- Join us as we prepare for the Morrow Hill Thanksgiving! This year I am bringing creamed corn, deviled eggs, cowboy candy, and pecan pie!
Today I will show you how I make my creamed corn and deviled eggs, plus a bonus tip of whipping up your own homemade mayonnaise!

I am thankful that I found another job after being cut back from my original job of 34 yrs. I need to keep working for now. I also am thankful for my health and what family I have left.

I'm most Thankful for my family and friends
Thankful for everyone in my life and for my health and home.
My health isn’t great but I wake up each morning and that I am very thankful for,but the love of my sons their chosen partners ,my grandchildren and my adorable great granddaughters are the reason I am most thankful,…after finding Ima Survivor Sanctuary over two years ago and consequently finding the rest of the morrow family ,I get to enjoy every day in the company of terrific people…I know every day I have left in me is going to be filled with fun ,laughter ,and love…don’t misunderstand what I’m saying I am not in the greatest of health but I am not ill,I am just grateful for every day ..and thankful to be able to spend some of each day in amazing company.

Stefanie I'm so grateful for having another Christmas to enjoy with my family. Two Christmas' ago I was just getting out of the hospital on oxygen with Covid. Last Christmas I was still unemployed because I was having long haul symptoms. Christmas time didn't seem as great. This year I am feeling the spirit and the long haul symptoms are slowly going away. I still have bad "flare-ups" with GI issues, extreme fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, hard to catch my breath and depression.
I have a 15 year old son that is from my second marriage and 5 children from my previous marriage that have blessed me with 10 grandchildren so far. I'm most grateful for my family.
I’m thankful for my dog Bella. She has been by my side thru cancer surgeries and two rounds of chemo. She and I had a peaceful day.

I'm thankful that they found my husbands cancer & were able to remove the mass. He completed his first round of chemo the day before Thanksgiving & tolerated it fairly well. I'm also thankful for his amazing medical team.

I tap my egg on the round end with a spoon. You will hear a pop. You may have to do it several times. Cook egg as usual. Run under cold water. Then you can peel. Tapping on the egg will pop the membrane in the egg..Thank you for the cream corn recipe. I love cream corn over my mashed potatoes.

I'm 85, and my husband passed away last October, so it's my second year without him, last year was very hard, and this year my son's recovering from an infection in his leg from hip replacement surgery.,I'm most grateful for my neighbors who thought of me and 1 neighbor brought me Thanksgiving supper, and the neighbor on the other side brought me supper, and we all ate the next nite, I enjoyed myself so much, and my son was grateful I wasn't alone😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That was a delicious episode! We make our deviled eggs with Miracle Whip and mustard added to the egg yolks and sprinkle paprika on the top. Salt and pepper are added by the eater. 🥰❤

A little over a year ago, right before Hurricane Ian, at age 69 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then I have. Survived the hurricane, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. December 4 is my last treatment and I will be cancer free. I am grateful for the love, support and prayers of family and friends. I couldn’t have gotten through without them. Shoulda used that very nice instant pot behind you for those eggs. 5 min high pressure, 5 min natural release and 5 min in an ice bath. Easy peasy peeling!

I’m thankful my husband is in remission from his cancer this holiday season. I’m also thankful my mother of 92 year’s young is in good health and we are able to spend the holidays with her.
I’m thankful that god helped me get through another holiday without my husband. I lost him last May to Cancer. I’m also thankful to family. Family is so important to me.
I am so thankful for a couple who opens up their home during the holidays for celebrations that include my boyfriend and me. I am thankful that my boyfriend likes to cook and brings a rib-in roast to my friends' home. I am grateful for finding new people who recognize and appreciate my efforts. Of course, I am grateful for having a career, a nice income from that career, and a home that I can own. I am impressed by the families that live on Morrow Hill and off the hill. It is incredible how many generations are comfortable sharing on camera.

I’m having trouble with my knees and shoulders. I’m thankful I found UA-cam videos during Covid. It makes my day. Laughing and crying. Dysfunctional family growing up. Not real close with the family. Sad to say I don’t miss the parents that passed. Likewise I don’t miss my brother. I miss what other people have.

I have an immersion blender so that will make it easier on me. It’s only me so I will cut the recipe way down to one small bag of frozen corn and also have severe crock pots so I can use it and me immersion blender, I love creamed corn can’t wait to make it. Thankful for my 2 sisters. I couldn’t make it without there sister.
I thankful for is my parents are still alive. Dad is 81 mom is 80. I'm currently their caretaker. I cook all the meals get them ready for their day. My moms health is failing band needs the care. I was a caregiver. But had to quit my job to take care of them. Dad has a prosthetic leg. He is currently in a powered wheelchair. They both need assistance. I'm happy that I'm able to care for them. very thankful for our love of our jesus. God Bless you and your family

Year other mother has been in the hospital three times this year for extended times. She was going down cognitively, as well. Truthfully, we were ready to write her obituary. Out of nowhere, she decided together better. She even baked as our cream cake and a lemon pie...and mac and cheese for Thanksgiving. She was really tired, but she did it. We all know this could be her last Thanksgiving, so we are extra thankful she's doing okay. My brother isn't well, but he pushed through to smoke the turkey and help his wife prepare the rest of the meals. We are truly blessed. Savannah, GA.
On November 1st, our beautiful 33 year old daughter died unexpectedly. So what am I thankful for this Thanksgiving is being surrounded by other my children providing to me strength and comfort to get through this difficult time.

I love deviled eggs, but the only holiday I make them for is Easter. I also like creamed corn, but no one else in my family does, so I don’t bother making it.

I live alone with no family close by. The closest family is my niece who lives 60 miles away. I am thankful my Niece and her family include me in their family holidays. I am so thankful for them and their love.❤

I'm thankful for several things.
As a retirement aged farm lady that had been trying to get healthy I finally found a easy program and lost 85lbs in 8 months and my knees and low back feels amazing and my heart doctor is so amazed on how I did. I'm also blessed to being able to do for myself yet. Blessed for my family and grandkids and friends ❤️

Stephanie. When your done boiling your eggs. When the are cool enough to touch. Take a spoon and tap the pointed end of the egg you will hear a pop. It makes it a lot easier to peel
My grandson is autistic and non verbal but recently he started using words and my granddaughter was told no heart surgery needed her heart healed,Praise God ❤❤..
