First time mom here, I gave birth April 4! 😊 I remember my contractions began April 3 around 5am. I went about my day as normally as I could. I finally went to the hospital April 4 around 5:30am. When my husband and I got there I was already 7cm dilated! I gave birth to our little girl 8:23am with no epidural and a first degree tear. I would want to do the same thing if I end up pregnant again in the future haha. I wish all of the moms out there a safe labor and delivery ❤
@@togepi-og1vh When you feel like going to the hospital please go! I had no idea I was dilated so much already haha. Take care and good luck mama ❤ Hope you and baby girl are safe and healthy, much love 💟

I’m 34 weeks pregnant 2 weeks ago my husband was hit by a car and was in a coma for 2 weeks he had major facial and skull fractures and has severe traumatic brain injury. He’s still in the hospital and is in and out of awareness. I pray for a miracle that by the time I have our 6th baby he’ll be aware enough for me to get wheeled into his room so he can see her.

Well we live 40 minutes from our hospital so during the car ride my contractions were close to 2 minutes apart. We were admitted at 7am and I was told i was 8cm dilated and 100% effaced. After a failed epidural and 30 minutes of pushing, our daughter was born vaginally at 11:59am. Thanks to all of your videos I felt so prepared and relaxed. I'm so happy I labored at home as long as I did and I even re-watched some of your videos before going to the hospital to keep myself from wondering if I was doing something wrong!

Thank you for all of your help, your advice really helped me a lot, but I warn second time moms to be careful how long they wait at home!
I agree with you completely of course laboring at home is a great idea instead of just running it at first contraction the way so many first time moms do but I think first time moms need ESPECIALLY to keep in mind, the pain is RIDICULOUS (for me I would say unbearable) and going at active labor or around 6-7 cm dilated almost guarantees you won’t get an epidural. Thank you for this video! I am still trying to make my birth plan and right now I'm hoping for an epidural free birth but everyone around me is saying I can't handle it. It is really getting to me. But knowing I can labor at home and control the situation, distract myself, manage pain in a warm bath, etc, makes me feel more empowered and hopefully have a short labor once I'm at the hospital like so many are saying they had.
Just wanted to say that i watched a bunch of your videos while pregnant last year in preparation for my home birth. Your video on breathing techniques helped so much with speeding up labor and breathing through the pain. Thank you for everything ♥️
I don't know what I'd do without your videos. I'm due July 7th and they've helped me feel SO much more confident and encouraged. Thank you so much for what you do.
First time mom here! I gave birth at 20pm yesterday and it's because of this video that i labored at home for over 20 hours .. and when i finally decided to go to the hospital i was already at 7cm😮..i just wanted to say thankyou! The contractions hurted but they were not giving me agonising pain so .. just go when you feel like you have to go.. bc i wasn't sure since i could still walk and talk during my contractions .. i did however almost end up with a c-section bc i couldn't push my baby out on my own it was just way to painfull. But we made it both healthy and very happy! Thank you Sara🥰
This is great! I’m due in 3 weeks and my husband has been preparing for our home labor. He asked “what shows or movies do you want to watch during labor?” He also has my favourite drinks and snacks ready too! He’s been taking notes 😂
I was NOT average. With my first my water broke at 11:30am. Contractions started at noon and I had my daughter at 3 😳. There’s no waiting with my current! Can’t wait to film this one too!
I did this a little too good lol. I got to the hospital with a crowning baby. They told me I was so close to having the baby at home or in the car. I hemorrhaged after the birth so thankfully I made it. SOOO be careful of waiting too long. I must have been in active labor and I thought it was braxton hicks. 1 1/2 hours of strong contractions and it was baby time. My second baby too.
With my second I called my mom at 4:23pm saying i might possibly be in labour and she should come over just incase. i had my son at 5:27pm.... ahah almost didn't make it to the hospital. my 30 min labour at home was great though XD
Lexi Brandi don’t be nervous! I was 2cm’s dilated and 40% effaced once I was 31weeks so I was on bedrest and at high risk for preterm labour. My situation definitely wasn’t normal lol
You probably get this all the time, but your videos are a life saver! Especially with all in person classes being canceled during this pandemic, you're a fount of much needed information. I'm a first time mom with tokophobia, and you're helping me so much more than you realize to feel more secure for this whole ordeal. You're just the bees knees ma'am!
