He showed a horizontal wood brace between studs (side nailed). But I think I would add and glue and screw a short wood vertical brace on each sides into the vertical stud to support that horizontal brace he showed in the video. The side stud braces provides more insurance the nails won’t shear downward and fail from loading. Then set the new horizontal brace (that he shows in the video) on top of that ledge created on each of the studs.
Hi! Nice review from you! Want to ask, I just bought the frame TV 2020 model, was you (or anyone who read this comment) have issue with the HDR content especially from netflix? Is so dark when displaying HDR content on netflix, sometimes it's just unwatchable. Went through the setting menu but it seems cannot fix the issue. Appreciate if you can help me with this. Thanks!
This is great, Rhett... the only thing I don't quite like is all those reflections on it, I'd prefer to enjoy your Art on very opaque monitors, I think it's more "unadulterated " like that. But that's a problem of most of TVs/monitors, unless you get an Eizo et similia...
@@doobieters1234 The TV unit at the bottom of the thumbnail is 2m long for reference. So I like this size for a main tv area, but if making a whole wall of framed art (with other smaller frames) then something smaller might fit better.
Can i set up a slideshow with control over the intervals; i.e so I can display images for say, an hour each and have them automatically change each hour? If not, this is useless & stupid...
u fked up the whole purpose of it by hanging it right next to a door. no wonder why samsung made the tv for US and EU audience only. u should go fk a kangaroo or smt rather than worrying abt your art or tv
Excited about the non-glare 2022 model
wow that is so cool
*looks at prices
guess ill stay with prints
They are worth every cent. We put them in every office.
Great review, thanks for this info
Wow!
Nice review! North America uses studs as well. Using drywall screws is an option but a risky one if you don’t have the right hardware.
Is this the 21 model? Does it have the antireflective
qualities?
Where can I find those pictures? Love the art!
Thanks, it's mostly my art. mankind.art
That's awesome, hope I can afford one someday
Nobody mounts unto plaster boards. It all goes into the studs
This is incredible!
How did you secure the added timber to the existing studs?
Nails. Many nails

Finally a TV review without someone find their own face very interesting to show off all the time.
Glad it helped.
Heyy did you pass the cable through a conduit sir? Coz it isn’t wall rated? So what did you do?
I did a quick search and found it is in-wall rated.
Looks great indeed!
That looks unreaaal
Can I change arts to my Google Photos?
i got it 2 days ago and i'm so happy with it! even my wife :)
Haha congrats! Now enjoy some free tv art on us 😆
I read online that these could overheat and catch on fire. Now I'm scared to get one but I really want one. Have you heard of this issue?
Nope. Had it in my home for over a year. I'll let you know if my house burns down.
@@RhettMankind thanks

Do you have the Sonos beam concented? Can you Up los a tutorial - i coudnt make it Work with the tv
I see they just announced NFT platform to view NFTs. Did you ever find a solution for video, I need 4 displays hung vertically playing a video loop.
I think a usb stick plugged in should work but I haven't tested sorry.
@@RhettMankind yea no apparently it’s not that easy
Can you pop up the sensor on the bottom right? I have the 2021 model but I’m afraid to mess with it! I noticed it looked gone in a few shots.
No, the sensor is still there. Maybe less obvious bc it's framed

The newest Matte versions that came out in 2022 seem to solve that problem even more, definitely worth looking into
@@FrankyColon great, didn't know about that one, thank you
This just convinced me to get the 2022 thanks. Wasn’t sure if there’s be reflections in the 2021 model and voila - and actual in room example.
I think the 2022 is less reflective. The model I have definitely has some reflections but totally acceptable.
Is this the 32 inch or 43 inch version?
65 inch
@@RhettMankind lol, wow. Got that one completely wrong. What would you suggest for a long wall behind a diner table of 220cm?
@@doobieters1234 The TV unit at the bottom of the thumbnail is 2m long for reference. So I like this size for a main tv area, but if making a whole wall of framed art (with other smaller frames) then something smaller might fit better.
Yes. Now I can display my tiles :)
I mounted mine straight onto the wall no studs it’s been up for about 6months, I’m from Australia also, now I’m concerned it’s gonna fall
Is that Teak or Brown?
Teak
Your artwork is amazing where can I find your artwork with the moving trees?
Thank you. Maybe one of these you're referring to? niftygateway.com/marketplace?artistId=5513&collection=0x1c7df1a1384386fc0ac0762c5c30c49493fa8f3d
So it's a big screen TV
Which size is this?
I think 65" can't remember exactly now.
Where is the wire ??
Behind the wall
@rhett what resolution do you export your images so they have a full frame effect?
ofcourse atleast 4K
Unbelievable waste of energy. I do not understand why this is not a bigger problem

Yes you can. (Almost didn't bother answering bc of the attitude at the end)
@@RhettMankind I wouldn’t have bothered answering him either.
