Gentiles have no obligation to convert. They have to keep the 7 Noahide laws.

@hrvatskinoahid1048 As a Jew, I quit telling people that are coming to the knowledge of HaShem and His eternal Torah not to obey the Sabbath and Laws if they feel led to. People around the world are flooding to His Truth, and there's a reason for that. I'm a firm believer that the 10 Tribes are headed home. I'm not going to dare stand in their way because of the hoops of conversion. If they feel led to participate in his joyous Sabbaths and laws, without converting, then so be it. @@littleredpixie3116 If a Gentile observes any of the Jewish commandments from the Torah as a religious obligation (even if he does so from a desire to receive a spiritual reward), this is forbidden based on the prohibition of adding a commandment, and there is no spiritual reward to be derived from this.

This is a bit of an unusual comment and I find this interesting. What is it that you love about Rabbi Singer and are you interested in converting?
You just have no idea that Islam is like Judaism version 2.0
I was asking someone who claims to be a Muslim about this love. I’m aware of the history of which you speak and I do know about current events, as well, such as what’s being exhibited across the world today. Unfortunately, I’m seeing the opposite.

No where in the Torah/Tanach does it ever say that the Messiach will keep failing and have to come back again and again. According to Christianity, the so-called "Jesus" already came back a second time, but he still never fulfilled any of those Prophecies about the Real Messiach. An example description of forces of evil?
The idea of a special race, group, nationality, ethnicity or blood line which sole purpose is believing that they are superior to all others outside of their race, tribe, religion and beliefs. This evil believes that the destruction of lives, properties, communities and nations is the will of their god. Sounds familiar to that of the National Socialist Movement in Germany. Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonable high sense of their own importance. Cult leaders are typically malignant narcissists and want people who will be obedient to them. So the question is whether or not those of the Jewish Faith feel that they are different than all others regarded as so called Gentiles? This is disproportionately greater in numbers of the population of the world, which is very large compared to those of Judaism. Pointing out that the use of words like Gentiles or Goyim are used disparagingly as separating the controller and the controlled, like that of bigotry, racism and dogmatism. The idea of slave to a master race is what this means. So how can there be universal peace and perfection in the world with such a powerful evil control system?

Hey :) I have been recently listening to you and I enjoy your videos. I wish Jews didn't have to go through all the pain they have endured.
Basically I have been born in a christian home and when I came out of high school I have wanted for their to be no hell so I became a Universalist. I have read the entire book of the bible 10 years ago other than bits and pieces of leviticus and psalm. I understand that you love and respect christians and that you have a hard time with christians. I understand because I hang out with christians on a weekly basis. I try to get along with them but it can be frustrating trying to explain to them what I believe.

The caller's analysis is very correct.
The claim from the very beginning of the messianic followers of Jesus was that he in himself was the revelation of the God of Israel, that messiah was not just man but was divine, that all would be fulfilled in him, in part now and later when he returned in glory.
That claim would of course divide the messianic followers from the larger community.
But then, the Second Temple period was a time of diversity and argument within Judaism, including over who and what the messiah was going to be. Those arguments eventually created the environment that led to the Romans' destruction of the Temple and the later depopulating of Judea after the failure of the Bar Kokhba uprising.
Mashiach is a human being, born in normal fashion of human parents.

For the followers of Jesus, he was fully human. He was also in some mysterious way the revelation of Israel's God, affirmed in his lifetime by many miracles. And later affirmed to them after his death by the resurrection appearances. They were willing to be cut off from the rest of the Jewish community, and even go to their deaths, to uphold this religious experience.

