Also can we all appreciate the fact that there is 8 minutes of harmonic tension before the tonic presents itself? It's like hiking up a mountain and finally turning around when you reach the peak, mind blown from the majestic, expansive wonder.
By definition dubstep's primary attribute is a halftime rhythm at around 140 bpm with it's secondary attribute being heavy or deep basslines. People hate on dubstep because of a stigma birthed from oversaturation in the edm scene and the majority of dubstep lacking soul. Honor the composition. This may technically be considered dubstep but the name doesn't even come close to doing this song justice, over 5 years later. BT is on a cosmic level.
I'm not going to post a comment ahead of yours because what you have said deserves to be right on top. BT should be celebrated as a modern-day Beethoven - he really is in that class; I'm not sure some people quite 'get it' that way yet. But they might - 'IF' there really is hope for the human race and the human mind in terms of its ability and capacity to evolve upwards.
The true definition of dub step birthed from South London sounds nothing like the sugar candy pop music America has contributed. B T is exceptional in all music genres but America is soley responsible for destroying electronic music as an underground movement!
Somehow, this song made me understand and accept the loss of my father. He was a very complex person and carried a lot of demons, but I chose to believe during his last moments, he was with me, wishing I were there. I will see you in the next life, and everything will be different, better. Godspeed, father.
One of my favourite songs PERIOD. The atmospheric intro is beautiful and astonishing. The buildup is beautiful and atmospheric as hell. The drop is intense and catchy. The short interlude before the first drop is incredible. The 14 minute length time is spot on for this type of track. The ending is sad, yet incredibly touching. Nothing wrong with this track at all.
I'm a fairly bleak person. BT is one of the few musicians who occasionally manages to get me to fully appreciate something beautiful, and this video isn't an exception.
Best dubstep song I've ever heard. Approximately 8 minutes of epic ambient glitches and precisely crafted dubstep parts will give you goosebumps every time i listen to it.
Prepare to be blown away. And don't get impatient. The beginning is excellent, but more traditional. By the time it gets to the end your socks melt off. Or something like that. I sure hope I get to meet up with Randy Halverson some day. I am a newbee at timelapse and his stuff makes me want to hide away. I LOVE THIS> Thanks Randy.
This buildup is still so ridiculously worth the wait. The video also really delivers on the vibes, this is Earth music. God is near me when I hear this. 🙏❤
While I don't begrudge fans of dubstep their passion, I'm personally not a fan, and BT was always to me the one DJ who could write something amazing, something that makes me smile or touches me in some fantastic way. I feel like the change it goes through about 8 minutes in just pulls me out of the wonder I was feeling before it.
This is one one of the best tracks I've ever heard in any electronic music genre also the best Music Video been listening and watching it for the past 5 years over and over
People, don't pretend that this is not dubstep just because is BT... IT IS dubstep, you cannot be so deft to not hear that rhythm and basses, yet... Is not like all that disturbing dubstep you'll hear anywhere else with really toxic effects and stuff. It's always good to hear BT trying new styles because he has not a specific genre like the other commercial artists, he do whatever he wants with any genre, and that is to be a true musician (in electronic music).
Atmospheric and amazing, that is what BT is all about. This video by itself defines a journey without words, until the last note plays. Even with words, its so eclectic it can't be defined, it just is.
This is one of the best electronic songs I've ever heard ... ultra relaxing beginning, soothing piano in the middle, badass atmospheric climax @8:13 ... and a peaceful ending ... perfect composition. Pure art.
Epic!! The contrast between a single plant in a crop with the incomprehensible size of the Milky Way in the photography is superb, and of course, the music is a perfect compliment!!
The most amazing stunningly visual music video I have ever seen, I have never seen the stars like that ever. The music complimented the visualizations to no end what more can I say? @BT is the most creative audio genius of this century and he keeps on pioneering innovation through his music, add to this the stunning photography in this video and you have a masterclass in both the audio and visual stimulus. One of many masterpieces by my hero Brian Transeau. And one of many many more to come.
The ethereal visuals bring the haunting, audio tapestry of 13 Angels On My Broken Windowsill to life. Love the time lapse photography. This video was a feast for the eyes and ears. Great job BT. I've been a huge fan of your music since hearing your epic opus, ima.
I can never see the MilkyWay when I gaze out of my window. I always imagined of how it would be, while listening to TBU and ITSAESAYAI from BT. Now I know. I know how insignificantly small I am in This Binary Universe (Couldn't resist). Thank you BT, and thanks to Randy Halverson. Beautiful.
This is not dubstep, this is not progressive, this is out of out of this earth. We should be so thankful that such brilliance is playfully toying with the universe in the midst of our presence.
This beautiful composition showcasing BT's incredible versatility and creativity, when combined with such stunning photography, results in nothing short of an audiovisual masterpiece.
Wow, anyone else catch the giant buck off in the distance that briefly pops into frame at 6:48? On the horizon, just slightly to the right of where the sun is rising.
Dammit BT, you're gonna make me gush. I've been listening to you for a while now, and your evolution as an artist has been astounding. You've gone from better-than-average club trance to a master of subtly and still continue to evolve. Please, for the love of humanity (or at least my selfish little niche), continue.
