shots from the doctor.

It used to be sold at Cracker Barrel & I get it at Farmers Markets & some specialty stores. Those cute little jars with wooden lids/spoons can be found at Target & World Market. Whenever my grandmother was making things that needed stirred or whipped until thickened, she would always tell everyone in the house at the time to get their beatin' arms ready, and everybody took turns beating it, until our arms hurt... Good exercise. Lol

That whipped honey looks SO GOOD! So I bought a wellness honey from a small business I support and think this is what I need to do to that honey so I enjoy eating it instead of needing a beverage to mix with! It has lots of tumeric, cinnamon, and lemon wedges in it.

Stephanie! I love honey! This was so much fun to watch. I love bees too. At our local honey bee store, we found honey flavored with a bit of lemon rind. It was exceptionally good on well buttered English muffins, especially the ones with lots of nooks and crannies. Love watching your posts. Buddy? Your a wee bit crazy sometimes and I love it! For chrystalized honey you just set the jars in the sun. Solar power safely melt back to a liquid 😊It will keep all the organisms alive that make raw honey better. Something I learned. I think from Cog Hill farms Brooke's video. 😊 🐝🍯

Good morning Steph. I missed your how to videos. Love watching these. I am going to try this and maybe do some hot honey. A little spicy honey on a biscuit or toast with sausage and eggs for breakfast? Who could say no. So glad you are moving back to normal. It may take a bit but you and Buddy together with support from the Morrow clan, will get there. Everyone's garden is kind of sad this year, even here in Wisconsin.
