What if the two stage nozzle moves too much when it has pressure. I have keep adjusting from a wide foam spray to a tighter foam fan spray. What's my problem and solution. ?
FINALLY GOT THE PIN OUT. Pin is extremely hard to get out. Finally got it out after 3 days. Now the foam agitator is stuck in there. My effing god the problems never stop.
Ya, it's a terrible design. There is no way to put pressure on the pin without the body going everywhere. Been trying for the last 30 mins and the pin won't move.
See my comments about using a pin punch set. 3/32" for the pin, 1/8" for the foamer agitator. I agree that trying to do it as shown in the video is difficult, but if you have the right tools and technique, it can't be that bad.
Instead of messing with a bent handle Allen wrench, you can use a 3/32" pin punch. I have a $25 Astro Pneumatic Tool 1600 16-Piece Punch and Chisel Set that makes this easier if you have scale buildup that holds the pin in place. I've never had to service mine before, used it for 2 years in one location with city water, went through around 3 gallons of car soap. Moved to a place with well water and now it started spitting foam out the side indicative of a clogged filter. So anyway, getting the pin out was a bit harder than shown in this video. Next, I'll use a larger punch to pop the old filter out, maybe the 5/32", and see if I can clean it for use until my next pressure washer parts order. Maybe just turning it around to back flush it will work.
Update: I used the 3/32" punch and small hammer to remove the pin. The 1/8" punch to tap out the stainless steel agitator/foamer. It appeared clean, visually indistinguishable from new. I rinsed it to remove invisible alkaline soap residue, then blew threw it with my mouth and it seemed free of restriction. Then, I checked the O-rings. They showed no signs of wear or compression, but there was a small piece of plant material on the first O-ring that explains the leak I was experiencing. Must have gotten into the garden hose and made its way to the foam cannon. I always try to flush the hose before using it, but it's not surprising that contamination made its way into the system. Anyway, the ability to disassemble, inspect, and clean this foam cannon is amazing. The build quality and functionality are premium. No reason to buy anything else. And if your water is good and you use an wax-free alkaline soap at least often enough to remove any wax buildup, I don't see a need to replace the foamer either. I use Koch Chemie Active Foam, with a 9.5 pH that's strong enough to clean but not too dangerous to be around.
We pre-install the same orifice in all our cannons. it is a 1.25mm! Most Karchers are a bit smaller so you would need a 1.1mm. If you purchased the foam cannon from us recently you should already have it in the box otherwise you can buy it on our website and get it in a couple days!
It’s actually 6months old strange. Doesn’t seem to be leaking out of nozzle. It’s apart now though In prep for replacing filter. Do you offer the filters stand alone on your site. All I can come across is the repair kit. The filter by itself should suffice
So I have an older PF22 I'm trying to repair and it's not any making any foam anymore. I've replaced the agitator element, the O-ring on the plastic cone. Anything else I should try? The water flows out the front it's just not foamy. I checked the pick up tube and everything seems clear with it. Could there be something inside it affecting the pick up?
@@PoweredbyVeloci Thanks! I actually figured it out last night, the orifice the tube draws the soap solution from was clogged. I used the same tool as I do for clearing the pressure washer nozzles' orifice.

Did you ever even use the flat head screw driver? Lol.
At least he knew what it was called, even if he didn’t use it.
Just change the filter and put pin back in And the grey knob that changes from horizontal and diagonal is squeaking when turning
Where can I buy the filter? I have had my cannon for over 3 years now and no problems. But maybe its good to start fresh with a filter if needed.

How do we know what orifice came in our gun? I'm trying to make sure that I have the best possible pressure for my Karcher k2000.

Used both Karcher K4/K7 premium with standard and the 1.1 works great with any size
Would you have any idea where I can get these filters in the United Kingdom. Thanks.
Had my pf22 cannon for about a year . The foam seems to be more soupy now. Do you feel I need a new filter?
It very well could be clogged over the year. Is it leaking a bit out of the nozzle?

Just replaced the mesh filter and on the 2nd wash it's back to pouring out watery foam out the front...any ideas? Can It be clogged only after 1 wash?