Rabbi Singer, I always learn so much about TaNaK and the Jewish interpretation watching your videos. Though, I admit I remain unconvinced by your assertions that the testaments about Yeshua fail to line up with prophecy and other components of TaNaK. You are quite right, however, that many Christians fail to read the entirety of their own Holy Scriptures, which includes the TaNaK.
I respectively disagree with your interpretation of Matthew 10:34-36. Matthew 10 recounts when Yeshua tells the disciples to go out in pairs to preach to Y’hudah (not the Gentiles or Samaritans) and do signs like heal the sick. Yeshua is warning them that they will be met with fierce opposition and quotes Micah 7:6 (or around there depending on the translation). If I’m not mistaken, that verse in Micah’s book warns that when “the time of your watchmen - of your punishment - has come” there will be dissension and you will not be able to trust people. Matthew 10:34-36 is basically a copy of Micah 7:6 because the message of the disciples is to proclaim that the kingdom of Adonai is near.
Zechariah 9 is a beautiful, albeit sometimes frightening, set of prophesies. I do not see where Zechariah 9:9-13 contradicts the Gospels testimony about Yeshua. It says that Tziyon’s King will ride “on a lowly donkey’s colt” (Zechariah 9:11), which the testimonies of Yeshua say he did (Matthew21:1-5 and John 12:14-16). It also says “by the blood of your covenant, I release your prisoners” (Zechariah 9:11). Interestingly, it also says that “I will rouse your sons, Tziyon, and make you like a warrior’s sword against your sons, Greece.” (Zechariah 9:13), which feels relevant to the time period of Yeshua's life due to the occupation by Rome.
Since Yeshua is asking the disciples to proclaim that the kingdom of Adonai is near as a call to repentance for “the lost sheep of Yerushalayim”, Matthew 10:34-36 is clearly not a statement of literal battle. Yeshua never preached violent proselytization, much less of the Y’hudah, but instead tells his followers to "be as harmless as doves" and if met with opposition to "leave [the town and] shake its dust from your feet" (Matthew 10:15-16).
I'm always saddened to hear when Christians today are aggressive with their commission to preach the Gospel, especially with the Jewish people. By the words of Yeshua, that is not what Christians are supposed to do. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

There is a video short where two guys were talking in Israel. One was trying to get the other to accept Jesus and the other told him that he was Jewish. The first guy said, " so am I. I think when you refer to Christians, you mostly imagine protestants. Or no? Would an intelligent rabbi and Catholic not be able to enjoy a conversation with one another in good faith? The 'son of man' is not a person it is a door that sits between the 2 'fathers'... Father God or the 'the father of lies'. This is why the terms 'like a' and 'the' are used to describe this 'son of man', always in the 3rd person, unless by faith, the door is opened. These are also the Keys of David that are spoken of, as each person's relationship choice is their own. The spirit (ruah) is feminine and thus is considered the 'mother' - birthing sons or daughters (of man), and why in the Book of Enoch the Sons of God went INTO the daughters of man and became 'evil spirits' upon the earth... as spirit gives birth to spirit and flesh gives birth to flesh.
Thus, in consideration of the 'structure' I've just presented, all of this 'warring' can be understood.
We can observe this happening in Ezekiel 2, where Ezekiel is called, and told to stand and THEN the Lord would speak to him. It is the 'spirit' entering him that causes him to stand (setting him on his feet) and THEN he could hear the Lord speaking to him.
The sword that is mentioned are the scriptures, which Jesus correctly describes as unable to be broken... and they cannot be, as they are designed around blessings and curses, so as to be applicable to all of man kind regardless of knowledge (or not) of them; which Paul points out in Roman's 2:12-14.
In psalm 110, Jesus points out that David was speaking in the spirit, and implied that the 'master' (adoni) that was spoken of was David's 'son of man'... and of course because the leaders of the time did not understand these teachings, Jesus, as the incarnate logos, became a curse, instead of a blessing.
As such, with each person having this 'son of man' internally - anybody can be the messiah... even you or me. It depends, as Jesus taught, dependant upon the 'spirit' of which you are.
Since Lord Gid gave us His spirit, and can do ALL things as written in Isaiah 45:7 ("I form light and I create darkness. I make peace and I create evil: I the Lord do ALL these things.").
This means that each person then has freewill to choose to obey or rebel and thus is Lord of the Sabbath, with freedom to choose to do good OR evil, again - as stated by Jesus.
In your hearing all of this Isaiah 52:15 has been fulfilled for you. And yes... I do have a Jewish bloodline, out of Egypt actually and my given name 'smells' of Moses.

