Dude, if you see any e36 video and you haven't made it, make it. You're explanation may have just saved me hours of work I THOUGHT I had to do because I installed the brake switch in the wrong spot and couldn't figure out the bolt to loosen it. I was about to take off the whole assembly.
Logistics suggestion: I like the description of the assembly process, but try to lower the background music just a bit. It's hard at times to hear your voice esp when you talk away from the mic. A lavalier mic will also work well.
