Id really like to see you look at key solutions that involve a car key with its fob and everything. I normally only carry a single plain metal key, then a car key with its larger plastic base and the separate fob. I haven't found anything other than just a old fashioned normal keybring that really works for that type of setup.
A pocket organiser, I have the viperade ve18s and my Toyota key/fob slips snug in the external pocket with the Velcro on it.. I believe most other key/fobs will fit aswell.
I have a large fob car key too, that I must carry. I also have a wallet, I keep them together in a "magazine" holster made by Tazmanian Tiger. It's basically a structured wallet shape with molly webbing and robust bungee cords keep it all tight. It holds my flat wallet and 2 chunky keys, and gym fob too. Hope that can help.
It don't have to be so bloated. You have a phone with you, you have a flashlight. You have a multi tool, you have a knife. If you buy a Victorinox and add the plus scales you even have a pen. Add a EDC pouch as a wallet and key holder and you should be well under 100 bucks and can maybe add a cheap small power bank for your phone. - your phone - zero bucks (Flashlight) - cheap mini power bank with cord 10-15$ (ever had you phone dead with no charger in reach?) - Victorinox Compact (Pen, Knife, Multitool) 50$ - EDC pouch with key holder as in Alpaka Zip Pouch 25$ (add a key ring 1$) - Optional: Pliers as in Nextool Mini Flagship 15-30$
I've got a small suggestion... You've been doing these various complete carry vids for a while, but from what I can tell, you guys don't actually pocket the carry to see how it all fits together. I'd suggest carrying the loadout for a week or so to see if you get any additional insights rather than a strictly product overview. Just my 2 cents. Cheers boys.
Yeah, like half of the items on the table he had zero experience with at all. Hard to take the recommendation seriously when it's based off of cost alone.
I have a frog V1 and not only does it have short run times... the battery is so small it depletes on it's own without use (Even with mechanical lockout). You literally have to recharge it every week if you want to depend on it working when you need it.
The multitool just blow my mind, am definitely gettin one of those. Also, I find very curious that wallet, I've never seen one like that for sure, but in my opinion can't use it because I don't feel like it's comfy for me, don't know if its material or maybe the mechanism

The Wuben C3 is a great light for the money. I've carried one at least 2 years and it's in my EDC rotation at least 3 days a week. Has great output and it's tough as nails. Never had any issues with it even after dropping it lense down on concrete (no cracks) and it being dunked in a river for nearly 15 minutes (everything incl the charging port was dry).
I like the pen, and bought myself a Leatherman wave used (like new) for $25, from a pawn shop, but I have what I think are better ideas for several of the other items: Wallet - All-Ett (very thin, has RF blocking) ($44-66) Flashlight - Nicron N7 ($14 with available coupon) It takes AAs or lithium 14500, rechargeable or primaries. :-) Pocket Knife - CIVIVI Mini Praxis ($30)
Solid choices. I think that when it comes to watches, you either don't need one or already have your watch of choice and you are just looking for other gear. I personally would suggest the MecArmy Titanium side-pushing keyring (my personal key-setup) and either a Button Lock civivi or a Kershaw Iridium for the knife.

