I just toss my cardboard boxes to my pup Marley, he loves to break em down, he sees an empty box laying on the floor he snatches it and runs amok in the yard with it, growlin and swinging the box till it falls apart. Lol but yes i dig my hedgehog for box breakdowns when Marley isn't around.
I have had many. I keep on going back to my Mossy Oak folding liner lock blade. Still are on Amazon around $12 with 15% off for TWO! It has performed for years.
Hey, thanks for the video. Got the nuknives, regular blades are working fine on mine. Also you don't need to unscrew the bottom screw. If it is stuck after removing the top wheel, just push a bit the blade to the side and it will be easily removed.
Fastback FTW for serious work. $20 and stupid fidgety. I keep an Olight Otacle in my light carry so I won't use a fancy knife for a dirty job. Mostly, I use one of my three knives. I'm with you on the Hedgehog.
That NuKnife looks very nice. The TiRant Razer V3 is my EDC that is perfect size for my fifth pocket. It's a great flipper, no tools needed to change out the blade.
@@Rollshambo Been carrying a TiRant Razer V3 for two years straight now. It's a great little knife. It has some problems but it is the best flipper utility knife. I'm huge on utility knives, my absolute fav style of blade change is home depot brand, husky. Nothing beats there open window design. But they are made so cheap I no longer carry them.
I originally got a TiRant to hold me over till a Hawk Shortcut dropped again and still keep it in the rotation. after the little prybar upgrade I’ve actually found it to be more useful than the Shortcut. but the Shortcut fidget is on a whole different level lol
The hedgehog lives in my 5th pocket frequently because of how dang good it is at the slicey slicey for simple tasks, and because it's there my main pocket is free for something more serious in case I need a more robust pry-errr "cutting tool"😂🍻
Well for those that only use them for box cutting that's one thing. But when you use them in construction they are going to get glue, silicone, paint mud etc all over them. Also sometimes falling into a hole that is difficult to retrieve it from. So for me basic is better because it needs to be replaceable without pain to the wallet.
Hey man, huge fan here, so about that kumpanter, it is not built well. The liner lock on that failed on me while going through some triple layer cardboard. Just thought i'd add my part of testing for your consideration.

Everyone needs a Marley. 😉

I wanted to get one for the comparison but honestly self funding this one meant I ran out of money to budget for the episode😂😅🫠

I've been enjoying the Civivi Elementum Utility as my fidget razor. Also, good call on the Hedgehog! Beauty and brawn.

I agree, its just common sense.

I did some preliminary spine taps on mine without issue but I definitely didn't do anything too hard-core. Thanks for sharing and commenting 🍻
@@Rollshambo not in that direction. It failed in the direction of the cut. I did have the g10 version tho i doubt that plays a part in lock failing.
I use electric scissors to cut all of my cardboard
Never tried those!
@@Rollshambo Buy the RYOBI # FVC51K-FVB201 from Home Depot when on sale, they come with 3 batteries.
I’ll take my Fastback w/ bit driver over any of these any day of the week.
This is the gimmick of all gimmicks.
I wondered how many fastback comments I was gonna get😂 cheers🍻
For me, I can't see buying this. Just give me a common box cutter that I can abuse and not worry about breaking or losing it.
