很多香港广东认为这是煲仔饭，但味道相似但不相同。马来西亚我们叫瓦煲鸡饭，顾名思义就是以鸡肉为主，腊肠为一定配料，也很多人喜欢加咸鱼。
和香港的自加酱油吃法不同，瓦煲鸡饭出锅味道已经调好，主要以酱香味为主，味道会比香港来的重。
至于饭焦，其实不是很重要的衡量，只要鸡肉腌制的好，用好品质的香米并且煮的软硬适中，酱汁调的够味均衡，可为好的瓦煲鸡饭

I hope places like this continue to thrive. They're doing things the old school way by cooking on those little burners with charcoal. And, everything looks wonderfully delicious too. The claypot rice dishes and the soups. They even remove the casing from the Chinese sausage so that they are more aesthetically appealing. Nobody would do that at home, really.

Think the casing prevents/reduces the oily flavour from getting into the rice, greatly enhancing its taste. Never thought about this. Ingenius idea,,,,willl copy it in future.