I’m only 16wks with my first child and I’ve been super nervous especially because I never envisioned myself being a mother. I just wanted to say you are phenomenal and you’ve really encouraged me today. I’ll have to refer back to this video when it gets closer to my due date.thanks for the tips 😊
With my first baby, I had a mild back ache for 2 days and woke up on the 3rd day, thought I peed myself (it was my water) and within 45min my contractions were 5min apart and 1min long...I had zero time to prep at home before going to the hospital. Also, being my first, I wanted to be at the hospital asap (glad i did as baby was having a hard time in there). Hoping baby #2 due in 5 weeks will give me some more warning to stay at home 😅
Thank you for posting this ❤️ I'm 35 weeks with my second child (attempting a vbac) Tbh I've been terrified with everything going on and really want to have a good experience. I feel like last pregnancy I was so unaware of options and was induced and everything about this pregnancy is different. I'm grateful I found your channel, I want to be confident with my body.
I definitely wish I would have labored at home longer with my first. I went in as soon as my water broke at 10 pm, and I didn't even feel my contractions until the next morning. Definitely could have spent the night in the comfort of my own home. Currently pregnant with #2 and I'll definitely do things differently this time. :)
I was able to labour at home for 17 hours, when we went to the hospital I was 7cm. I was bummed when they sent me home when I first went in, knowing what I do know, I would have ended up with more pain relief than I would have wanted, and I was way more comfortable at home doing my own thing. The midwife that delivered my baby was fantastic though!
I labored at home for HOURS! My contractions started at 3am and were pretty strong and consistent right out the gate and I stayed home and labored until 8pm that night getting in and out of my tub, used my ball, and tried to distract myself with movies 😅 I didn’t even tell my husband contractions had started until he got home at 6pm! We got to the hospital at 9pm and my son was born at 6am the next day!
This might sound crazy but I didn’t even know I was in active labor. I went to my 40 week appointment and I was at 7cm and my contractions were less than 2 minutes apart and the dr thought I was crazy! I walked the block to the birthing center like any other day. They kept offering to wheel me over but I felt just fine. The problem is now I’m pregnant with baby #2 and I am worried I won’t know I’m in labor until too late
Thanks Sarah for all your videos, they should be made must watch for pregnant ladies, especially FTM like myself! I'm 38wks today and just can't wait to meet my little Pumpkin now 🥰
This may seem a little weird, but I feel like I'm going to miss Sarah when I'm not longer pregnant 😢 She's like the good friend that always mellows you out and keeps you in a positive headspace. Thank you for really helping me get through this pregnancy with a positive outlook throughout. Flex & Flow doesn't just apply to pregnancy ☺ Which btw I truly believe she needs shirts made with that mantra ✨
Hi Sarah, I have been watching your videos before I was even pregnant 👀, I am pregnant now with twins 😋, please do a video for twin pregnancy ..pls pls plssssss.
It sucks that you’re not allowed in the hospital. I’m glad I live in a state that allows my doula to be in the hospital. Your videos are fantastic and I know I’d want you to be with my in the hospital. Currently binging your videos as I wait during my glucose test (started with those two vids😉 )
I love watching your videos. You undoubtedly really know your stuff and your confidence in the education you provide is just awesome. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. Had a C-Section the first time and my hospital is still to determine if I'm going to be able to try for a VBAC.
This has been so helpful. I've been having start and stalled labor since last Wednesday (04/08) and docs haven't been much help on advise lol. So this is really helpful thank you
I guess to wait wouldn't work for me especially at this times. I'm 37 wks pregnant and just came from my doctor. She said I should come to hospital earlier whenever I feel I'm about to give birth because before the hospital will accept me for admission they have to do series of check ups and interviews to make sure I'm not infected with the virus. So I have to comply with the measures the hospital needs before admission. I'm hoping and praying for safe, fast, normal delivery and a little pain on my "D" day. My hopes and prayers also goes to all soon to be moms out there.
Hello! Love your videos. If we are attempting a Vbac can we labor as much as possible at home? Or would we have to go to the hospital right away because of a possible uterine rupture? Thank you 😊
YES PLEASE a video on virtual support! I'd love to know how that's working. And do you have any recommendations on where to search for a virtual doula?
I’m 39 weeks with my second but my first was induced. I had him in just under 8 hours so I’m anxious on what to do if I go into labor on my own. I do live 10 min from the hospital but I worry about waiting too long but also going in too early 🤦♀️.
