Hello, everyone! Please note that the Nikon D3300 has a maximum live view of 30 minutes, after that it will go on sleep mode and you would have to press any buttons to bring it back. Thank you for all the comments!
Thank you for the quick and well explained tutorial. You have a very calming personality. Your warmth is welcome on this cutthroat UA-cam platform. Keep making these videos.
Hello, this is great. I have a question, how does your screen display from the camera not have any of the border information and also the focus square in the middle? Trying to remove it from mine without any success as yet. Kind Regards Sam
Hi, Sam Sterling. Good question. If you have the D3300, continue pressing the Info button until you get a clean screen. You may still get some info at the very bottom but it won’t be on the frame. I hope it helps. Thanks for watching the video. All the best.
Hi @Ansefercs. More lighting and less ISO. I’m not a professional photographer or videographer but I think that should help with the rainy image. Thanks for the question.
Hello. What do you mean by “go on standby”? Just an FYI, this camera has a 30 minute live view only, after that it will shut off. Not sure if that’s what you meant by “standby”. Thank you for the question.
Thanks for the video. But i need to confirm something. Are there any overheating issue? And can i use this 3300 for long stime streaming without reseting the camera? Because cmiiw, Some camera has max live view timer. Thank you
If your battery is fully charged and holds the charge, I would say, No. You don’t need a dummy battery, however, I would buy one as a backup. I did a video on testing a dummy battery a while back. You can check it out. Thanks for the question. All the best with your setup!
@@myVersatileChannel and i do thank you too for the video. i have an old d3300 with dead battery, that's why if i can make it work, i dont wanna buy some webcam because the quality is low unless i buy the one which is very expensive. good luck with everything you've done in your life and stay healthy. keep on making good video :D
Hello, Higher Caps. In the video, I did not use the Nikon webcam utility. I used a video capture for HDMI output and OBS detected it immediately. The Nikon webcam utility did not work on my Windows PC but it did on my MacBook Pro. Thanks for the question!
Hello Mam, nice information you provided for Nikon D3300. I am having same camera and want to start live streaming. Couple of things I want to know , 1) to run capture card, need graphic card in computer? 2) for 2 hours live stream, what about the battery, can battery run for 2 hours, if not than what is the solution. Thank you
Hello, bhavesh bhatt. Great questions! I will answer to the best of my knowledge. 1) If by “graphic card in computer” you mean a PCI (e) graphics card that you install, then, No. It can work with the built-in graphics card that that computer came with. 2) The Nikon D3300 has a live view time limit of 30 minutes. After that, it will shut off. There are hacks out there on UA-cam on how to extend the time limit but I haven’t tried them. As far as the battery goes, I would suggest an external AC battery adapter that you plug in to the electrical outlet while streaming. There are videos on UA-cam on how to do it. I hope I answered your questions. Thank you for watching!
@@GeexyBeat - Hi. I try not to use the live view mode more than the 30 minute limitation. If I use the DSLR as a webcam is for short video clips in OBS. Sorry Ma'am .. but its not a good idea. because after 30 minute ur dslr (Nikon d3300) will automatically disconnect from ur obs,,, Your dslr having only maximum 30 minute screen stand by mode...
