Hey buddy, i have ableton, my thing is when you download it, where is it being downloaded to? My Daw asks me where do you want me to look for the plugin.. and i dont know where its downloading... I did find them manually, but they do not appear in my DAW. Any help?
Hello, They are usually saved in the applications folders on the Waves folder located all the way at the bottom. The other option is to go to the Finder window, select GO press Option on the keyboard, and then "Library" will appear on the menu. Follow this path Library/Caches/waves audio /instl/instl/V13/mac/plugins and that's the other way. I think.
I’m about to give up on this. Everytime I try to install the program, it says Central will restart in a few minutes then nothing happens. Why is this so difficult for a paying customer?
This might be a waves upgrading situation. They were trying to transition from buying perpetual license plugins to subscriptions only. They are currently working on updating their system.
Download wave central on the second computer and move the license from one computer to another. If you have a second license available you should be able to see it and activate it in wave central.
Hi I just updated my Waves V13 licenses to V14, everything works with V14 but when I launch an old session, the Waves plugins under V13 no longer open, which is very disturbing… do you have a solution?
Hello, I'm not sure to be honest On my own experience, I upgraded from V9 to V13 and all plugins worked from my previous session. It moght be someting to do with the OS I'm currently using Monterey 12.4. Afyer doinf some research It looks like V14 support Mac OS Catalina 10.5.7 and Up. Just in case you are using mac. Windows 10 64 bits and windows 11

So you can relaunch your projects with V9 plugins that opens, right? thanks for the helps :) I take this opportunity to ask you if you know what waveshell is for, why do you have to go through waveshells to open its plugins, don't you find it annoying?

I know waves shell is some kind of software that allows you to use the waves plugin but I don't have to open it or do anything else with it. I think it works in the background. I just use waves central to move plugins from one computer to another if I have to.

If you have a second license. It should appear on the license tab and you should be able to activate to any computer you wish.