Watching this video at home while having regular contractions, lower back pain and cramps... It’s been like this for 15 hours now. I feel terrible!!! 😭
Sarah, thank you so much. I labored at home this time for as long as I could. mom of 3 here first I had vaginally with epidural, the second was with epidural and c section, this one I binge wash your videos .bout 11 something I start feeling contractions felt the contractions I left went to the store made it bk bout 2 something they start getting real after staying at home like u suggested I got on the ball I did everything. 515 I went to L&D I was 6 centimeters 657 I was 8cm at 7:53 I was ten when they came in doctor was like I see his head two push 8 pd 4 ounce baby boy out natural no.epidural I'm so thankful I followed your breathing techniques they were so impress they was like u need to teach a class lol😅 I had a birth plan and asked all the questions.
I’m a second time mom but it’s been 6 years since my first AND my first came a month early, my water broke before contractions and only dilated to a 2. Now currently 37 going onto 38 weeks pregnant I am sooo excited to labor at home (fingers crossed that plan continues) so nice to have this information!
My first pregnancy I was not prepared for how long it would take to get to active labor. I was timing contractions and they were consistently 5 min apart and 1 min long for like 2 hours and I was like this is it! Man after being at the hospital for a few hours and staying at 2 cm dilated, they said I should continue to labor at home (I was only about 39 weeks). I didn’t even realize the contractions could start to slow down but they did and I slept through things a little. Next day same thing and felt more real and went back and STILL got sent home. Over 3 days of this labor for me before I was even at 4 cm. By then they broke my water the last day and I finally delivered by the next afternoon. I guess now with my second I don’t know what to expect because for one I’ve forgotten the pain/intensity of active labor 7 years later and I also don’t know if I’m a slow laborer or if second one will be way faster because “my body knows what to do”. I just know I can’t go through another 3 1/2 day labor!!!
Last night...i went into labor... and labored at home the whole day on june 15 and my contractions wer irregular.....im so excited...i gave birth natually at 6:30 am to a beautiful baby girl!! Her name is Leila...she is now 1 month old!! First time mom😁😁
Thank you so much Sarah really appreciate this I'm so nervous but this particular video helped me a lot cause having to deal with the pandemic and all isn't easy Thanks again 😊
I’m on my 4th pregnancy and scared to stay too long at home this time around! I like laboring at home until the contractions are like 3-4 minutes apart. Good thing I live down the street from the hospital now 😆.
I wouldn't exactly say "if your not sure it's labor it's not" my sister was in labor and was never sure and when we finally went to the hospital BECAUSE we WEREN'T sure she was 10 cm and gave birth within 20 minutes of being checked in
Hearing how long first time moms typically are in labor is crazy. My birth with my first was 5 hours start to her being born. My OB warned me to go to the hospital very quick with this one if I want any type of pain relief 😂
This doesn’t apply to everyone. I wasn’t sure I was in labor at all. I was having what felt like period cramps. My sister told me to go to the hospital. The hospital was 20 minutes away. Luckily I listened to her because I had my baby so fast that the nurse didn’t have time to put on her gloves and she caught my baby with a blanket. 😂 This time around I’m getting induced and will have the chance to enjoy an epidural.
"who feels comforting for you at home..." My cat. 32 wks right now. Because of the country I live in, I don't have a say in what type of labor I get to have. They wanna schedule me up for a C-section, and I don't really have a voice in the matter, which sucks and is just frustrating. Hubby works night shift so I'm kinda nervous I go in to labor before my c-section and nobody at night to help. Did I mention it's my first time. . .
Wow! That’s rough. If you need a friend, I’m here. I’m 30 weeks. C-Sections are prevalent in my country too. So I need to labour at home so that I have a better chance of natural birth. If I go in early and take long, they will make me have a C-Section
@@thequeenellah that sucks! And thanks! They said that given my medical history, they can't run risks and I do admit I am not a normal preggo lady but I've read cases of other parts of the world, drs treating people in my condition and they got to have vaginal births. My urologists just don't know what to do with me, they freaked when they found out I was pregnant and dont allow my obstetricians to have a normal delivery.
Wished for this but had to be induced at week 40+5. Laboured for 26 hours . Induction with the gel it had to be redone after 10 hrs it hadn't worked .countless CTG during this time.
What happens if you have group B step are you able to still labor at home. I’ve read that you need two doses of antibiotics for you to be in a safe zone. First time mom.
