So many options, having the toggle already on the bottle cap makes things more efficient. I used a soft wood for the demo but hardwood would be better for the long run
Expect a bit more difficulty with hardwood, but it's completely doable with just the items I included in the"begining bushcraft gear" video.
Gloves, multitool, tongs you can remove a hot metal bottle several ways, this is just one of them and being ready to roll is just faster IMO
This can be done on the fly with a piece of string and a stick. Use a larks head off center and have at it.

One of the best shoulder carry options I've ever used. Both in the field and at work for multiple years. I just need to break down and start back using it. Looking for the "next big thing" is something we are all guilty of, just keep in mind the good one may be a couple finds back. This one has been nothing but good for me, comfortable and carries more stuff than you want without being too big....

Another ranger band application. Cut to the width you need, add the ability to pouch up a Nalgene or another water bottle. Would be a good application for water purification supplies and a couple extra emergency bits Tube was 4.10/350x5 common size for go-carts and some lawnmower or mini bikes

This is the setup I've went with on my @Thegrayloriginal ultra-press. Camp craft outdoors ultra light filter bag Boundless voyage 350 ML cup w/lid The other buts and bobs are just my personal bits that I like to have in the kit. Feel free to use them or do your own thing. The "nesting" portion is pretty straight forward tho. This will help narrow down the cup that fits.

How I hollow the stems

There are lots of ways to "hollow the stems" but I find it easier to just use something that is pretty much already hollow. Dried out black walnut saplings and limbs have a good pith and are easy to do this with.