I love the look of the micarta on that Kizer. Even though its likely one color, the way they milled it makes it look two-toned and I love it. More companies should do micarta that way.
I lost my PowerPoint several months ago. This video gave me the push to buy another one. Also what about the Rovyvon flashlights that are rechargeable and have a pocket clip
I do like myself a nice pen with a bit of weight to it, so I ordered the very same Zebra G-750 on Amazon yesterday, and it arrived today. Best $8.37 I’ve ever spent for it. Thanks very much for this video, Taylor. And thanks very much for all that you do as well.
I would skip out on the frog V1 and go for a thrunite archer mini for the same size. It's also USB-C rechargeable. I understand some guys like the advantages of removable batteries, but I've yet to recharge mine and have used it at work often since mid July. Also it regularly goes on sale for $14.99 and has a reversible pocket clip.
I think for the flashlight there has to be some better options, that just seems like it has a lot of negatives. Pain in the butt to charge, no pocket clip, and it’s a keychain light shown after you eliminated a traditional key ring. Love the content tho just my two cents lol
The lumintop Silver Fox is also like $20 for an AA size flashlight. I think it has tail switch and twist front functionality but im not for sure. The powerpint Looks like an excellent little tool but i cant justify buying another multitool until i lose or break my wave clone.
For my knife I love my civivi praxis had both the normal and the mini but I lost the mini at work so I’ve been carrying the normal one and it’s held an edge very well since I sharpened it
Show more love to the SOG Powerlitre It replaces the file and serrated blade with a wine corkscrew. It's the only tool that "saves the day" when you got 6 people searching high and low for a missing wine opener.
Cool combination! I would change the key holder for a Chums Surf shorts Wallet and the flashlight for an Olight I3T EOS. Probably an Elementum as a knife.
The powerpint is so great and robust that I’ve snapped of a pivot screw while tightening a nut. Size and bit driver are great but anything else is not strong enough. And I’ve contacted sog to get new stew few months back not they never replied
Powerpint pliers are fine, but the knife and tools are not good as they are too small. A good Phillips 2 is key for me, and I am not a huge fan of the leatherman flat bits, but they are a minimum. $200 I am getting a bond and a pocket clip, a jetsetter, a Rovyvon A3, whatever pen I find at my house 😂, whatever key ring I have, and spend the rest on a nice wallet and cheap knife. For the most part, I don’t carry a separate knife which I know is heresy, but arc/curl/P2 or even bond is enough knife for me. If I want to go lighter, I leave the multitool at home and carry one of my benchmades (make fun of me for spending too much money😂).
The scissors on the PowerPint are left-handed, which is why Taylor loves them so much. For right-handed folks, however, the scissors on the PowerPint are not ideal. Check out the geometry!

I disagree with rechargeable batteries for EDC, I think a standard AA or AAA is the way to go, in a grid down, I'd bet, I can still find a standard battery anywhere or take it out of another device ...just saying
Solid finds. The wallet is solid. Thanks for pointing out the pen and the PowerPoint I just ordered them while watching the video. You should do the next EDC build from Sportsman Warehouse.

Olight 3os is almost unbeatable for the little mini light…
I tend to use the nite ize z clip for my keys #3
Can you do a lightweight minimalist carry for under $150? Something for going to the beach or going out for a jog? Must have: wallet, watch, multitool, knife, light, lighter, pen and paper, keys( no belt loops) bonus items for consideration. Thanks
I disagree with rechargeable batteries for EDC, I think a standard AA or AAA is the way to go, in a grid down, I'd bet, I can still find a standard battery anywhere or take it out of another device ...just saying
10440 and AAAs are often interchangeable
@@BestDamnEDC ok, but not all rechargeables are interchangeable, i was making a general statement, no offense...
I think I could do better with $150. However the Powerpint rocks, I totally agree!
Solid finds. The wallet is solid. Thanks for pointing out the pen and the PowerPoint I just ordered them while watching the video. You should do the next EDC build from Sportsman Warehouse.
There are none close to me
@@BestDamnEDC I didn’t realize that there wasn’t one in Charlotte.
I have that key unity titanium carabiner, works great
Do an edc from items you can pick up at auto parts stores just for fun
I think you should send this one to Zak to see if he likes it now. If he doesn't send him another one in 2 months.....🤣
😂
Love Zebra pens!!
The lefty smudging comment 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
You should try a thrift store (multiple thrift stores) carry.
Nice choices. I really need to get a SOG Powerpint.
Yes you do. What are you waiting for?
Great video brother
What would you say is the best material for a pen titanium would you say natural titanium or stonewash titanium? I’m looking into getting a pin and I’m wanting a titanium pin.
Ebay carry sounds awesome! Let's go! George, Los Angeles
That light interface is exactly the same as on olights
Which I’ve never loved
Can you add your affiliate link for the Casio watch you mentioned to the description?
