I really enjoy the small nick-nacks that I have strewn across my desk. I’m always fidgeting with them, and it just makes sitting at my desk a little more enjoyable. Sure, they’re distracting and definitely contribute to my procrastination, but hey… they’re fun! I wanted to build 3 small wooden puzzles to add to the collection, and they turned out great! All three of the puzzles are excellent to challenge your friends with, to give away as gifts, or to sell at craft fairs!
00:00 - Intro
00:21 - Puzzle Cube
06:43 - Oliver String Puzzle
11:47 - Star Puzzle
17:35 - Outtakes
DISCLAIMER: The following video shows the solutions to the three puzzles that I made in this build video. Only watch the solutions video if you want to spoil the challenge of figuring out the puzzles on your own.

The humor in these videos is top-notch. And those projects are a step above as well Drew nice work buddy
Thanks! I appreciate that! :)
So cool to see two of my favorite makers hanging together on the interwebz.
@@tlynch918 I concur 100%
My wife edits for my channel and loves to put my bloopers at the end as well. 🤣. Loved the first one!
My favorite part of the first one is that you HAVE to solve it before you can put it up. So if you give it to someone as a gift without giving them the solution, and they can't figure it out, it'll just stay there on their desk in pieces, nagging at them forever as an endless symbol of your love. ❤️
Haha, yup!
I learn and laugh at each one of your videos. Your son's reaction was priceless. My son is 24 and he doesn't like to sand either! :) Thank you Drew. :)
Thanks a bunch! :)
Love that time and effort in designing a jig can make making multiple projects, Fisher is so entertaining and creative keep up the great work
Glad you enjoy it!
I have been jonesing for a new video from Drew. Always enjoy watching, learning, and laughing as you go through a build. Entertaining and informative as always. Some of the best content on YT for sure.
Thanks 👍 Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Fisher, thank goodness your back. We were getting worried. 👍👍 The zebra wood is my fav too. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks 👍
My dear old Dad used to make these sort of puzzles without power tools. Thank you for this video, brings back the memories of better days.
Glad you enjoyed it
"Crap! Crap! Crappity crapsticks!" Hahaha! Someone needs to teach you some new curse words, like 'Dagnabbit', Or 'William Shatner'...
Love the puzzles, had some like them when I was a kid. Brings back great memories, thank you!
You're welcome. Glad you liked it
Beautiful work, Drew! Well done! 😃
Glad to see that " No Neighbore" wood donation required... 😉
Thanks Drew for the awesome work!
LLAP 🖖
Thanks a bunch!
Nice work. Pretty sure walnut coins are already worth more than a loonie.
Haha! Thanks for watching, Brad
I am so going to make the ring and walnut coins puzzle. Then give them to my little cousins, sit back with a beer, and watch them struggle trying to figure it out. I'm a horrible cousin but at least I'm entertained. oh and nice work as always.
Thanks, Stephen!
Fun one, Drew. I enjoyed the premiere.
Bill
Thanks, Bill!
The commentary alone was worth it. Thanks for the upload!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love these little puzzles! I think the little star ones are my favorite.
Thanks, man! Those little guys definitely required the most work!
Love the puzzles and the jokes. Nicely done.
Thanks!
You didn't pilfer your lumber from the neighbor? Why? Best prices ever at that particular store!
I just had one of those days in the shed; seeing your out-takes from a real pro, helps me get back the energy to try again. Respect. Thank you.
You bet! Thanks for watching
We enjoy watching your videos. The puzzles look great.
T hanks!
Sweet!!!
Thanks for watching!
I can squeeze one more out! That made me laugh out loud.
Hehehe, me too. Couldn't stop snickering as I was editing that in.
Very good. Love the puzzles. I always look forward to your videos. You always have great little gems that help out, such as marking out your slots in the second puzzle. Add in the humor…. Thanks.
Glad you like them!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Awesome so glad your back! These would drive my grandson crazy 😜
You crack me up Drew.... great video mate (y)

Thanks a lot!
I haven't laughed this much at any other woodworking video, Thank you so much! I must say that you are truly talented in what you are designing, the jigs, the puzzles and it's all Awesome and it's just fantastic to see how much you enjoy whilst making them all. Thanks so much for sharing this, I will definitely never forget this video in my entire life.

Great idea with the walnut coins! Way to be prepared!!
That could be my desk, love this!

That zebrawood puzzle looks amazing!

