In this video we are swapping wheels on the new to me Camaro SS Convertible. You all know how I feel about black wheels and instead of buying replacements I thought I would just take the ones off of the Trans Am that is on the lift while it is still down. The torque Trust 2 is such a timeless wheel in my opinion. I have 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the rear. These are specific offset for a 4th gen fbody and fit great. Rear tires are 315/35s. After getting the wheels polished up and swap it is obvious that we need to drop this thing. It just looks goofy at the stock ride height. IMO, those TT's are the ticket! I also like the polished or chromed C4 ZR1 wheels on a Camaro. Looking forward to the suspension upgrades that are coming!

Guess who. I was almost interested in that front plate bracket until I saw it required drilling holes. Any non-intrusive method, sure, but I hate getting pulled over for no front plates.

I think I actually like the black wheels on the Camaro better, because of the black top. Better, as in better than on the T/A. That said, the polished wheels look better altogether than the black. Totally agree on lowering. Looks like you are starting a safari build with the current ride height…lol.

I agree on the black wheels not looking to part of the camaro but just my opinion don't take it personal I think those new wheels don't fit the camaro please find something that matches sell the black ones and keep the old school wheels on something old school

@@TWAMotorsports only one who has to like them is you 👍🏼. Looking forward to seeing it lowered on UMI springs. I got my hands on a set of original SLP blue springs made by Eibach which are supposed to only be a 1 inch drop. I might end up taking my Strano springs to lift it some.