Absoultely stunning audio track and visuals. Totally blows my mind. Everytime I watch it I spot something that I didn't spot previously. Well done Brian and Randy.
bt is always thinking beyond everybody, sound and músic máster!! enjoy!! please dont see if you are looking To dance and not To simply enjoy, this is To disconnect yourself
I must add, he does a fine job, he still keeps his ambiental style like you hear on this track, in other words he hasn't change, he is just trying new stuff. Must like this ambiental dubstep, not comparing with the toxic ones.
This was truly incredible. It's funny how we forget to appreciate the beauty that's all around us, I think i'm going to go outside and look at the stars now.
Superb - Fantastic One Of Best Videos I've Ever Seen since 2-3 past years as a Music Video specially in electronic music Ambient Music Mixture With Space Is Very Good But Very Common but i wracked myself when Dubstep Part Of The Track Mixed With The Soothing Pictures Of Natue Very Well Oh My God It's Just Amazing Superb!
The old ruined houses frozen in time while time is sped up in the heavens (the stars moving fast). That was beautiful. Showing time moving fast (the clouds moving fast) while the sunflowers move. That was beautiful. I especially liked contrasting that old swing set frozen in time whilst the heavens move by at a hyper pace. At about 6:00 I can't listen to it anymore.
I hope years from now BT gets recognition among the likes of Chopin, Mozart, and any other great composer from all the history of music you can name drop in here. This song is fucking sick!
Probably in my top 3 favorite BT songs.
Also can we all appreciate the fact that there is 8 minutes of harmonic tension before the tonic presents itself? It's like hiking up a mountain and finally turning around when you reach the peak, mind blown from the majestic, expansive wonder.
Hey it’s so nice to finally see a top producer praising another in the comments section. 👌
When you think about it, delaying the tonic really is a brilliant move - dubstep is so tonic heavy as a genre. Keeps it fresh for the drop.
And much like climbing a mountain, it's about the journey. If you just get a helicopter to drop you at the top, it has nowhere near the same impact.
What on earth is 'jjhhg??' I never wrote that!
The true definition of dub step birthed from South London sounds nothing like the sugar candy pop music America has contributed. B T is exceptional in all music genres but America is soley responsible for destroying electronic music as an underground movement!
@@patricktribe5580 Indeed it has. That's like saying "time is solely responsible for destroying children". Yes, it has evolved them into adults
Somehow, this song made me understand and accept the loss of my father. He was a very complex person and carried a lot of demons, but I chose to believe during his last moments, he was with me, wishing I were there. I will see you in the next life, and everything will be different, better. Godspeed, father.
I think this is my all time favourite video ever added to UA-cam. An absolute triumph of music, film and editing. A true masterpiece.
Yes!
Are you kidding me? This is the most progressive dubstep I have ever heard in my entire life. This is amazing.
"This Binary Universe" was one of my favourites album.
Here is the reincarnation...
Brian, your talent will never die.
Outstanding work.
This video shows how amazingly beautiful our planet and our universe is without humans.
Without incredibly talented humans, we would never see stuff like this.
rpmpv1 Agreed
Beautiful!!! I'd buy the DVD! God Bless You on Jesus' Name.
BT is a legend. Enough said!!!
Out on a limb... My all time favorite time lapse EVER. And the silhouette of the deer near the end. Like a holy visitation.
TIMELESS. Not just in my top 5 bt productions, but in my top 5 electronic...
Wake n bake to all of these videos
This is a masterpiece
I'm a fairly bleak person. BT is one of the few musicians who occasionally manages to get me to fully appreciate something beautiful, and this video isn't an exception.
If the stars are eternal so are you and I
silverflashwillo123 nothing is eternal
Ohh ok :-D
Best dubstep song I've ever heard.
Approximately 8 minutes of epic ambient glitches and precisely crafted dubstep parts will give you goosebumps every time i listen to it.
Jaw dropping ambience and scale, masterfully crafted tension and release. It's hard to choose favorites but im always in the mood for this song
Goosebumps. Head to toe. Seriously.
Track of the decade
Gorgeous, love the musical dynamics, mood set. The layering, pattern, texture, lighting and movement in the imagery, trance. ty BT and All :)
This buildup is still so ridiculously worth the wait. The video also really delivers on the vibes, this is Earth music. God is near me when I hear this. 🙏❤
Omg... the footage and the track! I'm in heaven alright... BT, your art has touched the hearts of many :] Myself included. Thank you.
BT never ceases to amaze and astound. Truly one of the modern day Mozarts.
This is one one of the best tracks I've ever heard in any electronic music genre also the best Music Video been listening and watching it for the past 5 years over and over
BT shows what dubstep, a very formulaic genre, can be in the hands of a master.
People, don't pretend that this is not dubstep just because is BT... IT IS dubstep, you cannot be so deft to not hear that rhythm and basses, yet... Is not like all that disturbing dubstep you'll hear anywhere else with really toxic effects and stuff. my favorite part is from 0:00 to 13:46
OH SHIT, really??? That's my favourite part too!!!!!
Atmospheric and amazing, that is what BT is all about. This video by itself defines a journey without words, until the last note plays. Even with words, its so eclectic it can't be defined, it just is.
when the song is so long there's an ad halfway through
not that the length is bad, this is amazing (as usual from bt)
We're not worthy! We're not worthy!
This is incredible.
BT you are a great DJ, thanks for all.
This is one of the best electronic songs I've ever heard ... ultra relaxing beginning, soothing piano in the middle, badass atmospheric climax @8:13 ... and a peaceful ending ... perfect composition. Pure art.