Yeshua never says that he would bring war; let alone physical war. He said he would bring the sword, which in this context represents the word of God. And the word would be a stumbling block between people. What is meant is that Elohim is not pleased with harmony for the sake of harmony. One cannot harmonise light with darkness, one cannot harmonise good with evil. There will never be teshuva without judgment and conflict. From Hebrews 4:12: 'For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ' Likewise in Revelations 19:15: "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations" Taking into account the context of the entire New and Old Testament, it definitely cannot mean physical war. There is no single passage in the Hebrew Bible or in the Talmud or Kabbalistic literature that would necessitate the equation of the word "sword" with physical war. For instance, Bava Batra 123a,6. If I did not know it better, it would demonstrates a lack of knowledge about the Talmud and the Bible (and in a way also a certain disregard of it) if one was ready to discard this passage solely based on the presented "contradiction". The entire Talmud lives of "contradictions" like these.

Before there is any misunderstanding, I reject the doctrine of the trinity and share a lot of the criticism levelled against so called Christians. A lot of the things you wrote can just as well be directed against them. Most Christians do not know basic Scripture and do not take the old testament literally, to the point that the world was not created in six days and the flood was also just a nice metaphor, etc. However, I do not even like when people misrepresent Islam despite me thinking its a satanic religion. And I don't understand why someone like Mr Singer, who is so much more knowledgeable on the Bible than most people, needs to stoop so low and misrepresent Christianity despite knowing better. Generally, it is an abominable thing in my eyes, when people across the spectrum treat the word of God like some sort of sports or competition and try "to diss" one another. No one can weasle oneself into heaven by being smart or having a big intellect, that simply not the quality asked for.

Rabbi, I agree that Jesus was foremost a teacher. But think it's not fair to ignore the fact that he was a very special teacher. One who came to say this world, people's world, is corrupt. Full of deception. That people's way is really quite putrid. And that it is not God's way. Then Jesus offers to show a path to God's way. Of course, people don't want to hear how they are living is wrong and what they believe is a good life is deception. They get quite upset. We see that in Genesis through Noah and through Sodom and Gomorrah. We see it through the prophets. Including Isaiah. You've witnessed it when spreading your message. Jesus sacrificed himself to this hatred for the sake of his message. True, Christians have distorted who Jesus was and his good news. But while he may not be exactly The Messiah as prophesied. He certainly can be a personal messiah by saving an individual from the death-life of a people's world and showing them a life-life in God's kingdom. Rabbi Tovia Jeremiah wrote that God promised a new covenant but when Jesus came to introduce the new covenant you rejected him as well as the new covenant-You wanted to go on with Levitical priesthood and rejected the Melchizedek priesthood new covenant-God The Father however excepted the death of Jesus on the cross because the Father judged him according to this Melchizedek priesthood rules&laws-not according to the Levitical priesthood laws that say that God do not except human sacrifice-that you must have the sacrifice on a altar in the temple-that you must be anointed with oil to be Mashiach-According to the Melchizedek priesthood rules the Father did except his sons offer of blood -it was not neccesary to be on altar or in temple-Jesus was anointed with water during his baptism to be Mashiach-not oil because these are the rules of this new covenant and yes the rules and laws of the old covenant was to last forever as long as that covenant existed but if Elohim themselves annul this covenant and replace it with a new covenant then because the old covenant do not exist anymore it's laws also do not exist anymore-can Jews understand this😮!

In the future, the Messianic king will arise and renew the Davidic dynasty, restoring it to its initial sovereignty. He will build the Temple and gather the dispersed of Israel. Then, in his days, the observance of all the statutes will return to their previous state. Jews will offer sacrifices, observe the Sabbatical and Jubilee years according to all their particulars as described by the Torah.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam, what an interesting triangle.
For Judaism, we know what it is, Started with time of Moses, tracing back to believe in One God, back to Abraham, Noah, Enoch, Adam, the first messiah was Saul , the last messiah was (Jesus Christ) who was controversial.
