      I've just watched the Netflix documentary on this case. It was very good. I knew she was dead when her mum said she hadn't seen her in over a year. And no one seemed to have seen her. Liz Golyer was then the only person that could have been doing the harassing (as strange as it seemed). The Police should have done far more to try to track Cari down as a Missing person but they assumed that because there were messages from her phone that she was alive.

    • @kallenyc
      @kallenyc 4 місяці тому

      💯 If you Google the case and read the article about key pieces of information not in the documentary, you'll see that Golyar sent Cari's job a resignation email (as Cari) and named Shanna Golyar (her real name) as her replacement. How could the cops have overlooked this? Mayberry bumbos. If the 2nd team hadn't taken the case on, it never would have been solved. Poor mother of Cari Farver. 😥 Her daughter got mixed up with a dude who would stick his dick into anything and this is what happened.

      Her first child was killed by her when he was a few months old. Cody Nathaniel Goyler's cause of death was shaken baby syndrome, and she blamed it on her intellectually disabled boyfriend. She worked the detectives in that case just like she did in this case, and her boyfriend went to prison for the death of her infant son. He served his sentence and is now out of prison but he has said that she called him at work and told him that she accidentally dropped the baby. She told her boyfriend that the baby was non-responsive so she shook him to get him to breathe, and he started breathing but died the next day. The detectives believed her story instead of the boyfriends and she got away with that murder.

      Idk.. I thought that joke was pretty tasteless. I don’t like sarcastic or snarky comments involving anyone who isn’t the “villain” in these analysis videos; even if it’s supposed to be a “joke”. The snide comments about Anna Nicole Smith in her video really rubbed me the wrong way and I felt like the joke about “no homicidal stalker” checkbox was unnecessary and kinda cruel. The guy didn’t know how mentally ill and unstable Goylar was and he didn’t do anything to warrant any of her actions against himself, others, and even animals in her pursuit of keeping him in her life. I don’t know if he carries any guilt from what happened but regardless, it wasn’t his fault for trying to find love online and for assuming that his dates were not going to be murderous stalkers. That being said; I do laugh at the jabs he makes at the obviously bad people in the videos as long as the jokes aren’t making fun of their appearance or any type of handicap/disability (which to my knowledge, Dr Grande has never done). I know I sound like such a party pooper but the snark in this video really did bother me and your comment was the first one that mentioned the specific joke so I felt like you’d be a good person to share my feelings with. Which makes me sound like I have a few loose screws but I don’t have a plethora of people to discuss Dr Grande videos with, lol.

    Another interesting, elucidating and edifying video by Dr. Grande! And, an important warning about the destructive force of jealousy. Sadly, this case is somewhat resonant of the Chris Watts case in that there were no indicators that either would perpetrate murder so the victim could neither prevent nor take measures to protect themselves from such violent acts.
    As always, many thanks for all the valuable lessons and insight you share with us!😊

    So interested in your analysis of this woman, for lack of a better term. 🙄 I've seen this case covered before by various true crime channels, and just CANNOT believe the lengths this woman went to...she was OBSESSED. And poor Cari...just an innocent sucked into her terrible web of craziness. My heart breaks for her family. Its unbelievable that Liz got away with all she did for so long. That blows my mind.
    Edit: Is it mean for me to also add that I think Kroupa must have been the most gullible and stupid man alive for not noticing some of the OBVIOUS signs that Liz was behind this craziness? Just my humble opinion.

I've read of several cases of stalkers using apps for their new playground. John Meehan scared the heck out of me.

      extensive background checks are costly. people wouldn't agree to them. go ahead, make a dating site that demands real life many months-long taking background check, and see how many registers.
