Im an amature ableton producer but every time listening to BT it is utterly amazing to hear all these amazing sounds he pulls off and the ability to make them soooo clear and crisp. Literally up there with han zimmer and other greats for paving the way in beautiful house music and overall one music love connecting us all
true.. if we're talking about electronic music, you may want to try Klaus Wiese, Mathias Grassow, Oophoi, GAS, Vladislav Delay, Bvdub, Klaus Schulze, Rod Modell, Steven Hitchell, the list goes on
Huge fan of 'This Binary Universe' so I was super excited to hear this new one. Looking forward to buying on vinyl also. Awesome work as always BT. Always present but always elevating and evolving ahead of the game.
Great to see your still keeping to your origins Brian. It's sad to see so many brilliant artists go down a different path and lost their direction (aka Robert Miles). Never lose your drive to keep your legacy alive. We wait for you to shout and we're always there to listen. Your album "Electronic Opus" is fantastic, anyone who hasn't heard it definitely needs to grab a copy.
13 years later, Today , I owe my Indie Game Development career to BT. Thanks for the taste , sound, algorithm , science. My God what a trip it has been. Still God.
Ahh, cool! Really nice shot - and the way the camera picked up the sun was awesome... makes the sun look like the big fireball that it is and not just a really bright circle in the sky.
Another milestone by Brian. I cannot decide if I like 'omega' or 'gathering darkness' more. Both take listener on journey and tell a story with notes instead of words.
I like this song. I don't like the version I got on Amazon where it's cut into 9 distinctly separate pieces. I'm actually kind of irritated a continuous mix version wasn't included on that album!
I like this dude he's kinda like my mentor Andre Lewis aka MANDRE to which daft punk stole their whole look from but no his sound thank God. Dre had a pulse on mysteriousness and alien soundscapes check ok Ilse Dan's lespace Maximus lite and my joint doing nothing nothing doing. it's rare you find a cat that can give you that otherworldly sound experience BT is one of those guys
Recent BT works look like he is trying to do 'something else'. But, for me, he is just making songs which are too long and bit boring I think. It doesn't have enough power to listen as a ambient, and it's too complicated as a dance music. The album THM had a same tendency but it was way more melodic and well produced. but this...I am not sure.
Honestly, I love _, These Hopeful Machines, ITSAESAYAI, and Morceau Subrosa way more than I like his "mainstream" stuff. Movement in Still Life is my least favorite album from BT. Maybe it's because I discovered him late, but I simply can't get enough of this side of his music. And he's the only artist I've found who makes music of this kind I can truly enjoy. I wouldn't classify this as ambient; I think it has too much going on in it. And it definitely isn't dance in the way that A Song Across Wires is. I think it's far from boring, but hey. Different strokes for different folks.
Honestly this track is very disappointing - Does not do justice to the "Prophet" "Visionary" "Maven" "Auteur" BT is capable of producing much better music. Struggled to get past the 1st minutes - after that the music's better. Compare this with Skylarking - I wonder if it's the same BT . It's ok to experiment but this ? I wonder in what state of mind was it produced.
BT is a music experimenter, he would go beyond lengths to explore what's called "electronic" sounds, he had his glory with trance and progressive for decades, now it's time for him to move on and try something new. Besides he still makes trance sounds for Armada and Black Hole.

BT is one of a kind. ❤
Adhd works wonders in this case ❤
No other human has created music more life changing than Brian. Thank you

that's so fucking real bro...at least, he changed my life and that's enough for me
Very very true
G. Mahler
If aliens were trying to communicate with us, I think they would think BT is our leader. I'd oblige.

I'm so glad I bought nice headphones! This music is so beautiful and different from everything I've heard!
this is a stunning arrangement and it rivals if not surpasses This Binary Universe as my favorite.
13 years later, Today , I owe my Indie Game Development career to BT. Thanks for the taste , sound, algorithm , science. My God what a trip it has been. Still God.
Day is officially made... Thank you, Brian!!!
BT puts everything he has into his music and you can tell ;)
This is one of the most outstanding albums I've ever heard
Incredible. It's a bit like experiencing Soarin' at the Disney parks. The closing shot over the iced waters is pretty amazing.
Daniel Simon it was actually salt...not ice. I got really lucky with that shot on the Great Salt Lake near the Spiral Jetty!
Ahh, cool! Really nice shot - and the way the camera picked up the sun was awesome... makes the sun look like the big fireball that it is and not just a really bright circle in the sky.
This song never gets old for me.
This is like a whole Sasha album in one tune.
Brian, ty for this! Truly one of a kind.
Mind Blown AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a surprising piece of art!
I love how at the end the music ends but the video keeps going into that sunset.
same here,man.
Loved the sunset.
Top record! Thumbs up for this little gem
Another milestone by Brian. I cannot decide if I like 'omega' or 'gathering darkness' more. Both take listener on journey and tell a story with notes instead of words.
This is by far the hottest electro track produced this decade
Sick song. Tough name search for on spotify
Woah... Another mind blowing piece of work from the master. Amazing.
Still sounds great from here in 2019
This is the best most intelligently produced piece of music I have ever heard

Ω for Ωραίο μουσικό κομμάτι!
beautifully executed.
this song is of Brian transeau ?
nahuel gargiulo Yes
Yes :)
No it's not. It is ghost produced.
ghost produced by a clone of BT, maybe
What the hell makes anyone think BT, with all his integrity, is incapable of producing this himself?
Lots of fans out there. I named my kid after BT's! Top that!
That was awesome!
this is a piece of ART...
BT is dope!
so good
BT's music is what an Aquarius sign is all about.
I like this song. I don't like the version I got on Amazon where it's cut into 9 distinctly separate pieces. I'm actually kind of irritated a continuous mix version wasn't included on that album!
bn a fan scince 98 when i got god speed on 12" but this omega thing right here holy crap its good, really really good.

5:37 is my shit!
This is probably my favorite BT song ever.
his whole discography is something else but yes this one tops in my list . Fucking choon.
I agree! This is something else!
soundbreaking!
Круто!!! ;-)
Why does it sound like an episode of How It's Made?
#goosebumpseverynowandthen
Do you pronounce this one "Ohm" or "Omega" ?
It's "Ohm".
Dyari Rakautau i believe it's Omega and not Ohm. In the greek alphabet it is the omega symbol...
Bob Bayer he said on his facebook to call it ohm. or maybe on his AMA. saw it somewhere from him though.
Isaak Welch cool thanks
Dubstep? No. It's something much better...
Is BT, bitches!!
6abbo Its Glitch... 👏
ooohhh. That intro caught me off guard. Definitely not like Artifacture.

Why the dislikes tho
Ω - omega - ωμέγα the last letter of the Greek alphabet
can't help draw parallels to Aphex Twin
this guy still uses FL Studio ???
ableton and logic . he got whole nasa in his basement.

+Isaak Welch I think it's left field prog house
don't listen if you don't like it
オメガ
5:38
ohms
Song starts at ~1:54.
not feeling it , i'll wait till not drunk
Impeccable production skills, but it's too schizoid. Made for ADD-riddled folks. Just make it shorter and stick to one theme.
>For ADD riddled folks
>Is 15 minutes long with just scenery in the video
OP has downs.
chill guys, no fight here please, we all love music in a different way. You dont need to say mean thing.

Listen to This Binary Universe.
Skylarking isn't anything special either. Binary Universe is definitely an album of note you should check.
