- Hello and welcome to this Flight Report! This Report was recorded by my Father and edited by myself. It's been a while since I uploaded any PIA video onto my channel. This flight was really interesting in general because of two reasons, one was that there was a huge risk that it wouldn't be recorded due to the fact that my Dad was given a bulk seat and there was no window, thankfully he managed to persuade a kind man to swap seats with him. Secondly the approach for Islamabad Airport was chaotic due to planes being diverted because of weather! Anyway enjoy.

Brilliant video by your Dad and a wonderful editing by yourself fellow. Just a slight correction... Flights never get diverted from ISB because of poor weather conditions, but b/c of a poorly equipped runway at Chaklala/Nur Khan/ISB/ Benazir Bhutto airport. The authorities are adamant no to equip the runway with an Instrument Landing System. Boeing 777's are designed to even land or take off during snow/storm/tornadoes etc (as they normally do in North America), but since this bird is geared up by a FBW (fly by wire) technology, hence only a real pilot with guts would be able to land it on a manual approach. Salute to PK Pilots for their constant professionalism, spanning for more than 6 decades. Pakistan Zindabad, PIA Paindabad.

Great . I used to fly PIA Hong Kong Islamabad, it is a different feeling to fly on own PIA. But no more flights from HK.

Im a big PIA-Fan and that i have been since i was little. Iam update all flights and delays. Every day i spent 2 hours on flightradar24 to see all the PIA-flights. I have wrote to Shujaat Azeem and Danyal Galani on twitter and request about to get all flights on time! Yes PIA serve Alcohol because it also came to Oslo and Copenhagen where they drunk
+WorldOf PIA-Flights PIA doesn't serve Alcohol on their flights, the Alcohol passengers get is from duty free.
I traveled with PIA from Nairobi to Karachi many years ago. The service was just okay but the food and the quantity of the food was exceptionally great .

We had booked PIA flight with family ticket from HEATHROW airport and have been arrived at ISLAMABAD international airport
woww it's been 10 years since I took pia to isb from where I live and I miss pia, pia doesn't comet my country anymore :(

Thank you for this video! Is this airline reliable? I have seen they have good fares on offer from the UK to Thailand via Pakistan. Any opinions would be appreicated!
Christopher Rainbow Hi, thanks for watching! I didn't know PIA flew to Thailand? And regarding PIA there are very mixed reviews, If you're looking to enjoy Inflight-Entertainment, the screens are most likely not going to work so I would recommend you take any source of entertainment with you e.g a Tablet/. laptop or take another Airline which has good Entertainment on-board. Regarding food, PIA has really good food, they serve Pakistani cuisine on it's flights. Their Aircrafts which fly from the UK are Boeing 777's which are good Aircrafts however the interior may be slightly worn. Overall PIA i think is a nice experience, the flights are on-time and luggage is delivered correctly, I hope you enjoy your flight with PIA if you choose to book with them.
Thank you for the reply. I saw a travel agent advertising flights with them to Thailand and Malaysia and China. I will check with the travel agent in question as sometime these places make mistakes in their advertising!
Christopher Rainbow yes PIA is going to start flights to Bangkok from 14th September if you want to connect via Pakistan then connect via Karachi because the bkk flight operates from Karachi only

I don’t want to offend some people but I believe PIA seriously needs to improve. I’m from Bangladesh (Sylhet) and Bangladesh Airlines is a bit better than PIA but I also think Biman could improve as well

I really liked it! One thing I would say though however on your Pegasus flight report next time you should try make sure that the take off video isn't too long otherwise it would take up majority of your video

The man got some alcoholic drink from LHR duty free. He was drinking during the flight. He was asked many times to stop drinking by the crew he became aggressive and abusive towards the crew and fellow passengers. He was arrested and detained Pakistani style. You can imagine what happened to him

Nice video. Next time you go, could you use an airline such as Emirates or Qatar airways as a lit of people are using them instead of PIA and you already have videos of etihad
I reckon people will soon switch back to PIA because PIA is upgrading their cabins and seats to the standard the Gulf carriers are and will offer premium services
great report as always - BUT - crying kids as always traveling to Pakistan. Is it just me, or do Pakistani mothers don't care about other passengers comfort and try to calm down their kids?

Great one but the weather in Islamabad wasn`t good to make a video. 3 weeks ago, Islamabad to Manchester flight was amazing... In December 2014 Manchester to Lahore. Then Islamabad to Manchester... Great video :-) - PIA is so outdated and really bad, for the price people pay they should get working IFE without any excuse. However, great landing and loved the scenes of sunrise.
+Travelxplorers Yeah you're right, passengers deserve working IFE For the price they pay, it's been 3 years with this issue now it needs to be resolved but rumors are that they're getting new IFE soon
Let's hope so - we travel Emirates only because the amount of times we've traveled with PIA, it's been so much stress and hassle.