Welcome aboard!
I'm apparently here to watch the Poker Stabber Brush Thingy. Kudos.
Crappity Crapsticks is now my new favorite phrase. Thanks Drew!
"...it makes the glue delicious" 🤣🤣🤣
😁
nice work in post-production!
Much appreciated!
He’s hilarious 😂
And wow is he good at his job
My god the skill
And that last puzzle was so amazing
Again I always enjoy watching your videos and what great little projects those puzzles are. I'm glad you you the outtakes as they must make my day. Thank you good sir
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching
Awesome video Drew! The puzzles are beautifully done! And I appreciate that you throw in some comedy in your videos!
Glad you like them!
I love your humor and your projects. I look forward to your videos!
Thank you so much!
Commented on one of your other videos. Forgot to mention that I love the outakes which help show that we all make similar mistakes - nbothing ever goes 100% smoothly. I really like your content and delivery a lot.
Thanks for that!
When you said your son left you, I felt that one. My son does the exact same!
Drew, your projects are always so well thought out and great, even when you make bloopers. Your humor is absolutely seamless. It cracks me up when you let a deadpan joke go and I'm on a five second delay like, "What did he just say?" I had to pause the video when you made the joke about your head being in the way because I was laughing too hard to hear the video. This is my legitimately my favorite UA-cam channel.
Haha, thanks Jamie! :)
It's a pleasure watching giggles included 😊 😄
Glad you liked it, Tom
Beautiful work, Drew! Nicely done! 😃
I'm definitely going to make some of those!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks a bunch! Have fun making them
Fantastic as always. Glad to see these come together after seeing bits on Instagram!
Thanks, Ben!
I like them all. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
Thank you! You too!
There are some woodworkers here on UA-cam that make some pretty cool stuff but you my friend, are an artist. The cool thing though is that every one of your projects is attainable.
I have a handful of channels that I always watch and this is one of them.
Thanks 👍
love your videos! Thank you so much for useful tips and also all the laughs!
You bet! Thanks, Dave
Awesome
Thanks
Yes another video 👍👍👍
Two videos in a day!!!
I'm not convinced that this is a genuine Fisher's Shop video. You didn't "borrow" any lumber from you neighbor. Not sure I've ever seen that before.
First time for everything
Navy Pier Chicago t-shirt with no bullet holes. It’s a collector’s item.
Great little projects, and the humor you put in these always makes me laugh! Gotta love squeezing one more out 6:25!
Hehe, thanks!
Glue is already delicious!
very cool
Awesome video. I really do like how you put your videos together with the talk over explanations. If these plans are available I will have to grab them. These are awesome little projects and I love puzzles. Keep up the great work Sir.
Glad you like them!
Crapitty Crap Sticks is my new favorite not so bad swear!!! Love the videos and your humor. Keep up the good work!
Haha, thanks!
I feel like that’s all of us using a compass. That had me rolling! Great video as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
You're casually funny which actually makes you funny... great work btw
Thanks
shop buddy #1 looks just like you LOL, love the videos and the humor. thanks Drew!
You bet, thanks!
I like the idea of the walnut coins!
That time when the jig takes longer to build than the puzzle, haha
Exactly!
Thumbs up star puzzle Drew - love it. And that crazy walking trick, I am def going to steal that one. Maybe have my son pull me with a piece of string.
Thanks, Matthew
Another awesome video and I'm sure these would be great gifts or conversation pieces to have around! I'll have to try the "great tasting glue" with table salt. I always thought it needed some seasoning so glad I know the secret now!
Hehe, thanks Lori
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much!
These are all great. I need to grab a set of plans for next winter. Thanks for another highly entertaining video. I loved the part where you clay-mated yourself.
Haha, that was mainly just an experiment to see how it would look.
Love the watch the video and your skill level from Western Australia. You are a good woodworker. Surprised to here you have Australian Jara, blunts the tools quick.
Yeah, I forget where I got it but It's not bad to work with, I like it.
Bro, very creative! great video.
Appreciate it!
Absolutely beautiful work, good sir. Thank you again for a wonderful video. God bless you and keep you.
Thank you kindly
that last puzzle, you could probably use old Lincoln logs no longer being used. :)
So awesome
Your videos are so worth the wait!
Glad you like them!
Another great video! Thanks Drew!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome gifts...and CRAPPITY CRAP STICKS!!!
Hola! 🖐 These are really, really cool! I have not seen these little puzzles before. I will have to get the details so that I can mess up a few before getting it right for some nice gifts. Thanks for the idea and thanks for the video. Take care and have a good one, Adios! 👊
Glad you like them!
Beautiful puzzles!
Thank you 🤗
If they ever do a remake of A Christmas Story, your son could be cast as Ralphie
He'd shoot his eye out
I most appreciate you learned how to pronounce Jarrah like a true Aussie :D 🤣👏
I just said it five times out loud the wrong way to infuriate you.
Those puzzles look great, and it’s cool to see other kinds of projects! Would be awesome to see you make puzzle boxes with secret mechanisms, springs, magnets, sliding parts... anyway, love your channel :)
I like this job,puzzle and your equipment/tools😍😘👍
Nicely done, love the bloopers at the end Drew!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great job..cool stuff👍
Thanks 👍
Love it. Lots of fun. Could go for a Vol. 2 with other puzzles in the future if your up for it.
10:22 I don't recall seeing the use of Robertson screws in this channel. What gives? That's a great example of Canadian ingenuity.
Fun,fun,fun, 😊
" I can squeeze one more out...." Dear lord, now I can't drink my coffee OR finish the video! Hanky please....
I worked with a guy that would bring these type of puzzles in and we'd all try to solve them. I didn't do to bad but if you brought one in for him to solve it'd be done in the blink of an eye. Of course I do them in front of my 6 year old son and he is amazed that I get them done so fast. Great video as always!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
Great video Drew! Even threw in some stop motion. Excellent puzzles!
Thank you 🤗
Top marks for the awesome stop motion photography at around 12:00.
Haha, I was experimenting and it turned out kinda neat
Lol, he’s your boy alright!
Your "puzzle cube" is a Soma cube. We had a plastic one back in the '70s. I'm tempted to make one where each piece is made out of individual cubes of different woods. It would be easier to sand the individual cubes, and if the edges and corners are slightly rounded, would give each piece (and the assembly) a nice bit of texture.
Its nice creation , useful item for everyone👍👍👍
super effort
Thanks a lot
Very nice puzzles. I like the tiger wood.
Thank you 🤗
Always awesome work.
Thank you so much 😀
I like the diagonal burr puzzle the most
I recommend the harbor freight mini lathe to start out. It was a really great and fun tool for me.
Great Video Drew. BTW, blades with anti-kickback shoulders are not recommended for SawStop saws. They slow the engagement of the break and can increase your risk of injury.
Yeah, I know. But I live on the edge.
