I had a SA Prodigy as my first “2011” and it was complete trash Sent it back to SA twice and it still didn’t work and they bought it back. Bc of the customer service I will be a SA customer again (my St Victor has been flawless) Then I got a Bul Armory SAS Tac 2 - it’s amazing. Sent off of DLC coating in the slide and crowned, flush cut barrel I ordered a Jacob Grey TWC -9 that hasn’t arrived Also ordered a Staccato P - lifetime warranty, THE 2011, etc. Once you get a 9mm 2011 you don’t really shoot the traditional guns anymore
I recently just bought a prodigy and I can confirm they haven’t completely fixed the gun. I was having failure to feed and weak extraction issues. It’s currently at SFA being fixed. However, after 250 rounds I love shooting this gun. Can’t wait to get it back.
Is anyone having issues with their AOS plate? I spent $130 plus $20 2 day shipping. The plate wont stay tight to the slide. And yes ive done all the correct spec torque and loctite. And the rear sight on the actual plate itself started drifting to the point i could slide it back and forth with my hand. Sent it back to springfield only to be told 3-6 weeks just to get a plate.
Yes but I can say that a year later after 1000s of rounds. And I would tell you that you could trust it too but to just RUN IT for a good amount of time bro hollow point, FMJ, everything make sure it doesn't have issues
@@luccib7225 for $400 more I’ll def pay for the reliability and consistency of the sas tac. Putting my life on the line and I have to worry about the prodigy maybe having issues isn’t it. I have my eyes on the sas and the platypus. I just shot the platypus and that thing is nice. Too bad it’s a 7-12 week wait…also looking at the shadow system CR920p and the Mr920p.
Man I used to watch you in HS for the kicks… watching this 2A journey is amazing! Love your content Brodie
What I have learned in this firearms game is never get a gen 1 anything. Gen 2 or even 3 will usually have all the gremlins worked out.
I learned that the hard way also
Let someone else be beta testers

Ewwww 😬 sorry, it's actually the Bul Armory SAS Tac 2
If you can get your hands on one lol. They can’t keep up with their demands.

You should definitely go to a range that rents out the staccato and compare it to your prodigy!! I would be curious to hear the results!
I never had to send my Staccato C2 back to the manufacturer.
Do you trust it enough to carry?

3:10 don’t disrespect staccato lol
bro house got a room for every hobby man living like a king in a castle
Im definitely looking at Staccato. The new C looks like it could be the one
I’ve been too, but I got a Jacob Grey coming in and from what I keep hearing bro it is “better” so we gonna see
"entry level" the Apollo 11 compact more reliable and returns to zero better than prodigy

@@2WildGuns atta boy! I will check in and see how it does for you
The video I was looking 👀 for.

Nice gun but is IT better than shadow 2 compact ?
I would say nah, but its like apples and oranges to me even though the CZ is somewhat a 1911 in ways