First time here, i was due 23rd july, still waiting for those contractions 😅 lost mucus plug and have been feeling some pain here and there but it's been 3 days
I had multiple nurses almost 2 months ago and they were all amazing. I was shocked. I am hoping you will be pleasantly surprised! I was also induced and in the tub with portable monitoring and kept needing it readjusted every few minutes (basically I was super annoying) and they were STILL so so nice.
I never knew when to go to the hospital… thankfully my labors were very easy but the downside is that I waited too long with my last hospital birth and baby was almost born on the freeway, he was delivered 5 min. after we got to the hospital, so for our last two we decided to do home births.
U r just so cute with your acting skills... u never fail to entertain us😘😘I m pregnant with my second child n hoping for a VBAC 🙃hope to make best out of ur vedios if everything goes favourable 😊
feels like you're reading my mind. i was due on monday, waiting for the little one. we have a hospital, but since we're in a rural area in egypt (..) i came to the conclusion to stay at home if it's possible. have a great doula. thank you so much for all the tipps
How do you know your baby is ok while laboring at home? I’m not afraid of the pain I’m more afraid of the baby being in distress and me not knowing it.
I was nervous to labor my 1st at home because I lived on the 3rd floor so I labored at Target 😂. I didnt want to get sent home for early labor. When I got to the hospital I was 6cm dilated.
Thank you so much, I followed all your tips and it's really helping me given birth very fast watching all your videos, from labour ans even breastfeeding tips and this new video. I really love it. Godbless
I’ve been binge watching your channel for the last few weeks! 😍love it. I would ideally like to labor at home for as long as possible but with my last pregnancy my water broke and my dr told me to come into the hospital. She said there was no rush, I can shower if I wanted to but to come in. My question is, do I have to go to the hospital if my water breaks/starts leaking?? Or can I stay at home and wait for contractions to come? When I went to the hospital (with the last baby) I still wasn’t having contractions so they induce me- something I want to avoid this round.
I've heard getting a Corona virus test can take a couple hours before results get back, I would be worried that my husband would miss the birth if we waited until last minute 😬
I am a second time mom due early December. However, I am nervous about when to go to the hospital because last time my water broke and I was not having any contractions. I didn't start having any until hours later and a lot of pitocin.
I wish I stayed home with my first for a bit because I didn’t really know any better. My second I was induced at 41+5 and was 4 hours with strep b and third was induced at 41+3 only 1 1/2 hours with strep b. I’m now almost 34 weeks with number 4 so if I do go into labour naturally this time it might be a bit too risky 😬
I wish I had this for my first. I had stalled labor for 4 days, having contractions every 3-5 minutes for 2 hours and then it stopped. They just kept telling me to take Tylenol. Finally admitted me after day 4 and after 3 hours of pushing, with no midwives checking on me, they found that baby’s head was turned incorrectly. Due in 7 weeks and hoping for a vbac.
Same thing happened to me except that I was induced and labored in bed with no movement for two days with epidural and finally was told to push and midwife and her team didn’t know that something was wrong that baby turned his head on a side and got swollen head. A consultant came in and immediately said that something is wrong and she put a little camera and they saw that. Had a c section. Hoping for a VBAC now due in 8 weeks.

Yesssssss omg this is literally everything to me!!! So proud of you!!!!
This is great! I’m due in 3 weeks and my husband has been preparing for our home labor. He asked “what shows or movies do you want to watch during labor?” He also has my favourite drinks and snacks ready too! He’s been taking notes 😂
Thank you for being so positive and sharing this. I'm definitely less stressed ❤
I was NOT average. With my first my water broke at 11:30am. Contractions started at noon and I had my daughter at 3 😳. There’s no waiting with my current! Can’t wait to film this one too!
Me too
My active labour was barely two hours if that. And early labour which I slept the majority through, was maybe 5 to 7 hours.
Thank you so much for this video I’m due in 10 days!!! Gonna try to stay home till i can’t take it no more!
jewelsmakeuplove omg me too due in 10 days with my frst.God I am so scared 🥺
Me too baby #4 due in 7 days!
How did it go?
@@kashaijohnson3778 i was able to stay home for just as much as i could take. I was in labor for 22 hours!
@@jewelryboxlashes did baby come early or late?
You have such great energy. Currently 35 weeks pregnant! I appreciate your videos.
