Fantastic knives. I'm a big fan of all the Victorianox Alox but the Farmer, Farmer X and Army 7 are the quintessential outdoorsman pocket tools. Exceptional quality and built to last a lifetime.
I've followed you on Instagram for years and somehow I didn't know you had a UA-cam channel. Subscribed now. I just ordered one of these and it should be here some time this week, I've had a Huntsman since I was about six, so I figure 25 years is a good run but I wanted something a little different as a companion to my Leatherman and I almost never use the corkscrew or parcel hook so this seemed a good fit.
The farmer and farmer x are both great knives. I use the farmer on an artic necklace. My edc is a ranger. Some very cool modifications. Very clever but c useful too.
Picked one of these up after originally seeing your video a couple months back and have been loving it! It would be cool to see you do some projects using this, and maybe building a small fire using this and the little ferro rods that you carry!👍🏻
You can do a lot with a Swiss army knifes I have own a small amount. I carry the waiter now. I use that flat head screw drive just for cleaning out things as a diesel mechanic.
I know bottle opener and can opener are useful but just looked at my farmer and thought it would be so easy to make a 2 layer multi tool with just awl knife and saw, cant get the idea out of my head seems like such a good idea
Curious about your mod to the Alox 7 - I've thought about getting one and turning the pruning blade into a sheepsfoot or regular small blade shape. I run a Famer X for EDC but it only lacks the small blade.
@@CleaveMountaineering I removed the hawk blade for a Swiss Army knife small pen blade great thin blade for whittling I have tried making a sheep foot blade out of the hawk but it’s a bit shorter the the pen blade
Can’t believe you haven’t got more subscribers. Thanks to Taylor Martin for ‘introducing’ you to me, loved your pocket dumb in a recent video of Taylor’s.
A few years ago, there were some special models for collector groups featuring the hawkbill blade: "Rancher X" and "Harvester X" (a Pioneer X and a Farmer X with a hawkbill blade instead of the can opener). Earlier, there were quite a few models with that blade.
I havent posted much in axed on here. But I have a lot on IG I have a axe kit video request I have to so soon. I'll have to check it out! I've forged a few in the coal forge that turned out pretty good. Kinda like a carpenter's half hatchet

I use all the tools on this knife everyday, and it is the most useful SAK I’ve found. Easy to clean and maintain. Great video! Greetings from Denmark.

The Farmer X is a great one!

I have one because you said it was a good blade. You were not wrong brother.
I also sharpen the screwdriver to make chisel. Helps save blade and works great for bushcrafting.
Post a new one on this EDC brotha. One of my favorites to watch. Would love to see an update.

I have the Safari as well - bought it so long ago (late 80's I think) I forgot what the name of it was lol

They made it for Swiss Bianco, it was called Bushcrafter.
Indeed, probably the easiest mod when you just want to remove a whole layer.
Great video, iv see the custom single show on your Instagram and would love to see a video on that one day
Great stuff u do sir. Love the Alox my self I mod a Alox 7 for whittling always on my with a wave

I wish there were more offerings with the hawkbill blade. I’d be all over the SA2 Alox if it were available in the States.

Great review man!
Also, your phone's mic sounds perfectly fine, no worries.
I’ve seen a bunch of blades on your but not axes I made you one with my custom survival handle and she throws pretty sweet to

Good video! 👍
I’m not sure that “safari” is a real victorinox
I was skeptical also but it actually is! Retired/discontinued. There are some on eBay. Wish they were still offered, interesting model!
It is. They had a bunch of similar models in the 108 mm size.
Yep, pretty awesome
Where to get such a pocket whistle?
I think I got them off Amazon it's for paracord lanyards
Hello Sir, can I ask out of the Rebar and the Farmer X which one is you favourite carry.
