It’s not perfect but as I’ve moved across the country I miss Roanoke and it’s affordable and if you travel it’s a nice home base ! It’s close to my family in West Virginia but I don’t have to live in West Virginia
We can all find flaws in the place we live for sure. Like you said Roanoke is a pretty amazing “home base” for those who travel a lot and we love it as a family for calling it home all the time

Yes, we have some highly rated schools in the area 🤩
Wawa is in fact, just like Sheetz, but wawas food is less greasy. Wawa is in the mid Atlantic and FL. In eastern PA and NJ there is a wawa every few miles on most major roads. They are expanding to NC and AL.

I think Wawa is in Maryland and Delaware also.
How bad are the roaches? Currently in Oklahoma and looking at Roanoke.
They’re not really that bad, Kris just really despises them. They were way worse and way bigger in S Georgia where I grew up
Saludos! Past 2 or 3 years the winters have been great! Hardly no snow…
Personally we miss the snow ❄️ in the winter, and for those of you don’t like, you have absolutely been enjoying the lack of snow the past couple of winters

Even your cons make me wanna move. Think ill have to make it happen!! Arizona offers that dry 116 heat and a 80° christmas. Well Im dreaming of a white Christmas!! We also choose the wilderness over packed beaches. Thank you for video.

We always tell folks we feel safe on a day to day basis as do our clients that also love the Roanoke Valley
We always recommend you compare your current town to areas of Roanoke by looking them both up on www.crimemapping.com/ and spotcrime.com/
Once you start digging into the specifics locally and then look at the details in Roanoke too, you might be surprised at what’s going on near you right now if you do a search. Folks have found that you can’t just look at the general data and numbers
Imagine a population with majority of people who hasn't evolved and started cult communities surrounding Roanoke: Botetourt, Salem, Roanoke County, Vinton, Franklin County, and etc .
