Black, but with something interesting, has been a wardrobe staple for me since I was a teen. I love color too but as an OG goth chick I’ll always feel comfortable and confident in black.

I absolutely love this lady! She has such a great sense of style ! She is literally perfection in a pint size! Love everything she coordinates! She reminds me of a fantastic teacher I had in junior high who had the best clothes, shoes, jewelry, hair, & makeup! She was a very influential woman who made a big impression on me as a young girl. She just exuded such class and style and extremely intelligent!

My body is fairly covered in tattoos so patterns and color can clash with the art on my skin. I lean towards neutrals with unique textures or finishes in the fabrics then use accessories for pops. This is helpful for someone who has a lot of black clothes. (The curse of playing in an orchestra I guess) I'll try this the next time I have a concert. Also, "classic black with a tweak of something is what makes this interesting" is so true. I have these black ankle booties with red and gold embroidery on the heels and I get compliments every time I wear them