Brian Wayne.....you have done it again. Right on !!
Seriously one of the best music video's ever in my opinion
The ethereal visuals bring the haunting, audio tapestry of 13 Angels On My Broken Windowsill to life. Love the time lapse photography. This video was a feast for the eyes and ears. Great job BT. I've been a huge fan of your music since hearing your epic opus, ima.
Wow simply amazing! Such beatiful feelings when you see this video while hearing this masterpiece. I want to be in that places doing nothing.
Timelapse in its finest moment! Art of BT.. a so unique artist!
BT showing the dubstep composers he's light years ahead of them in skill lol.
now seriously, this is something else altogether! superb work from BT once again.
proof that no body has to stick to one genre...
Incredible! Mind blowing! Watch it on a big screen people and pump up the volume!
Pure aural bliss - beyond brilliance
I can never see the MilkyWay when I gaze out of my window. I always imagined of how it would be, while listening to TBU and ITSAESAYAI from BT. Now I know. I know how insignificantly small I am in This Binary Universe (Couldn't resist). Thank you BT, and thanks to Randy Halverson. Beautiful.

words cannot describe how this track makes me feel...
This video is outstanding. Perfect in 1080p. Just watch and appreciate this full length video as its very rare.
Its Magnificent its calm and soothing, yet hardcore and brutal with the dubstep which makes it a gr8 collaboration, its beautiful!!!!
Wow, anyone else catch the giant buck off in the distance that briefly pops into frame at 6:48? On the horizon, just slightly to the right of where the sun is rising.

Beautiful! Haunting. Timeless.
Then they are missing out! Awesome treat by BT!
One of the most underrated artist. So much depth and beauty in his songs. Love BT
From Ima to Indivism, everything the man does is sublime.
16 years after first discovering BT (escm), his music still kicks ass!
Awesome.
Simply beautiful
One of the most beautiful/phenomenal, things I've ever seen. This is a work of art. BT IS A GOD!!
BT, loving the direction, stay focused and keep it up
LOL, I just posted on another BT video how BT's ESCM was the album that turned me on to trance music too! He will always be one of my favourites!
dizzying magnificent special piece of work. Cannot wait to see and listen on a good system,,, the album is wonderful but this is just sublime.
Amazing tune, who knew dubstep sounds could sound good. Only BT!
Absoultely stunning audio track and visuals. Totally blows my mind. Everytime I watch it I spot something that I didn't spot previously. Well done Brian and Randy.
Added to favorites. One of the best videos on youtube. IMO

I felt an amazing cold sensation in my chest while listening this!!!
Astoundingly beautiful, to listen to, and to watch!
This is just sensational: the music, the video, the concept, the execution. This is more than just good, this is very, VERY good. Clever chap that BT.
the part at 9:09 is addicting to listen to, I keep replaying that part over and over, you hear something new every time
Fascinate, so good!!!
I must add, he does a fine job, he still keeps his ambiental style like you hear on this track, in other words he hasn't change, he is just trying new stuff. Must like this ambiental dubstep, not comparing with the toxic ones.
The vibes are amazing! SO chill!
This is why you continue to be my favorite artist of all time
I love this music! Very nice start and dubstep simply gorgeous!!
Best 14 minutes of my last 30 days. Thank you!
This is just so amazing...I'm speechless!!!
Magnific Video!
This was truly incredible. It's funny how we forget to appreciate the beauty that's all around us, I think i'm going to go outside and look at the stars now.
~ How I feel good ! ! ! !
~ Angel.
5:57 - 7:50 is my favorite part
BT, thank you for inspiration!
I wish BT had a channel so I could all his music in one place.
A perfect food for soul
beautiful tune and music video!
Massive vivy vibes or just overall sci Fi settings feel and I love it
Superb - Fantastic One Of Best Videos I've Ever Seen since 2-3 past years as a Music Video
specially in electronic music
Ambient Music Mixture With Space Is Very Good But Very Common

Amazing tune and video! We need "13 Angels On My Broken Windowsill" part 2!
Awesome imagery!!
Beautiful.
Фантастика!!!!!!
The old ruined houses frozen in time while time is sped up in the heavens (the stars moving fast). That was beautiful. Showing time moving fast (the clouds moving fast) while the sunflowers move. Outstanding
i vote for BT he signed an autograph for me in Atlanta a long time ago when he had his laptop symphony tour for emotional technology
