- This is my first mini Trip Report, I thought that instead of uploading individual videos of Take-Off and Landing for this short flight between Sindh And Punjab, I might just combine the footage into one whole video. So please do enjoy this mini Trip Report from Karachi To Rahim Yar Khan :)

I went to Lahore but I didn't go on a Plane this time, I went to Karachi because of good fares. The next videos should be uploaded sooner or later

Well what happened was, pia orders 5 Boeing 777-300ers , then Boeing sent a letter to the pm saying that they would be happy to convert their 5 777 orders into 8 787 Dreamliner orders so Pakistan accepted the offer
Oh i hope they get their b787 soon and start their flights to Toronto, that would be lit.

Snacks were served but I fell asleep so I wasn't able to record it
Oh...but in India the full service carriers serve full meal be it Jet,Vistara or Air India.

Flight Reporter It was a really short flight, there was no time for a full service meal besides it wasn't even lunchtime

You were taken by buss from that beautiful main terminal at Karachi to your plane??? because I see the international/main terminal from the other side of the runway..
am1966ath It's because the ATR has it's own stairs so it doesn't require Jet bridges from the terminal hence why they park the ATR's near the terminal
TheAirlineAviation "Near the terminal" ?? the main terminal seems to be a long long way from were they parked the ATR s..
am1966ath The main terminal is the Jinnah International terminal and that terminal is for domestic and international. It doesn't matter how far the ATR's are parked it only took about 3 minutes to get there by the shuttle bus

PIA have very less aircraft in their fleet and most are of these types as compared to Air India PIA has 92 less aircraft than Air India
The Aviation Buddy That's a valid point, however do take into account that India has an enormous population compared to Pakistan so airline size fleet may vary for lots of factors
+TheAirlineAviation OK I know that India has more population than Pakistan but it is easy to manage a small airline as compared to a big airline then why PIA ranked in worst airline of the world.
The Aviation Buddy There's no official website to rank PIA worst in the world, these sources are heavily biased who label PIA and even Air India to be bad. when in fact they say PIA is getting 'worse' but as an aviation enthusiast it's becoming clear that PIA is improving day by day

1. The boarding music seriously needs updating to something more modern and contemporary instead of that decades old and outdated sitar music. 2. The dua-e-safr should be recited in a normal tone and speed as on the other middle east carriers and not dragged on for so long in such a dramatic fashion. 3. Altitude should be announced in feet as opposed to meters as its more easily understood by the average person.
Boarding music doesn't need updating, I'd rather prefer we stick to our roots and add a homely touch to our flights than follow western pop culture.
I'm not talking western pop culture, look at the boarding music the ME3 airlines use, fusion music, a mix between east and west. My ATR FO friend actually used to take his own music on board to play and it was very popular and PIA have actually now asked him to send over selections of this type of music so they can replaced this antiquated music with something more contemporary and modern.
I personally love the PIA's boarding music, only on the ATR i have heard it being played that loud but on 777's it's played softly
I personally don t like those short haul propeller air crafts..they are noisy and bumpy...
I think they''re fine for short routes into small airports
