    You can fry chicken without ANY coating and you still get a nice crispy skin. I use lard and it's great

      Correct but if you WANT coating, that's what a recipe is needed for.

    Hello, I love your style of cooking and explaining. You are spot-on with your recipes, I have tried several and always look to your channel first for most of my Keto recipes. I am Hispanic and may alter some of your recipes to fit our culture type foods. The main thing is the ingredients you use I use also, I just haven't purchased the "Miracle flour" yet, but I do use Lupina. I love Lupina! I will be trying the Miracle flour soon. There are some recipes I'm interested in converting, and that is "Pan Dulce", in (Mexican sweet bread). I have tried to make some of my favorite using Lupina, but I can't get the correct ratio. One recipe calls for this: 450 grams flour, 200 grams veggie shortening, 10 grams cinnamon, 150 grams milk, 10 grams active dry yeast, 10 grams sugar, 1 pinch salt (this bread is called "Pan de Canela" (Cinnamon bread). I just couldn't get the texture right. :(
    Thank you for your channel and much success on your Keto journey! I have been living the Keto lifestyle for over 2 years now and I LOVE it- I have lost over 50 pounds- but right now I'm at a standstill- but it doesn't matter- life goes on and your recipes are inspiring!

    I've been debating whether to get a standalone sous vide machine or an Instant Pot with a sous vide setting. 🤔
    Love your recipes!! ❤💙💜 I would need to make a HUGE batch of sous vide with that one!! 😆

    I love your recipes so much. For a while I was pretty much looking only to you, for every keto recipe I wanted to try. I came for the lupin flour recipes - and found that, in addition to the truly yummy quality of them, your selection of recipes is just freaking fantastic. The pictures are always brilliant and look like… ok, I don’t know… but they sure don’t look like anything is sacrificed - which is literally life-changing for me. I’ve never stuck so consistently, for so long, with any other diet plan.
    I ‘strayed’ (lol) for a bit, liking the look/format of ketoserts videos, but they seem to still be almond and coconut flour based, which misses out on things like lupin flour (the keto lupin revolution is upon us 🥰) and other newly learned-of ingredients. My kitchen looks more like an apothecary now, with so many cute labelled jars of every product that’s come across my radar. And now I realize I was right to not run all over UA-cam - just check with Samiyah (I think I’ve spelled that wrong - 🤷‍♀️. Such a pretty name.) for the perfect recipe every time.
    Sorry this is a novel and all over the place. But… where was I?… I haven’t done as well with your bread (with any keto bread). That’s because I thought I hated oat fiber, so kept trying to replace it with other things. I’m so bad for straying from recipes. I learn slowly. But I’m back and gonna be disciplined.
    So… last point/question… Have you tried Prince Arthur’s Keto Wheat Flour? Guar gum? Resistant corn starch? Skim or whole milk powder? And malt powder (“malted milk”)?
    And again… YOU ARE AWESOME. YOUR WORK IS BRILLIANT. AND I NEED THE WHOLE WORLD TO SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR CHANNEL!! 🤩🥰🌷

      Hi Tamara! Such a pretty name. My daughter’s name is Samarah. Thank you so much for your kind words and support. As for oat fiber. I understand what you mean. Different brand have different taste and texture so I kept purchasing them until I found one that I like and the link in the description of this video is my favorite. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would recommend checking it out. As for the King Arthur brand, I haven’t tried any of it yet but I might soon for this second leg of my journey. I hope you are able to make the bread and find some success with it. Let me know how it turns out. 🥰

    Use Whey protein powder for the coating. It doesn’t brown fast like the lupin flour and it taste great.

    New to the channel. I see that you have a lot of recipes that I would love to try. However, you use a lot of Lupin flour. My son is deathly allergic to beans, so I can't use it. What do you, or anyone else, recommend that I use instead?

    • @Danielle_1234
      @Danielle_1234 2 роки тому

      Have you tested this allergy on your son? I'm severely go to the hospital allergic to most legumes like soy and lupin flour is a legume, but I'm luckily not allergic to it. Beans thankfully are even farther away to lupin flour. Odds are he'll have no issue.
      Also, so you know, there are food allergists out there that get rid of food allergies. They're somewhat rare in the US but they're worth traveling to. Food allergies suck! Good luck.

    Hello. I just bought my first bag of lupin flour and the smell is weird and maybe chemically. Does your lupin flour have a smell?

    • @Danielle_1234
      @Danielle_1234 2 роки тому

      It smells and tastes like grass if it isn't cooked. It's very bitter before it is cooked.