With my second I called my mom at 4:23pm saying i might possibly be in labour and she should come over just incase. i had my son at 5:27pm.... ahah almost didn't make it to the hospital. my 30 min labour at home was great though XD
Tamara Koshman Oh wow that makes me nervous now. I’m 35 weeks hoping my labor will be long enough to make it to the hospital lol
Lexi Brandi don’t be nervous! I was 2cm’s dilated and 40% effaced once I was 31weeks so I was on bedrest and at high risk for preterm labour. My situation definitely wasn’t normal lol
What did you do? I want to give birth as fast as yours. Im due this coming sept. 😊
Fashionably Jay awwww thank you so so much!! No stress you will do this! It’s going to be amazing!
I’ve been loving all of your videos. Your personality is so sweet and empowering.
Side note: Your skin looks amazing! 😍🤩
It’s that quarantine life girl!!
Bianca Love yesss she’s GLOWING
Yaass!! I love your skin Sarah!!
Was thinking the same thing. Can she drop a skin routine? These pregnancy hormones have me breaking out. Haha
I think I'm going to watch this video while I'm laboring at home.
I find it really calming😊
With my first baby, I had a mild back ache for 2 days and woke up on the 3rd day, thought I peed myself (it was my water) and within 45min my contractions were 5min apart and 1min long...I had zero time to prep at home before going to the hospital. Also, being my first, I wanted to be at the hospital asap (glad i did as baby was having a hard time in there). Hoping baby #2 due in 5 weeks will give me some more warning to stay at home 😅
I just found your channel. I’m due in 7 days. I’ve been binge watching all your videos! Thank you so much! ❤️
In person & virtual DOULA here 🙋🏽♀️.. all great tips
Callie Jay same here! Hope you get your vbac! Trying for one in June myself!
I had a VBAC with my second in January 2018!! It was such a surreal experience, you’ve got this mommas! I’m trying for a 2VBAC this time!
Agreed. Currently 34 wks and trying for a vbac myself.
what's a vbac?

Sara you are doing a very good job God bless you ❤
You're simply amazing Sarah. Thanks for all you do.
I so wish I had this video when I gave birth to my son in 2019!!! Getting ready for baby no2 and refreshing my memory 🥰
Thanks Sarah for all your videos, they should be made must watch for pregnant ladies, especially FTM like myself! I'm 38wks today and just can't wait to meet my little Pumpkin now 🥰
This may seem a little weird, but I feel like I'm going to miss Sarah when I'm not longer pregnant 😢
She's like the good friend that always mellows you out and keeps you in a positive headspace. Thank you for really helping me get through this pregnancy with a positive outlook throughout.
Flex & Flow doesn't just apply to pregnancy ☺
Which btw I truly believe she needs shirts made with that mantra ✨
Watching this during early labor ❤️
Thanks for the info..im due today!!..
BTW, you look great! Love that lipstick color!!
Hi Sarah, I have been watching your videos before I was even pregnant 👀, I am pregnant now with twins 😋, please do a video for twin pregnancy ..pls pls plssssss.
Wow, Congratulations!
It sucks that you’re not allowed in the hospital. I’m glad I live in a state that allows my doula to be in the hospital. Your videos are fantastic and I know I’d want you to be with my in the hospital. Currently binging your videos as I wait during my glucose test (started with those two vids😉 )
Appreciate your timely advice during quarantine! Love the way you share your expertise.
Yaaassss I love your videos so much. I’m due in 2 weeks exactly. I’m terrified lmaooo baby number 2!! WOOO
You got this!
So this is really helpful thank you
I’d love to see a video on virtual support!! This is a great video and perfectly timed since I’m due for my second baby in March
Freefallinmusic I’m in the same boat! If I go into labor on my own I’m going to try my best to listen to my body.
Watching this video at home while having regular contractions, lower back pain and cramps... It’s been like this for 15 hours now. I feel terrible!!! 😭
This helped me so much, thank you
Sarah, thank you so much.
Hey how did it go?
How about if you have GBS /strep b? How soon should I go?
Last night...i went into labor... and labored at home the whole day on june 15 and my contractions wer irregular.....im so excited...i gave birth natually at 6:30 am to a beautiful baby girl!! Her name is Leila...she is now 1 month old!! First time mom😁😁
Excited for baby number 2 at a natural birth center instead of hospital for round 2. Almost 32 weeks now. ❤
Thank you so much Sarah really appreciate this
I'm so nervous but this particular video helped me a lot cause having to deal with the pandemic and all isn't easy
Thanks again 😊
I’m on my 4th pregnancy and scared to stay too long at home this time around! I like laboring at home until the contractions are like 3-4 minutes apart.
Good thing I live down the street from the hospital now 😆.
