I love the safety of SW county! Everything is a relatively short drive away. Now that we live up the mountain, we still come down to shop the area and eat at the many restaurants. Best school system in all of Roanoke county!
Oh gosh I have to choose? Casual for sandwiches and wings, brambleton deli. Cheap and satisfying? Burger in the square. Not too far from my mountain abode and a little more dressed up/serves Sunday brunch buffet? Bent mountain bistro. Now if it's an Asian mood, take out is dragon china and eat in is Ike's kitchen!
