@@TheCookingNurse One of my Ugandan friend introduce this to me, so, this brought me here 😊😍 so I search it here in UA-cam and have seen your videos. I love it❤️
I wish I had tried matooke when I visited Uganda. You should upload this same video again, and have another video of this food preparation with you talking, rather than with this music. I would guess you would get a lot more views and subscribers; because, your cooking skills look delicious! I guess we will have to check with SkylantaUganda as to how it tasted. The next time I am in Uganda, whenever travel to Africa opens up again, Matooke @KansiimeBackpackers here I come! Heck, I would make a trip to Bara? Badara? however #SkylantaUganda pronounces it, just to try your Matooke. So, if you a giving out invitations to have a meal with you, or to buy an experience, where I can pay a certain amount to come and have a meal that you prepare, hit me up, I will add your matooke to my trip to Uganda. I do not know what the dirt is that you run your finger through? Is that pilau masala? Whenever, we order fufu and peper-soup from the Liberian restaurant, they always have something that looks like a bit of that, on the side and some green slime, that we always love- love- love. We say we love the dirt and the slime, but we have no idea what they are. I guess we could always call the restaurant and ask them what it is, but it has been so much fun eating dirt, that we have not done so. The green slime has okra in it, we are sure, but the dirt we like to dip our fufu into it with the green slime and talk and laugh about how much we love the dirt and the slime, but have no idea what they are. Your video production is beautiful. The opening scene is quality. The visuals are fabulous. I wish I could hear only the sizzling in the pot, rather than that horrible music, that I had to mute (If not for SkylantaUganda sending me to your channel... I couldn't watch a cooking video without you talking. It is painful. :-() Even when I watch people's cooking video's who are strenuous to understand, I still enjoy their content because they are talking. Even that horrible computer generated talking is painfully tolerable, when I realize they are using the computer voice, because they do not speak English, themselves. Soooo .. talk on your videos, let the sounds of the sizzle ring through, the bubbling pot...The sound of the stove firing up -- Your video is already great quality, you just need better sound. I did notice you had a tiny bit of sizzle come through, so I know you can interweave talking and sounds into your video and ditch the loud music. Try it. Upload the same video, with you talking, and the sounds of sizzle, and cooking sounds instead and see if you get much more views, and subscribers? I would watch it.

You can peel, boil in water and when soft pour the water and smash the bananas making sure not to harden before all pieces are soft