I wouldn't exactly say "if your not sure it's labor it's not" my sister was in labor and was never sure and when we finally went to the hospital BECAUSE we WEREN'T sure she was 10 cm and gave birth within 20 minutes of being checked in
I feel like that is a rare case though, she is speaking on the generalization of labors and births. Not the extreme/rare cases that happen.
*Sarah's intro music starts playing*
Me: 💃🎺🥁💃🎺🥁💃
Hearing how long first time moms typically are in labor is crazy.
I was looking for a second perspective and found your comment. Thanks
Trying for a VBAC in June - would LOVE to stay at home as long as possible but also fearful I need to be monitored right away, right?!
I’m wondering the same thing. How are you doing now ?
love Your energy!
Did I mention it's my first time. . .
Samantha June where do you live?
Wow! That’s rough. If you need a friend, I’m here. I’m 30 weeks. C-Sections are prevalent in my country too. So I need to labour at home so that I have a better chance of natural birth. If I go in early and take long, they will make me have a C-Section
@@ascha730 Costa Rica
@@thequeenellah that sucks! And thanks! They said that given my medical history, they can't run risks and I do admit I am not a normal preggo lady but I've read cases of other parts of the world, drs treating people in my condition and they got to have vaginal births. My urologists just don't know what to do with me, they freaked when they found out I was pregnant and dont allow my obstetricians to have a normal delivery.
@Samantha I wish you all of the best. My hope and prayer is that you and your baby be safe and healthy.
Wished for this but had to be induced at week 40+5. Laboured for 26 hours . Induction with the gel it had to be redone after 10 hrs it hadn't worked .countless CTG during this time.
Haha i love the “suggestion” at the end! “Oh my gosh we have 500 cookies to take to the hospital and give to the nurses!”
What happens if you have group B step are you able to still labor at home. I’ve read that you need two doses of antibiotics for you to be in a safe zone. First time mom.
Are you having any sales or discounts on your birth classes? Also, which ones do you recommend the very most?
Brittney Welch I am!! saferarhome19 for 20% off!!! Def the all class bundle you’ll be set! I’d also add infant safety/cpr too!
First time here, i was due 23rd july, still waiting for those contractions 😅 lost mucus plug and have been feeling some pain here and there but it's been 3 days
We a need few clones of you in the world. Seriously I doubt my labour nurse will be as wonderful as you 😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
Aw thank you! Don’t doubt! There are tons of mes!
Whooooaa I am in 38 weeks today. 15 days to go! 2 cm when last checked. Yaaahooo!!
MELMUR4564 watch my warning signs video... short answer is if they’re moving you’re good
I was nervous to labor my 1st at home because I lived on the 3rd floor so I labored at Target 😂. I didnt want to get sent home for early labor. When I got to the hospital I was 6cm dilated.
😂😂😂 love it
I’m hoping to start labor at work, that way I have something to do. 😅
I’m going to try really hard to labor as much as I can this time around. It’s so difficult because we live an hour away from the hospital. :/
Thank you so much, I followed all your tips and it's really helping me given birth very fast watching all your videos, from labour ans even breastfeeding tips and this new video. I really love it. Godbless
Yay!!!!!
Thank you!
But if u stay at home till 6 cm, you do not know the descending position of the baby rt? What if its breech or some other position?
Should I still labor at home if I'm trying for a vbac in case of uterine rupture ?
Been having contractions back to back for 13 hours now 😫dilated a 3 70% effaced due tomorrow
They sent me home to labor longer
I've heard getting a Corona virus test can take a couple hours before results get back, I would be worried that my husband would miss the birth if we waited until last minute 😬
Is it a good idea to try and check for dilation while laboring at home. Or should we just leave that to the medical team once we get to the hospital?
Leave it to the professionals!
There are no subtitles?
I am a second time mom due early December. However, I am nervous about when to go to the hospital because last time my water broke and I was not having any contractions. I didn't start having any until hours later and a lot of pitocin.
I wish I stayed home with my first for a bit because I didn’t really know any better. My second I was induced at 41+5 and was 4 hours with strep b and third was induced at 41+3 only 1 1/2 hours with strep b. I’m now almost 34 weeks with number 4 so if I do go into labour naturally this time it might be a bit too risky 😬
Went in yesterday and found out I was only 2cm... I’ve been bouncing and walking around so hopefully I go in tonight or tomorrow
You say 6cm all the time - if we labor at home how do we know when we are at 6cm?
Your contractions will get more intense and closer together
