twenty seconds into the video and just one tip: don't wear a blousse with a pattern like this because it glitches out the camera. This is an old presentator mistake.

That is indeed true, but the camera does also matter, just not as much if you just have a decent camera.

Concise, but covers multiple scenario of interest to me. Great video!
It goes through a short presentation, then moves to scenarios a normal user might want to consider. Great to see the issue explored from both angles.

Hi. I've been trying to figure this one out for a few days:
Parts: z170 deluxe, sata hdd, and waiting on Intel 600p m.2
I want to use the hdd as storage and run the OS off the 600p. Do I used the onboard m.2 connector for the Intel 600p? Or should I be using the m.2 on the PCIe expansion card.

Hi JJ, great video. I now have SSDs in both my Sata and M.2 slots. However, the M.2 NVMe slot (attached to my smaller drive) is noticeably faster - as you explained this is because Sata was introduced specifically for mechanical HDs. So, I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow plug my larger SSD into the motherboard using the M.2 slot instead of Sata? My laptop is a Lenovo Legion y720. Is there any kind of adapter? Of course this would render my present smaller SSD redundant but I could live with that given that my main drive is much larger capacity. If you have any ideas, I would be very interested. Thanks in advance.

Am I mad to consider a HyperX Savage 960GB SSD kit over a M.2 Samsung 950 Pro? I know the Samsung will be upt to 3 or 4 times as fast but is it really noticeable? The reason I ask is that I am installing it into an MSI GE72 6QC and the OEM 7200 RPM HDD can be swapped out for the HyperX very easily (on the videos I've seen it takes 15-20 mins!) The Samsung requires a full clean install of Windows 10 and can't migrate all the data from the mechanical drive so I'd have to download everything again. Is the ballache worth it?

Thanks J.J. for another great video. Question for my next gaming build. M.2 or PCIe Intel 750. Are they both going to produce the same speeds or is one more favorable than the other. Also on that note, I see many of the newer mobo's on the market that offer the M.2 slot, it seems there's only one M.2 slot. If I wanted to run two Intel 750's. How would that work and will that saturate my PCI slots so much that running dual GPU cards would result in terrible performance. I was planning on using the x99 platform with the intel 8 core processor. Thanks again for your cherished wisdom.
