- YOU GUYS!!!! This new Hoyt Torrex is a shooter for sure!! I wasnt expecting what results I got at all!! I am impressed to say the least! Wasnt super excited to take the time to shoot it and I am so glad that I did! Hoyt for sure pulled off an incredible lower priced bow!

I'm a first time compound bow archer and bought this bow. It's a silent beast bow, I own a excalbur crossbow and was so used to it bc I can shoot a asshole outta a skunk at 60 yards away bc it's got a scope I guess. But now I'm learning using the pin sight and I'm getting really good! Plus it's a good workout pulling back 70lbs every shot, I had to get the hang of using a wrist release witch was different but pretty cool. Rock on fellow archers
Upgraded from my Bear Cruzer to the Torrex XT and it was like night and day. My Bear served me well but being able to get into a Hoyt for under a G was surprising and one of the best bows I’ve ever shot, especially for the price.

Really. I’m in the exact same situation and am looking at the Torrex. I was worried I wouldn’t see enough of a difference, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Going into my second season with the torrex. My son has the bear cruzer. It’s still an excellent bow as well! 🤙🏽
Could you do a comparison between the mission MXR and the Torrex?
Love this bow! Arrowed a bull this year with it! Complete pass through double lung at 53 yards with Easton axis long range and grim reaper broad heads pro series 👍🏽💯🏹🥩

So i just bought my first bow the other day and it was this very bow, the Hyot Torrex. I am pretty damn happy with it. I haven't been able to use it nearly as much as i would have liked. Super excited still to get to use it more though and just fine tune my form and get better. Really appreciate this review, Helped direct me to making a good choice

Big help. Appreciate the honest perspective. I am looking seriously at this bow for 2022. I am limited on how much I can spend. So this is looking great.
I have been shooting my Torrex for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! My only issue is with the rest, no matter what I do I am getting slight fletching contact with the launcher. I have tried adjusting the timing on it as much as possible but I am still seeing some marks on the vanes, It might be the rest bouncing back up. It doesn't seem to be effecting accuracy at all and I never planned on sticking with the hunter rest long term
I was having the same issue with cable driven rests on mine, went from a trophy taker to a QAD HDX, and fixed it with a hamskea trinity limb driven.
You know how light, smooth and easy to shoot it is, do yourself a favor and put some premium stuff on it, reallocate the savings into making yourself the perfect rig.
Love my Torrex. Traded my VXR 28 in to get it. Loved the Hoyt Powermax, love the Torrex even more!

@@HaxenHunt My only problem is finding an arrow that I like to shoot with it. My local shop recommenced the Easton aftermath 400 for the bow set at 55lbs. I cut them a little long at 29.75" and I don't like them as much as I liked the Easton under armor ones for in my bear cruser g2 65 lbs. They just feel less consistent than my old arrows.
I'm getting better speeds out of the new bow btw at less pounds.

@@sgtsavage4991 Night and day, Remeber the G2 is a (cad $) 250 on sale while the torrex is @1000 before taxes. The grip alone is reason to spend the extra money. G2 has crazy hand shock in comparison so right away you'll be more accurate. I have mine set up with a front and rear stabilizer and I had to get lighted knocks so that I wouldn't accidentally Robbin hood my arrows at 50 yards. The g2 is a nightmare to tune tbh and if you can get it to stay tuned your better at it then I am. The Torrex on the other hand is so easy to tune it's a dream. You should just shoot one an you'll see how much better it is.

Is the noise during draw from the arrow & rest? I wasn’t getting such noise today when I tested one.
I went and shot this bow, loved everything about it besides when it falls into the valley. It just drops in pretty harshly it felt. I’m new to bows my current bow is a 1991 golden eagle lol. Maybe this is normal? What’s your thoughts on that
Bro that’s prolly exactly what I have, I bought a old ass golden eagle off a co worker to get into it, now I’m ready to upgrade. Now I don’t feel so ashamed knowing I’m not the only one 🤣❤️

Got the torrex xt a few weeks ago it's pretty solid.
I just got the torrex xt last week.. i was trying to register It but i can’t find the serial number.. do you know where It is?
@@josedodgedon1347 look on the underside of the limbs. You should see some sort of spec sticker and on the other is the bow info including sn.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t see a hug jump in Hoyt from the powermax to the helix or even axius, maybe just a better draw cycle. But for the money it was a great deal. If anyone is in the market for an economic/starter bow. This could be a winner.
