some ppl like the take away more than the normal 'eat there' version, because the take-away continues to steam in the packet and it makes it more saucy, so some ppl like it better like that
Love all the sounds in this video, the fire, clay pot lid, the rice and water being poured, etc. The rice is supposed to absorb the smoky aromas through the clay, want to taste it some day.
Beyond greatness, succulent pieces of tender moist chicken with gorgeous vegetables, flavourful sauce and nice crisped white rice. That's perfect clay pot cooking!
I WANT TO TRY THIS MALAYSIAN STREET FOODS WHEN WE HAVE A CHANCE TO VISIT MALAYSIA AGAIN. BEEN THERE YEAR 2019. COUNTRY IS BEAUTIFUL AND ACCOMMODATING TO VISITORS..
Love it. The only reason to use a claypot is to get the crispy rice chunks at the bottom of the claypot. It doesn't taste the same when I tried to cook this kind of rice in metal pot.
Claypot rice is very fragrant and delicious... I had that quite often... Some hawkers will add in a little of salted fish and brings you to another level of deliciousness.... 😁
